Both of these incredibly talented and knowledgeable professionals provided me with a plan and goals! The prognosis I received from my surgeon was not good as he informed me that the goal was just to be able to function with my hand at about 50% of pre injury due to my catastrophic injury. This was unacceptable for me to hear as I am very active and diminished use would negatively affect the quality of my every day activities. However due to my skilled providers (Lindsay and Jess) I am happy to report my flexibility and dexterity has returned 100%!!! My strength has currently returned by 90% but I am gaining more and more each day under my provider's guidance and positive coaching. I can confidently state that that Professional Physical Therapy in Sayville has returned me back to my pre injury self!! As I am nearing complete recovery, my family and I are very appreciative to have such a positive experience!!
