As a long time (25 year) Verizon customer, I never thought I would switch, but after talking to Daniel C and finding out how great the network is on AT&T I decided to make the change and I'm so glad! My service is wonderful, and Daniel is so knowledgeable! He gave me so much information. I was stunned by his expertise! He's a new rep and with his knowledge you would think he'd been working for AT&T his whole life! If anyone is looking to make any kind of change or purchase any accessories or upgrade a phone, I would absolutely send them to Daniel! He's intelligent and sincere and never pushy! I've never experienced customer service so poor. The salesman sold me on a good price but I never saw it in my bill! And in trying to solve the issue, I lost many hours on the phone waiting on hold and getting the runaround. a whole scam there customer service is a waste of time . I bought a phone off of Facebook marketplace locked didn't realize it I contacted att and they said they can't do anything about it unless I have the account password then pay it off I don't recommend att to anyone . If you like a place where shady activity goes down and the costumer is never right, this is the place for you. 3 years coming here thinking it would be different but guaranteed bad service everytime. Sales rep was high. Preferred to make stuff up rather than give real information. Tried to charge an extra five dollars a month then what you can get online for a phone (saying I was getting a deal) and said they were selling me an iPhone 11 but then came out with an iPhone 12, trying to write up an order for it without me knowing that's what was going on. (Which I think is illegal) Could have been a simple mistake but then when asked could they bring out an 11, he went back for 20 minutes, came out then said, they didn't have any and they couldn't order one for me online. Asked to see a manager, and was told they were in a meeting. 20 minutes later, a very rude passive aggressive woman, who I learn later is notorious in reviews, named Morgan (refused to identify themselves further even though that's against company policy), started saying how impossible it is and how I should switch providers and that even though I had wasted an hour there, it was okay because "it is important that I be familiar with my plan". My mother who was there also dropped money and was trying to get it back from a store attendant but Morgan had "checked the footage" and saw it wasn't hers. Was Morgan in a meeting or was she checking footage? Why couldn't she leave the meeting and come back to it after dealing with a costumer? My money is that they tried to wait you out and smoke a bowl in the meantime. I don't care what the truth is, I don't like you, lord of the flies style. I ended up going to a different atnt store and had zero issue getting a phone. I will most likely write a good review for them as they are a ten minute drive away. Corporate doesn't care and won't step in even though it makes the entire company look bad and I guarantee they are losing providers from this specific store. I blame bad management. read more

My son broke his phone, so he and I went in to get him a new upgrade. The salesman was helpful, and he connected well with my son. After my son picked out his new phone the salesman asked me about my CATV service at home. He then proceeded to tell me about DIRECTV STREAM, and informed me that I am eligible for 2 free weeks of DIRECTV STREAM. He told me to take the box home for 2 weeks, and if I didn't want it I can return the box within those 2 weeks to cancel. I thanked him for the offer, but told him that I was not interested in the free offer. He persisted to tell me to take it for the 2 weeks, and by this time I was getting annoyed by his high pressure tactic. I again refused the box and told him I just wanted the phone. He told me that he understood, but because it was a free offer I had to take it. He then told me to leave in my vehicle if I didn't want to try it, but it had to leave with me. He apologized and said that it was their policy. Reluctantly, I took the stream box and the new phone and left. 3 days later I returned with my son's old phone (I had to take it home to fix the screen before I could trade it in for a rebate), and I brought the stream box in with me as well. I returned the box to the floor supervisor and he credited my account for the security deposit I paid 3 days prior. He also assured me that everything would be cancelled. I explained how I felt pressured to take the box in the first place, and that I disagreed with their policy about taking it. He explained that the salesman might've misunderstood the policy and that he was going to talk with him. Well, here we are 2 weeks later and my bank account got charged $74 for DIRECTV Stream, and when I called the store to inquire about it, the same salesman I dealt with before told me that I needed to wait a few days for a rebate. When I hung up the phone I called DIRECTV Stream directly and talked with them. The woman on the phone told me that my account was never cancelled and that I was going to continue being charged $74/month for a service I didn't even want...although she did confirm that the equipment was returned unopened. She ended up cancelling everything for me and issuing the $74 refund that I never should've been charged for in the first place. To wrap up my review, I would say that the customer service is nice when they are taking your money, but they are too high pressure to push for you to get more than you wanted. read more

