Im so happy I found Rejuvenate Austin and can't recommend them enough…read more I was looking for a reliable & trustworthy med spa to get some microneedling and neurotoxins done. Through some research and positive reviews, I found Rejuvenate. I bought a package of 3 for microneedling which was a VERY reasonable price, especially compared to other med spas in the area who are charge very high prices. I just finished my 2nd session and had to come here to sing my praises. Paloma, the esthetician who does my microneedling is so thorough, knowledgeable & caring. She does a great job during the treatment, and makes sure all my questions are answered pre & post treatment. I'm very pleased with my results so far!! Additionally, I've also seen Janel for dysport in-between my microneedling sessions and I feel the same way. She's is very thorough and knows what she is doing. Even when I'm done with my microneedling package I will continue to go back to Rejuvenate for all my medical spa needs!

Their entire team takes an extremely conservative, thoughtful approach to aesthetics -- the exact opposite of the pushy, "do more" mentality you see at so many other places. One of the things I appreciate most is how honest they are about expectations. They're fantastic at explaining what a treatment can realistically improve, and just as importantly, they'll tell you when you shouldn't do something. I've never once felt pressured, and they have never pointed out "flaws" or tried to upsell me. In fact, many times I've walked in thinking I'd do several things and walked out doing less because of their guidance -- and I always look better for it. Their prices are very reasonable, especially for the level of care and expertise they offer, and they frequently run great specials. The whole experience is consistently professional, ethical, and safe. If you want natural, healthy, beautifully subtle results from people who truly care about long-term outcomes and not sales, Rejuvenate Austin is the place. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

So not only was the experience bad but I now get to pay them twice and find time in their schedule to get back to them for a charge I didn't agree with. Yay. Austin has a shortage of dermatologists - it's the only reason I chose a company with low ratings.

Billing department is condescending, opaque, and completely unhelpful…read more My experience with Tru-Skin Dermatology--specifically their billing department--was appalling. Yesterday, I was placed on hold for over an hour and never spoke to anyone. No callback. No explanation. Today, I waited 45 more minutes on hold before finally reaching billing. I spoke with Rebecca, and the interaction was shockingly unprofessional. Rebecca spoke to me in an annoyed, condescending tone and repeatedly talked over me while I attempted to explain relevant background information. Instead of listening, she delivered a dismissive lecture about how Tru-Skin is "under contract with the insurance," I am "under contract with the insurance," and I am "under contract with Tru-Skin"--as if that somehow absolves the office of any responsibility to help a patient understand their bill. I was asking for help and clarity, not a legal monologue. Rebecca stated that only she could see the balance, yet she refused to review or explain the itemized charges, telling me I would have to wait 24 hours for an email instead. She was unwilling to explain a single charge on the call and offered zero resolution--no review, no escalation, no supervisor, no assistance of any kind. The message was clear: once they have your business, your questions and concerns do not matter. Excessive hold times, refusal to explain billing, and a dismissive, condescending attitude from the one person who supposedly "can see the balance" is unacceptable for any medical practice. Patients should not be treated like inconveniences for asking basic questions about what they are being charged. I am posting this to warn other patients, and I sincerely hope Tru-Skin's management reviews how their billing department treats people--because this experience reflects very poorly on the practice as a whole.

Sandy advised that she could enhance my jawline by adding more filler in my chin. Apparently, what I requested is known as the "Texas Jawline."" Texas Jaw Treatments typically use Hyaluronic Acid Fillers to reshape and strengthen your jawline. Fillers are injectable substances that are absorbed by the skin to instantly add volume and create a lifting effect. Some products also trigger the production of collagen, which is the main constituent of skin, bones, and ligaments. To achieve my desired look, Sandy recommended using Restylane lyft and Restylane define. When injected into the hands, Restylane Lyft reduces the appearance of sagging skin, making the tendons and bones of the hand less visible. The injection of hyaluronic acid also triggers the production of collagen, which naturally provides more structure to the skin for longer. Similar to other products listed in the previous review of services rendered here, results of this filer have been shown to last up to 1 year with Restylane Lyft in the cheeks; up to 6 months in facial wrinkles and folds, like nasolabial folds; and up to 6 months in the hands. Sandy is extremely meticulous when it comes to providing fillers and explaining what benefits may arise from using various fillers. While this, by far, is the most unpleasant feeling during the injection of all the fillers I have used in the past, the end result of the filler is probably the most noticeable (in a good way). Cost for three syringes this go around with discount $1,800. Total for treatment last week and this week for injectables/fillers $3,000
