Now to their credit, they did fit me into their schedule in just a days notice. I met them at the house, paid & provided all my own cleaning supplies. When I went back to check, as I took my shoes off at the door I noticed dust & grit on the soles of my feet. Next I find, crumbs & dirt on the countertops, shelves not wipes & gritty dust on all the wood floors & a food wrapper left behind. (Since I had not moved in yet there was no food in the house). I grabbed my bona mop ( it & the 2nd cover I left had not even been used), the cleaners & rags I left were all unused. I cleaned 2 rooms with the first cover, then 2 with the 2nd. They were so filthy (nearly black) that I had to wash them & start again. Till I finished I had coated both mop covers 3 times each. Art had called on his way to see if the AC was on yet. I suspect that they sat around in the AC to chat or whatever & eat. Whatever they did it was certainly not cleaning. I asked for a refund & was refused. There was no offer to re-clean. I do not recommend this company.

I occasionally travel for work and used Alex Cleaners on several occasions over the last few years as my local neighborhood shop to get a quick service before meeting with Clients. Normally no issues... but... Last month I was preparing for both an interview and a wedding. I dropped off a suit and shirt for cleaning like usual. I was given a ticket slip and told to come back in a few days. When I came back, the employee couldn't find my suit or their copy of the claim ticket. I assumed maybe just a clerical error and spent 30 minutes with the employee going through the racks to see if it had been misplaced. Nothing. I gave them my information and was told the owner would call me back and I hoped they'd have an update. Meanwhile I'm going home trying to figure out backup plans if I don't get my suit in time. This is where it gets crazy. The owner calls me within the hour and tells me someone came in several days earlier without the ticket receipt. The person claimed to be me and Alex Cleaners gave them my suit when they paid in cash. I was confused. Why would they give my suit to someone without the claim ticket? They had my contact information on the business copy of the ticket, so why wouldn't they try calling my phone number or email to verify my identity? But they didn't. Any time I tried to ask a question, the owner cut me off and talked over me. I got more confused because rather than admitting making a mistake as a business, the owner THREATENED me by claiming I was trying to scam them and that he was going to call the police on me! At this point I ended the conversation terrified this guy was going to have police or attorneys coming after me for their mistake. I filed my own police report, but I'm not planning on taking this to court. The suit was nice but not worth legal drama. The most I can do is warn others not to use Alex Cleaners. I don't know what their situation is... if they messed up and were lying to cover themselves when they realized they lost my clothes? That or their employees are sharing customer info to commit fraud and steal suits because they don't have security systems or processes to protect customer belongings. Either way, save yourself the drama and get your stuff cleaned somewhere else. TL;DR Alex Cleaners gave my suit to a stranger then threatened me.

I shook my head and explained. He asked what I was tryin to do. I explained and he said a circular saw would do it. To apply masking tape first to cut down the middle to avoid cracking the wood. Being that this is a public laundromat you would think you had access to the machines you came for unless being used by another patron. Not here!! Then when I asked about using the ones that were labeled out of service because I could clearly see they were working, I got told I'll just have to wait. Mind you all of this was said in Spanish because no one speaks English here. I'll update if there is an issue with the credit card charges. We went on a Wednesday so most of the machines were busy with the wash and fold business. But every thing went well; and they mentioned that they have a card you could purchase to use with credit on it to not need to use your credit card like that. We're just in town for a visit so I don't know about that. Most machines were used; with a few not working.