The store manager and Nasir were extremely helpful and patient. They listened to my list of issues and called the district manager to resolve. The manager promised he will take care of it, just give them some time. I drove an extra 30 minutes to get the kind of customer service I always get at this location. I would like to give them negative stars to go along with my time wasted at this store today. I knew I was in trouble when I walked in to find a nearly empty store, only two customers, yet I still had to wait for a customer service rep. Eventually a sevice rep came out of the back and logged me. Then instead of assisting me he returned to the locked area of the store. A few minutes later a young man with a teenage punk attitude came out and spent more time telling me why he couldn't do what I wanted than it would have taken to do what I asked. I finally asked for a manager, but after a waiting 5 more minutes decided I wasted enough time. I never did hear from anyone from that location. I went to a different location. Walked out with the phone I wanted and all the data transfered from the old phone to the new. read more

I took my phone in to this store last night since I wanted to have a dialer feature removed which another ATT employee at another store installed. I said that the dialer which came with the phone wasn't working. I wanted to see about other options for dialing out since the dialer installed at the other store does not let one answer the phone when it rings nor see who called. The young female ATT employee with purple hair in Pottstown removed the dialer but did not put it back on, leaving me to do it. Then she asked me who my cable provider was ... I was astonished at how she screwed me over on my phone then tried to sell me something. The manager came to her defense too. Really BAD all around. I can't even call a friend to say how bad ATT Pottstown is thanks to this employee! read more

I entered the store and only one man was helping customers. There were several employees behind a locked door that I had to knock on to get service. I informed the smug employee that some other smug employee sold me an iphone charge sync cable when I handed him my android. I purchase over one hundred dollars in peripherals that night and Khurram Ghazali was totally APATHETIC. He said because my husband lost my receipt and I am not a customer he refuses to exchange an unopened product that clearly says AT&T on it. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS DEAD IN 2015 :( I am a famous published author and DEMAND A REFUND OR I WILL SUE YOU!!! I am meeting with my attorney tomorrow and will show him this in case you respond with anything other than a promise to undue your highly unconscious employees damage to me...cannot believe this Khurram is an assistant manager?! read more

AT&T Store - Mobile Phones Near Me - Pottstown, Pennsylvania

Went in to buy 2 new phones and a tablet, found out the insurance payment was increased by 68 dollars Ontop of 100, expressed concern, the manager came over and I explained fervently, he says please leave or I call the police. This kid has zero managerial skills, no ability at all to deal with customers, then tried to act tough, Confrontational and clearly don't want to help. I would suggest using a different store as these people were chickens with their heads cut off. read more

We have had three loathsome experiences in the last two years with this particular store. Most recently, Manager Morgan ( who withheld her last name ) tried to defend her clerk's weird position that the store could not provide an iPhone being promoted by their corporate office. This was after taking all of our information to write up a contract after 40 minutes. Suddenly, we were being told no phones were available. The clerk attempted, on the sly, to substitute a more expensive phone and get my son to commit to its purchase. Manager Morgan was called and engaged in deceitful behavior, including an attempt to gaslight us when we complained that coming to the store had been a waste of time. I reported the problems to corporate, but I see Morgan is the RE openly of several bad reviews extending back for several months. Obviously, ATT doesn't really care. I wrote a negative review and posted it on the ATT website, but it doesn't appear. Anyway, it's easier to drive a few extra miles to other ATT stores than it is to endure Manager Morgan and her minions. Avoid this store and save yourself some craziness. read more

We bought two cell phones and a direct TV package. We were told how much our monthly bill would be and it was 62 dollars more than what the quoted. We went back and they said it would be fixed and only got worse.we had really bad customer service and felt like we were lied to everything we went there. They still give us the run around . They just keep lying to us leaving us to pay higher prices and cancellation fees . We felt slimed . Stay away from this store! read more
