Wow! What a wonderful dining experience in Bishop Arts! Stepping into the restaurant takes you into what feels like a trendy, warm and inviting art gallery. The service is attentive and personable. The food presentation is wonderful and tastes as delicious as it looks. We started with the roasted cabbage-loved the sweet taste of pear, pork belly-the burnt apple butter, may have been our fave dish, and fried rice-unbelievably flavorful. Our server had great suggestions for wine pairings with each course. All the dishes are served family style with the courses paced well. We also had the waygu bolognese and half roasted chicken-chicken was so tender and delish, and ended with the matcha cheesecake-a different take on cheesecake and highly recommend. The space and ambience feels intimate yet lively, the art is beautiful and I love that there is private dining room in the back for larger parties. We highly recommend giving Ateliê a try, and can't wait to come back soon with some friends!

I first came here for a run club event and had the BEST frittata, so I've been wanting to come back for dinner and wow, it did not disappoint. I ordered the cacio e pepe and it was incredible. Super simple, but packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The cabbage honestly stole the show for me. It was so delicious, with amazing flavor, and paired so well with the pear. Such a unique dish and I completely cleaned my plate. The service was just as impressive. Everyone was so kind, and I even got to meet the chef, who was incredibly friendly. I also love the whole concept of combining an art gallery with the restaurant. It makes the experience feel really special and different. For dessert, I had the strawberry matcha cheesecake, and it was beautifully done with a deconstructed presentation. The perfect "treat yourself" ending to the meal. Overall, such an amazing experience. I'll definitely be recommending this spot to all my friends!

We had only about 24 hours in Dallas so decided to grab dinner here as an early birthday celebration with friends and family. We were greeted and sat promptly even though they had full house on their hands. The restaurant is low lit, with art on almost every wall leaving you with plenty to talk about. We were also very delighted to have a chat with the curator of the space! We had a pretty good waiter, unfortunately I do not recall their name. But they were attentive and kind! There were 4 of us so we did order quite a bit off the menu to share. The biggest theme that we noticed is that most of the food items flavor profile were great, but the finish/cooking technique was a let down. The wagyu pastrami melt tasted good, but I was not a fan of the thickness of the bread. If just a fraction of thickness was removed I would give it a 9/10. The roasted cabbage was probably one of the top dishes of the night. It has a little bite to it, but it was really good otherwise. The roasted carrots weren't anything like described to us! "Candied" was used and that was far from the case, they were largely chopped and underwhelming. The fried rice has everything going for it, except our batch was undercooked? The rice was pretty hard but if done right, would be a 100/10. The Wagyu skirt steak was buttery but at the same time was bland, even with the salsa. The fellas didn't care to finish. The half roasted chicken was the only other top dish of the night for what it's worth. While I found it a bit dry, they sure do know how to season their food! We enjoyed the atmosphere, the low tuned in the background and just being able to eat and yap comfortably! We could see ourselves returning, but no rush.

This experience was phenomenal. I tried a few things on the menu. Their pasta was delicious--probably the best Bolognese I've had in Dallas. The chef in the interior designer came up and was extremely pleasant, sharing some of the events that they have going on, which made us feel at home. I could easily see myself becoming a regular here and definitely recommending it. This is easily one of the top restaurants in Dallas.

I went for brunch on a Saturday. They were partnering with Run it Dallas that day. The menu was very limited and they didn't have sides for the entrees which I didn't like. How do you offer French toast with no option for eggs or bacon. Anyway I got the potato frittata which came with dressed lettuce. It was absolutely delicious. I opted for the bottomless mimosas. Which I love that they let you share. They bring a carafe and refill once empty. I don't know what kind of bubbles they use, but all I got to say is take an uber or have DD. My husband got the steak frites and said it was good. I do recommend this place just know the menu is limited. Oh they had a DJ. The music was good, but a little loud. There weren't many of us in there.

My sister and I chose Atelié to celebrate our birthdays, and I truly cannot imagine a better place we could have picked for such a special occasion. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance stopped us in our tracks. You are quite literally dining inside an art gallery, surrounded by stunning pieces that make every corner of the room a conversation starter. The atmosphere is warm, intimate, romantic. Our waiter was exceptional. He took genuine care walking us through the menu, which made the whole experience feel personal and unhurried. We started with the potato croquettes and roasted cabbage, moved into the sweet potato and Cacio e Pepe, and finished with the wagyu skirt steak. Every single dish was thoughtfully composed, the flavors layered beautifully, and each bite felt like its own little moment. We got to personally meet both owners, which added such a warm and memorable touch to an already incredible night. You could feel the passion and intentionality behind everything they have built here. Atelié is the kind of place that reminds you why dining out can be so special. We will absolutely be back.

