I can not emphasize enough the extraordinary experience my family and I had with the Hockaday Brothers Moving Company (HBMC) during our recent move. From the moment we engaged their services, it was evident that we were in the hands of consummate professionals. Despite the challenges that moving day inevitably brings, they kept us at ease throughout the entire process.
Foremost, let me commend the dedication and sheer stamina exhibited by the crew. Working tirelessly and with unwavering energy, the five (5) man crew (including the owners operator) with two (2) large moving trucks, efficiently tackled every aspect of our move, regardless of the hour or the complexity of the task at hand. Their meticulous attention to detail and careful handling of our items was truly commendable. Their relentless work ethic not only impressed us but also alleviated any apprehensions we might have had about the daunting moving process.
What truly sets Hockaday Brothers apart is their unwavering commitment to honesty and integrity. Unlike many others in the industry, they provided a transparent and fair pricing structure, ensuring that we were not taken advantage of during a time when vulnerability often prevails. In an era where people are emboldened behind screens with this unbridled with rage and only post negativity to take companies to the proverbial woodshed, there was ZERO downside lurking within HBMC. These are good guys, trust me because they were with us for about twelve (12) hours straight. Listen, despite their three-hour drive from Charlotte to the RDU area, they arrived promptly and ready to tackle the tremendous job at hand in this unexpected time gobbling yet client focused move. Their professionalism, dedication, and hard work have earned them a customer for life. I will not hesitate to use them for all of my future moving needs and will enthusiastically refer them to anyone in need of a top-notch moving company.It was evident that their priority was not profit but rather ensuring our peace of mind throughout the entire journey.

Each member conducted themselves with the utmost respect for our belongings and properties, handling them with care and precision as if they were their own. This level of professionalism instilled a sense of confidence in us, allowing us to relax and focus on the excitement of the new chapter awaiting us. HBMCs full-service approach to both interstate and intrastate moves is truly laudable. From the initial consultation to final delivery, HB 'leaves no stone unturned' in ensuring a seamless transition for their clients. Forbye, the communication throughout the entire process was beyond outstanding. The regular updates provided leading up to the move, during the process itself, and even afterwards to ensure our satisfaction, truly exemplify their dedication to customer service excellence.
I must admit, my decision to hire HB was influenced by the glowing feedback I researched online, particularly on the app, Thumbtack. However, it is one thing to read about exceptional service and quite another to experience it firsthand. Their service speaks volumes about their commitment to going above and beyond for their clients. Not to mention, they finished at 1am and had to lend services to another client bright and early the next day... and yet the owner, Jackson, still found time to text me to ensure we got some much needed rest and that everything was great on our side. Jackson, the aforementioned owner, was right there, moving boxes and furniture, working up a sweat in the cold of night, alongside his equally hard-working crew. Sir, you are one of a kind, a gentleman, a great leader, an amazing communicator, and an astute business owner & we're glad to know you and your team. We wish you, and the crew, great success in your endeavors. Don't change a thing!
To everybody reading this, it's rather needless to say at this juncture, but here goes. . . I have become a staunch advocate for HBMC, a family-owned moving company, and will not hesitate to recommend their services to friends and family alike.
