Our boy was sick and vomiting and my son in law called the vet. Dr Ross is the veterinarian Brutus sees. The vet saw our animal immediately and determined by X-ray that he had an intestinal blockage- a sure death sentence without immediate intervention. Having an animal in this situation is very daunting. We were all concerned and tearful. This is a major surgery after all. Dr Ross performed the surgery immediately after the blockage was discovered and removed the blockage. Brutus had swallowed a whole toy! Dr Ross saved his life! I'm told the vet also called to update the owners right after surgery and kept them apprised of his demeanor and progress. The surgery was a success and our animal was carefully monitored to make sure he could hold food down. He was released the day after surgery to his loving family. They sent the owners home with several special meals for Brutus so he can heal. The vet office gave specific instructions and medication to take home too. I am grateful to all the drs, staff and administration at Schwenksville Veterinary Hospital. The site offers radiology, surgery center and aftercare all right there. Thank God because time was of the essence in this perilous situation. My son in law has been very happy with B's care even before this happened. The staff loves Brutus and have hearts overflowing w compassion. I'm personally grateful to Dr Ross & Dr Anna who checked on him and gave him loving care. I'm very grateful to the entire staff. He recently installed a full overhaul for us, after help us make our very old system last way longer than it should have for the past 1.5 years. The new system (2 AC units + 2 heating units) were installed in under a week. We did the install during the hottest week of the summer and he made sure that we didn't have AC outage on either floor for more than a day and we were up and running before we left. We have lived in our house now for 4 years and our house has NEVER held the temp that we set it to (if we had it set to 70 we would be lucky if it would get to 72). It is holding now and nice and COLD. I found Pat via good reviews on google two winters ago when our heater broke in the middle of the winter and the company who I was contracted with told me they would be out in 2 weeks...meanwhile I had a baby at the time and could not be without heat for 2 weeks. He was there the same day and fixed the unit for me that the other company said I needed totally replaced. As mentioned above, he has been helping us tie the old machine over for a while and never pressured us to upgrade, just provided us with all of our options. This place was not only perfect, it's almost made for families. First, the staff that I met there were maybe the NICEST golf course attendees that I've ever met. Went out of his way to explain every little detail of the course. Made us feel comfortable with bringing our child - it didn't feel like an inconvenience for them, more like they WELCOMED it. This meant so much to us. Second, it's a perfect place for families and beginners. No tee times needed, 12 holes (shorter round) with 10 of them being par 3s. Most people walked. We didn't for obvious reasons and was thankful that they had carts. Definitely something we'll come back to as the children get older!

My husband and I recently placed an order for some BBQ and it was really delicious. We found this business on Yelp Philly's Black-Owned Businesses Collection and I am so happy we decided to give them a try. They are currently offering BBQ style take out on Saturdays which is perfect since we have jumped right into summer. We ordered two platters: BBQ chicken and BBQ pulled pork, and each of them came with two sides. For the first platter, he decided on Mac and cheese and potato salad and I chose coleslaw and Mac and cheese for the second platter. The food was delicious. The pulled pork was really flavorful and I loved the smoky taste it had to it. I'm a big fan of coleslaw and have tried tons of different kinds so I'm happy to say that I fully approve of theirs. The finely shredded cabbage tasted fresh and had a nice crunch to it, and the dressing wasn't overly creamy. The Mac and cheese was simple but good. I tried a bite of the chicken my husband got and it was also great but I am definitely in favor of the pulled pork! Sodiah, who is the owner, told me they're known for their ribs so maybe we'll try that next time! In addition to the tasty food, I was impressed with the streamlined ordering process. The entire ordering and pick up process was done through Sodiah who was professional, helpful, and friendly. After I called to place my order, she sent me a text message confirming my food selections, the price, and the pick up date and time. She also sent me thorough instructions explaining that due to Covid-19, I should call when I get there, remain in my vehicle, and they would bring the food out to me. I was given the option to pay with cash, credit card, CashApp, or Venmo. I chose Venmo and this further confirmed that there was absolutely no contact! I'm so excited to have discovered this place and look forward to future pick ups. Follow the business on Instagram for updated information and the weekly menu - @snbeventconcepts. :)

From the first email to the days following the event she and her team were unendingly professional, courteous, and pleasant. She responded very quickly to emails with detail changes. I was particularly impressed with how much time and attention she gave us, both at our initial meeting at her office and later on for a walk-through of our outdoor reception site. She offered lots of extremely helpful information from her experience with weddings that allowed us to avoid numerous pitfalls up to and during the reception. All in all, we 100% recommend S&B, especially for young wedding newbies like ourselves. Yelp review readers, take note: S&B currently has six "not recommended" reviews at the bottom of its page. I disagree with this (likely automated) choice by Yelp and encourage prospective clients to consider these reviews as well, especially since they only add to the chorus of praise for S&B.

The event I went to I don't think in my lifetime I will ever attend an equal or more exquisite party. This even was to commemorate and celebrate Robert Ryan Catering & Design's 25 years of successful business. I was completely "wowed" from beginning til the party's end. I know my mouth was hanging open many times, as I continued to be surprised with even more decadence as the evening drew on. There were searchlights radiating through the sky drawing us to the splendid Columbia Station for starters. Upon arrival valet parking. At the entrance was a beautiful woman in stilts dressed in a Hollywood Art Deco outfit with full feathered fans. On either side of her servers presented each guest with long stemmed pink champagne. Beyond that was a celebrity style photo booth. The food- all of the food stations were high lit with floor to ceiling (almost!) menu boards, in this transformed train station. The food was the utmost quality, my fave were the enormous sea scallops wrapped in bacon with raspberry sauce. Ohhhh yeah! That's Robert Ryan, taking a classic favorite and creatively enhancing it beyond expectations. There was sushi made to order, an amazing raw bar with seafood served in an elegant ice sculpture. There were hot food appetizers and a sampling of Chinese food served in traditional Chinese take out containers. The venue was made to look like a high class NYC VIP club. Gorgeous cabana, incredible lighting, sleek tables with lovely understated fresh flower centerpieces with candles. I could go on forever! If you don't just want a catered meal, hire Robert Ryan. They create an entire EXPERIENCE. They are the masters of their craft. 25 years in business and it's easy to see why they have excelled when so many other caterers are marginal or failing at best.

He was genuinely sorry and I appreciated his earnestness in making me feel like I was heard and making me feel better. I am honestly regretful for being so harsh in my previous review. As a bride you expect your wedding to be perfect but what you learn is that nothing will ever turn out perfect. The most you can hope for is that you convey your expectations specifically and work with your vendors to prevent any lapse in communication. I realize now that there were misunderstandings, on both our parts. Like I mentioned in the previous review, I had chosen Philander Chase Knox because it was the perfect location for my rustic wedding. The venue is located inside Valley Forge National Park and is gorgeous. Working with Leigh during the wedding planning was wonderful (she is very patient and takes the time to take you through each step of planning) and the tasting at Robert Ryan was great. The quality and the deliciousness of the food was noted by all our guests. Some of them have said it was the best wedding food they've ever had! All the food set out was impeccably done and there was ample food for all my guests. The cake from Master's Baker is also amazing. I'm sorry I let my emotions override the positive aspects of having my wedding at Philander Chase Knox because there were many. I would recommend to definitely take a tour, book a tasting (you will not regret it!) and meet with Leigh to ask any questions or concerns you may have.
