I recently requested a free estimate for a property in East Quogue which required extensive tree…read morework. There were several dead and dying trees, and the remaining trees on the property hadn't been trimmed back for a good 20 years. They were overgrown. Every tree on the property needed work: either removal or extensive pruning (20+ trees). These are tall, mature white oak, pine, and maple trees. I called several tree removal companies for estimates. Santos Hernandez not only promptly called me back within an hour, he scheduled the in person estimate appointment quickly. He gave an extremely fair and competitive quote for the job after meeting me at the property and seeing the scope of work. He promptly emailed the written estimate and certificates of insurance (liability and workers comp) for review after our meeting. He was courteous, knowledgeable and professional, and I immediately felt comfortable. (I can't say that for other companies that I felt were subtly trying to manipulate me). We accepted the quote and the job was scheduled very quickly. The 4 man crew showed up early (by 7:40 am) on the day of service and promptly started at 8 am. They were polite and extremely hard working. They worked the entire day until almost 4 pm and it was a flurry of chain saws, bucket trucks, and stump grinders- a HUGE job. They raked and cleaned up everything. They all were wonderful. You can tell they are experienced in what they do. They removed all the heavy branches overhanging the house. They checked with me as to where they could move a bucket truck during the work. They had to drive onto the lawn at points to be able to get to all the trees (which of course I didn't mind). I appreciated being asked. In summary, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company! Experienced, knowledgeable, efficient and they offer extremely fair prices! This is a family run company that takes pride in their work. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. If I could give them more than five stars I would! Thank you Hernandez Tree Care Service!!

His crew was just a pleasure to have on my property, where they trimmed back very tall arborvitae along both sides of my yard. I could not be more satisfied with how they handled the work, how polite & accommodating his crew was. Arborvitae trimming was perfect. Just to let you know how careful they were, I have hostas growing in beds stretching from one end of the arborvitae to the other, about 60 feet on both sides. When they were done trimming & cleaning up (great clean up job too), not one hosta was crushed or damaged. Take note of that because this trimming job was not easy. They were extremely careful. You want tree or shrub service done at your house. Benjamin at JIREH PROPERTY MAINTENANCE is the company to call, bar none!! They are now my "go to" company & I will us them again. Thanks Benjamin!!
