When we were looking for PT for my daughter we went to ATI despite my daughters sports Med doctor…read moretelling us not to but it was one of the most affordable options. When we talked to them on the phone reception told us that it's usually $20-60 but they haven't seen people pay more than that. We were excited because this was half the price of other places in the area and we knew this could be a long process. After SEVEN PT appointments, we get a bill for $115-$125 PER SESSION after insurance. Luckily, our family can afford this but this could really hurt other families financially. Although it was expensive, my daughter did enjoy going to ATI. I was hoping for a female trainer, however, most of their trainers are male. There was an area that was not viewable from the waiting area and they were really cool about letting us go back there so our daughter was not alone. In the time she went there, she worked with two different trainers and she really liked them. When we told them we were going somewhere else, the trainer she worked with printed her out some exercises and gave me his card. He said that we can reach out if we have any questions. Also, the receptionist in the late afternoon is bilingual which is really cool. My only gripe is the dishonesty about the cost but to me that is a huge deal as that can cause a lot of harm to families, especially those still getting their life together after a pandemic.

Consequently, my husband has been goin to the ATI on Miller Park Way, which made it more convenient for our schedule. The facility is fairly new cuz they just opened up last year or so. The place is clean. The staff: front desk is very friendly. The Physical Therapist that my husband & I are seeing are very friendly, accommodating, & very professional. I would highly recommend this facility to friends & family. Physical Therapist , Kevin & Lauren, are great! Kevin: I particularly appreciated how he explained to my son the importance of healing & prevention of further injury. Very informative for my son. Lauren: I like how gentle she has been considering the pain I am enduring due to the injury I am experiencing fr the auto accident.

The evaluation is molded by the person working with you. At Vita I was fortunate to be assigned to Joe. He is cerebral and knowledgeable with an eclectic array of skills. His multi-faceted approach is ideal for someone such as myself, as templates never fit. I am not the norm. Joe understands movement, strength, body manipulation, and the gestalt of health. My aches, inflexibility, and aging are handled with analysis, searching for what in his bag of tricks will work best. Joe is like a Zen Master, and I leave Vita feeling exponentially better. The facility itself is clean, modern and comfortable, with enough space to feel private. Jennifer, Barit, and Gina, the front desk staff, greet you with a down to earth welcome, but they are also worldly, in a refreshing manner. My conversations are always enlightening, plus they are organized and keep the scheduling together. They use technology to make everything seamless. I have encountered PT in an array of cities throughout the United States. Vita is the best of them all.

Blindsided by surprise bills after being promised transparency…read more I went to Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin for shoulder pain from some intense home remodeling. My doctor referred me, but I hesitated because I was genuinely worried about the cost. When the clinic called to schedule, I was VERY upfront about my financial concerns and told them I wouldn't move forward without knowing what it would cost. The woman on the phone was extremely confident -- said insurance usually covers everything, and if there was a charge, I'd be told before my first appointment. She was also very pushy about getting me to commit to six sessions right away. I repeated several times that I didn't want to be surprised by a big bill, and she kept assuring me I'd be notified if anything wasn't covered. At my first appointment, I was walked through some simple stretches. Nothing revolutionary -- just basic mobility stuff. I asked again about cost, and the physical therapist told me the billing person wasn't in but that she was great about contacting patients. He even said he'd have her reach out if there were any issues. Well, I never heard from her. I went to all six appointments -- which honestly could've been condensed into two. Every session was more stretching, with minimal change or progress. Each time, I asked about the billing and was told, "If there was a charge, she would've contacted you." Then weeks later... a bill: $525. I was shocked. After trying to figure out what happened and not getting anywhere, I eventually paid it -- just to avoid going to collections. But it didn't end there. A few weeks later I got another bill -- $650 more. Turns out, insurance only covered 30% of each visit -- and I was being charged $350 per session to learn stretches I could've gotten off YouTube. This place was dishonest and dismissive. I made my concerns very clear from the start. They told me what I needed to hear to get me in the door, and now I'm stuck with almost $1,200 in bills I never agreed to. I feel totally taken advantage of.
