Horrible customer service! I will never return to this business. I'll go back to interlink and not look back, they price match either way.

Book club preparations - Stop #4…read more Sam's is a great place to buy product in bulk as they have amazing prices. That's the good news. The downside of shopping at Sam's during peak hours is the store swarming with people, long lines and having to pack your purchased items in random boxes. I was searching for one item and one item only...a case of Topo Chico sparkling mineral water, which is bottled in Monterrey, Mexico. It is known for its crisp carbonation and distinctive mineral profile. Topo Chico appears unique to the South, I believe, a I have not seen it anywhere else. Topo Chico is fan favorite in Texas especially. As the story goes, the water's origin is tied to a legend involving the daughter of Emperor Moctezuma, who was said to have been totally revitalized after drinking from the spring at Cerro del Topo Chico. I grabbed by water, paid and out I went.

Naturally, that causes unnecessarily long waits, no matter what time you visit. It's frustrating, especially when you're already going out of your way to get here, but then the prices are hard to argue with... I've never successfully shopped in store. Employees are gruff at best and the hours are infuriating for someone who likes to get started early, but not pay $$$ for the privilege. It's unlikely I'll renew my membership after this year.

I felt like this was going to be a good deal. The owner had also recently joined a Referral Networking Organization that I run in Austin. Maybe something changed or cash ran low. If I search for reviews now I can find others with similar experiences to my own. He is no longer in the networking organization and I have even found some vendor's that he failed to pay.So here is our story. I hope it will save you from going though the nightmare we are still dealing with. We ordered and paid in May of 2012. We put the deposit down and ordered the cabinets before we had even closed on the new house. We were told it was the only way they could get them finished and installed by the end of June. The only deadline they committed to and actually delivered on was when we demo'd the Kitchen back in early June. All my calls and emails asking for updates went pretty much unreturned. I had to drive to the showroom if I wanted to actually be able to speak to someone. Even his Staff said they could only get him via text message. The owner turned off incoming calls on his cell phone. The vendors we hired to do the floors, painting, bathroom remodel, lighting, electrical, plumbing and audio system all did wonderful jobs. In addition they also finished everything on time. We had everything completed, other than the Kitchen and Appliances by June 23rd. We agreed to a price, signed contracts and were even planning to add an outdoor BBQ and closet with some trade. It's now August and the only thing I have been able to get is the shells for the cabinets. They shells are not even close to the quality work that was promised. I think IKEA has them beat on quality of product. Maybe this was not always the case. I was told by their Staff that their Cabinet Builder quit in May. Our project was supposed to be completed by the end of June. I would think that would mean all the appliances and products would have already been on Site in preparation. We paid 60% of the money at the time of the order (In May). That is more than 50% required per Coleman's terms. When they missed the 1st deadline in June the excuse was that they were just finishing up the cabinets. No additional money was ever requested or discussed. After a week in the house with no KitchenI asked if we could at least get the Appliances. We have a 9 year old and it was rather hard without them. He said they could order them if I paid for delivery. Only two days earlier he had said they were doing there best to hit the deadline and now I find out they have not even ordered the products. Then, 2 weeks after that we are told they can no longer get Kitchen Aid Appliances. We thought we we had ordered and paid for a "Mercedes" Kitchen. Now he was offering to replace the "Mercedes" with a Kia for the same price. After more calls, texts and emails they finally agreed to show up. with the Cabinets. They made an appointment for 8AM. As usual, no one showed up or called. After I called them numerous times I was told they were stuck on another job but would be out later. They showed up at 7PM but only to drop off only the cabinet shells. They were STILL working on the drawers and doors. I thought this was funny. In June the only delay preventing our products from arriving was rain. They had to rent a truck, on our dime, because it was raining and they only had a flatbed trailer. It was excuse after excuse with this guy. When the cabinets were dropped off I was told they would be back in the morning with a crew to start installation. That appointment came and went like all the other. No one showed up, no one called and I had to call them to get an another excuse. I asked again if they could at least bring the refrigerator as it was getting hard and was very unhealthy to eat out every meal. OMG...now the the owner called wanted more money to "Fund" my appliance order before we could move forward on the project. I guess he is having a cash flow issue. I guess it should have been a red flag when I discovered his family car was an 5 year old KIA Spectra. Not an indicator of good cash flow. I said we needed to talk in person. We set an appointment to meet at his store at 10AM. Not surprisingly he stood me up. Even his sales guys thought it was odd since it was written on the wall calendar in his showroom. His sales guys had to call to tell me that Allen had returned to the showroom. I decided to drive back at 2PM. We talked for awhile and I thought had agreed to a solution. I had him give me some dates for the completion of each stage of the project. I even wrote them down and had him sign next to them. They were once again missed. We are now taking legal action. Hope this helps

Kitchen Nightmare - Ordered a complete kitchen remodel and everything had to be paid in advance…read morebecause it was "wholesale." This should have been my first clue. I ordered custom, all wood, factory finished wood cabinets, stone counter tops and an appliance package. The demo person came on March 12, 2012 and was on time and did a very good job. After that it was downhill all the way! Sat home waiting for materials and workmen who never arrived. Cabinets were finally delivered at 7PM one night. They did not come in factory boxes but were shrink wrapped (another clue). They had flimsy paper like laminate on sides that were already peeling and these were suppose to be brand new! Also parts and accessories are missing. There are a lot of nicks and gouges on the surfaces. After lots of frustration and aggravation trying to get Mr. Coleman to resolve these issues I notified him I was no longer doing business with him. He sent a very unprofessional, intimidating email and said he would sue for slander if I said anything bad about his business. My lawyer said the proof is in the cabinets. Had independent appraisers look at these cabinets and was told by all of them that I got taken and the cabinets were substandard. I had paid close to $10,000. for the cabinets alone and they are not as nice as Home Depot's cheapest brand. For that amount of money I should have received the custom wood cabinets I ordered and was promised. Fortunately I used my charge card for most of the purchases and after a thorough investigation they backed me up and I recouped that money. Unfortunately I paid by check for the appliances which I never received and also never received a refund. I am filing a fraud report and hope to recover the rest of my money from Mr. Coleman.