New restaurant in oak cliff with prior Michelin restaurant chef! Their food is delicious. They are fairly new so it gets busy and service can be a little slow but this is a tasty spot worth trying with very cool art and good prices. They have a hot Cheeto martini too which I didn't have the chance to try but will be going back! The must haves- Wagyu bolognese and cacio pepe!!! The cabbage was a delicious app to start. I also tried the skirt steak and heard the Mackerel was a must try too.

The Texas Tempranillo stood out with its depth and character, and the Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon was a clear favorite--bold, smooth, and well-balanced. I've also heard that Barons Creek hosts themed events, which adds another layer of appeal. The idea of pairing their wines with a fun or seasonal theme sounds like a great way to experience the tasting room. Beyond a standard visit, and I'm definitely looking forward to attending one of those events in the future. Come to find out - this place is actually the "Bishop Arts Winery," and only opened up a restaurant a couple months ago! We arrived at 7, and we were the only guests there for an hour as the musician set up to play. By the time 8:15 rolled around, the music was in full swing and the 7-10 tables were all occupied by old couples, groups of friends, and even a family with 3 young kids! Although the space itself is small, it wasn't claustrophobic at all - it was homey and nice. Not too loud either. The ambience was very romantic; I loved the interior decorations that made it feel like little Italy and home all at the same time. Now for food - they bring out hot, Parmesan dusted bread as you order and wait for your food...mmmmm. We got the BAW Cabernet Sauvignon by the bottle (24.99) and she let us know that it would be $8 per glass, so it's a bit cheaper to go for the bottle. We had heard good things about the cheese board, so we got a small. Perfect appetizer: at least 6 different tastes of cheeses, salami, different spreads and jams and crackers. Loved it, perfect for 2 people. Our waitress also inspired us to get this fried artichoke/crab meat ball...sounds weird but it was SO GOOD!!!!! Show stealer for sure. I got the classic spaghetti marinara, and Trip got the Bolognese lasagna. Both were impeccable, we are every bite - and the portions were generous but not excessive! Our service was awesome - it felt like they had at least 3 people circulating the small room to make sure everyone was taken care of. Wonderful experience and can't wait to go back!!!

Our evening started with a cocktail hour, during which we got to meet other guests over a glass of Roots & Water cabernet. We loved the cab - light and elegant. Once we were seated, we started with a glass of champagne with east coast oysters. For each course, one of the chefs came out to explain the dish and the inspiration behind it. Chef Adrien explained to us that he and Mollie had curated a menu of aphrodisiacs for Valentine's, and the oyster was prepared in a way that brought out ocean feels. We definitely tasted, felt the ocean waves with the soft red beet foam atop the oyster! Our favorite course of the menu was the soup/pasta dish - fideo noodles with tomato saffron brodo, generous pieces of lobster, and crispy leeks. I'm usually not a fan of tomato-based sauces, but this soup was SO delicious! Not too salty, not too powerful in taste, just right. The noodles were done al dente, with a slightly firm texture in every bite. And the lobster pieces were so soft! We devoured every bite of the entire meal, but we ultimately agreed this course stood out the most! The main was definitely a hit, too! It was braised Texas wagyu with root veg puree, herb emulsion, mushroom, and lots of truffle! We loved the strong flavors of the wagyu paired with the puree - so soft, so fluffy, subtle in taste. And the red that went with it *chef's kiss* We were also impressed with the potato dish - ambrosia fingerling potato with duck fat, burnt crema on top with caviar, ikura, trout roe. Who woulda thought caviar and roe go well with potato! And the crema to balance out all the flavors. We liked how the potato was sliced into perfectly thin pieces for each bite. For the dessert, the panna cotta was paired with a white wine, which we appreciated, as we're not big fans of port/dessert wines. We liked the balance in flavors with the sweet-citrusy taste of the panna cotta and the refreshing white. All in all, I could feel every ounce of attention and love poured into every dish, and we were very, very happy campers by the end of our dinner experience. Thank you to Roots & Water for hosting, as well as the chefs and sommeliers for curating an all-around beautiful experience. We hope to be back soon for some wine tastings!

We also tried the steak, which was perfectly cooked to our desired temperature (medium rare), but was otherwise pretty simply prepared, served atop steak sauce. And we also tried the burrata which came as two small pieces of toasted bread, juicy burrata and charred broccoli (also a simple but satisfying dish). All of the dishes are pretty small, so you would probably need to order at least a handful for a couple to feel pretty satiated, but that makes it fun to try more wine at the same time ;) We were curious about the pork belly, which the owner proclaimed to another guest that night to be "her favorite item on the menu."
