This place is wonderful! We went to Warrior Playground on a Friday, and on Monday of the next…read moreweek, they called us personally to ask how we enjoyed the experience, and how they could better serve us in the future. The owners are real people running a locally owned business, and offering GREAT service to their customers! They don't have all of the bells and whistles of the larger and more corporate trampoline/ninja parks, but the experience was just as enjoyable for our family! I have three boys and a girl aged 16 to 6. They are in gymnastics and are self-taught in Ninja obstacles. At first, the staff hesitated to allow my kids to try the advanced ninja obstacles (because it was our first time there), but communicated that clearly and considerately, while eventually giving them a chance to "prove themselves" under proper supervision. I appreciated their genuine concern for my kids' safety, while still being willing to cater to their desire to challenge themselves. My boys also appreciated the staff catering to them so they could enjoy the experience even more! Warrior Playground appears on the Colorado "Get Out Pass" which gets you a free session at the playground during Open Gym time on certain days.

BEWARE! Airborne's new owner are unethical and dishonest, in our experience. Immediate termination…read moreof my level 10 athlete, a six year veteran of an Airborne's competitive team, from the team/gym within 24 hours and two emails while gaslighting the situation with false accusation: unfathomable. We had (still have) never met or even spoken to the new owners. Their primary reason after I debunked numerous false accusations, was because I refused to purchase a competition leotard through them. Here's the kicker, they already OK'd the parents to select and purchase the leotards directly without them. I personally requested and received permission via email from a Director at Airborne with at least one of the owner's acknowledgement to inquire about wholesale pricing and to purchase the competition leotards directly. Since I had been ordering gear for the team for several years, I directly contacted the leotard rep and was able obtain wholesale pricing, without use of a booster club, put design options together, and secured sizers upon Airborne's approval of design. Parents were also granted permission by Airborne to use practice time to size the girls. Apparently Airborne planned to use the sizers I secured to place the order directly and (surprise!) upcharge all parents with no communication at all. I heard this through the grapevine during the designated practice for parents to size the girls (our family was in crisis mode so I wasn't able to be at the gym). I did the work to design and secure great pricing for the team, with permission from Airborne, for the team's benefit, and then they underhandedly swooped in to charge the team without even the courtesy of asking if they could use the sizers I secured. This felt very deceptive and manipulative. It gets worse than just charging me for the work I did. My first communication I had with Airborne owner's was when I sent an email to them per directors/head coach suggestion explaining the history, their previous approval, and the work I put into it. Their following emails had numerous conflicting statements as well several false accusations towards me, such as I used an old booster club to obtain wholesale pricing (another company also offered wholesale pricing to us as parents) and that I never did the ordering for the team. They continued to knowingly falsely tell parents that I unethically used an old booster club to obtain wholesales even after they were told that I had written proof to the contrary. One would expect people who work with children to promote ethics, integrity, and communication. Airborne's behavior is unacceptable for any business, but especially for those entrusted with children and teens. I had kept the Director/Head Coach abreast of how pricing was obtained and every step I was taking via text. I openly and transparently communicated, truthfully, in good faith. Once the booster club accusation was debunked the owner's told others that I sent excessively negative emails but neglected to mention that my emails were in response to their false accusations. Of course I was frustrated and could have had less harsh emails rather than responding to them in the same manner they were treating me. My daughter had completely trusted and had had a close relationship with the head coach. His actions, or lack thereof, caused her to lose her great love for the sport and caused damage with trusting another coach in a different sport. All the correspondence is in writing. Please feel free to contact me on this matter at protect.our.child.athletes@gmail.com. I will do everything I can to keep this from happening to another child/teenager. Oh and btw, booster clubs are for the benefit of the athletes, not a pro-profit business (don't get bullied into pay-for-play, it's illegal). Adorable studio in adorable downtown Louisville. Being not all that familiar with the area I parked…read moredown the road a bit (word to the wise - they do have a lot on the north side of the building) and scurried on over. The building housing the studio is quite large and contains several businesses within it's walls. Don't be tempted by the main door for the building, the studio has it's own door on the north side. Upon entering there's seating, clothing to peruse, free tea, malas, and natural deodorant. Bonus: there's a really funny book on men doing yoga in kilts. You really could spend a whole afternoon here. I checked in with Rose at the front desk, completed my waiver and stowed my belongings in the little cubbies near the changing rooms. The class room itself is just beautiful. Wooden floor, lots of windows, a small stage, and calming artwork. The acoustics are also good. Rose played some sweet jams which set a fun tone for class. Despite years of being upside down (gymnastics, acro yoga, etc.) I felt a bit like a baby horse in this class. Turns out silks don't come naturally to me at all. No worries tho, Rose was there for the rescue. She offered a variety of modifications for how to get into and out of the silks and poses. Classmates were friendly and didn't laugh despite my grunts of discomfort (who knew there'd be a surprise facial release where the silks supported my body). I'll definitely be coming back to check out more of their offerings.

High-Flyin' My…read morefriend and I got our Aerial Yoga on this past Sunday during an intro session. What better way to discover and experience new yoga styles then going with a fellow yoga teacher & taking this awesome class together ;) I do appreciate the 'intro to aerial yoga' session to get acquainted with how things work and basically allowing your body to be comfortable with the silk and suspension. I am use to a more rigorous yoga flow and, though this intro class was pleasant & helpful, I wouldn't recommend it to those wanting an intermediate or advance type session. With that said, it was the perfect pace and difficulty level to gain the basic skills to utilize and build upon to eventually become an aerial expert. After that intro, I feel that I'm personally set to take it up a notch, though one more intro class with the girls would be icing on the learning curve cake. The space is also very welcoming. The layout isn't something I'm use to for a yoga studio but it works out nicely. It's clean and has a homey feel upon entering. They also offer many other courses and special events that may entice you. Just remember to sign up online & save yourself a spot @ the class you'd like to take. It's currently half off for first time visitors and I've also seen a great living social deal for Figure Yoga that may still be available- always a good choice if your local to this place. Definitely go on their site & give them a call for more info.
