There is no training you get a 4 hour PowerPoint of information crammed into one day that they won't go over with you again. They are constantly hiring every Thursday because they can't keep employees, be it problems with hours and them not giving their employees adequate hours or scheduling problems. Ive spoken with clients who stated how they'll send over replacements/ "fill ins" and never even bother to call them to let them know a new person is showing up. There is no care for caregivers or clients just a false sense of tutelage, trust, and benevolence. Their silver lining is that they try to shove faith, worship, god down your throat to cover up all their misdeeds thinking that a simple "we'll pray for you" is gonna fix anything. If you care about yourself or your loved ones you won't spend a second of your time or a cent here, there plenty of different companies and or routes to go but without a doubt on earth this place is overwhelmingly the most atrocious deplorable opti

Physical Therapy came once and I scheduled a second visit. Megan passed me on to someone else and she had to schedule a different day, that was fine. Day of appointment arrived and she needed to recschedule again for a few hours later. That was fine. Then time of appt came and she needed more time. I had another appointment so that time would not work for me. I asked to reschedule the following day and she never got back to me. Ivy said she was told I cancelled PT. Over a week later Megan text me and asked if she could come to my house an discharge me. I was at a dr appointment and would not have been home til late afternoon. She sent me a text saying I will do the discharge without seeing you. I was irritated and would just look for out patient PT. THEN I received an email that my visit summary was available online. I read the summary notes in shock. She said I agreed to discharge (did not) that I could walk for 10 minutes, stand for 20, past the chair test of getting up and down 11 times, that I was completely independent and did not need further assistance. None of this is true. Things like this really effect future care. Now I am fighting to have this erroneous report removed from my medical records. Would not reccommend this service unless you have no other options. Just stay on top of their reporting as it is very false.

They sent me two lists of 85 helpers per list and I called all and left messages on two days a month apart. Only eight calls were ever returned, four to say they already have full schedules and can't take on more clients and two calls from unvaccinated workers. Bottom line. THERE ARE NO VACCINATED HOME HEALTH CARE WORKERS AVAILABLE AND HAVEN'T BEEN SINCE I LAST WROTE ON ON 9/21. It is now 2/22. Can we agree this program is a FAILURE AND WASTE OF MONEY? Generous and kind contributors to the Project Independence Program, you are wasting your money by contributing to this program. I don't know if there are tax dollars involved also, but at 76, I have no help, no living family, multiple disabilities, a doctor who says "Do not let unvaxed people into your house", and no hope for the future. I don't know whether the problem at Sr & Dis is caused by lack of vaxed workers, run by people who don't care, whether there is not enough money in the project, or whether our country is doing its' best to promote genocide of disabled seniors.
