So when he seemed to have succeeded by indeed, introducing my new (new to me... It was an older "Magic Keyboard") keyboard that just had to recognize my iMac. He had to use an "adapter", his words... to get this done. I was very pleased and relieved and gladly gave him the $26 and change that he determined to be the damages. I get home and unpack the iMac and turn it on and my keyboard cannot recognize my computer! I call him and tell him my situation, and he responds with I am gonna have to get an adapter of some sort... I was aghast!!! You did this and apparently knew that it was not going to be a "fix" without said adapter and you charged me...?!!!! So I mull it over a wee bit and call them back and get another staff member. I ask if I could use the $26 as a credit to a key board that they had for sale for $89? She responds that her manager is out for the day, "off the clock", and she cannot get this question satisfied until "tomorrow". I went in to the Longview wa store a few weeks ago for help with my phone. The Representative told me she could help me lower my bill with my very same plan it was now cheaper...I was leery so I asked her three times "are you sure this is the same plan" she promised me the only difference was it had some kind of spam call blocker and was 25.00 cheaper that was it. So I agreed. Soon after all 4 phones weren't Connecting to hotspot. I went and complained and they told me they were very sorry they had just forgot to turn them on..we got them turned on and for the 1st time ever I ran out of hotspot...I called they somehow talked me into 10.00 more a month and told me I should be set on this new plan that was the very same as my old one. This morning I woke up to no hotspot again. I called to try to buy more and they said I couldn't buy anymore for any amount of money I was absolutely out until June 11th. I asked how this could happen when I never had this problem before I changed my plan. After looking he told me I had Unlimited hotspot before. But that was a old plan I was Grandfathered into and I can't get it back. Working my way up the line hours later I finally got ahold of the CEO of the Complaint line. He told me I was out of luck and offered me a small one time credit and a additional 10.00 credit a month for a year to Compensate me. I ask "how is this Compensating?" Something was taken from me by False advertisement that I can't even buy back... He told me he felt he was being completely fair...I would bet if he was out of his "hotspot" for the next 11days he could figure out how to turn it back on. So much for 30 year of Loyalty.. I

Nate was professional, had great communication and was upfront with diagnoses, repairs and costs. Unfortunately, the hard drive was not salvageable, but Nate gave me additional options for possible retrieval. I did have them install a new SSD to replace the old disc drive. Everything worked fine with new SSD. I'd recommend Mad Genius and Nate for all Apple/Mac repairs as they are friendly, knowledgeable and specialize in Macs.
