I switched from Sprint, thinking that their customer service was poor, but I've found tmobile is a few steps below Sprint and I wish that I hadn't made the switch. I will also say that I've never hand so many dead zones with any other cell company that I've been with while traveling in Utah. Today we went to add two lines (son and new daughter in law) one of them a move from another account in Tmobile. It took us over 45 minutes, eight phone calls (2 dropped calls) and as many different people to do, what I assume isn't a new request for this phone company. So, we arrived at this Tmobile location while still trying to get 'customer service' when the customer representative (strange misnomer) informed us that we were standing in one of their stores. Apparently they (both the people on the phone and within the store) failed to see the irony in this. I was angry, frustrated and puzzled by how difficult a task it was for us to add a couple of lines to our account. The manager of this location sat in the corner, avoiding eye contact and keeping his distance. I get that I was an upset customer, but I don't get why there seemed to be so little effort to help us feel valued after running their gauntlet of redundant procedures and misinformation. Bytw, we never got to tackling the phone for our daughter in law...and this after 1 1/2 of shifting phone calls and jumping through all their hurdles. I am not happy with this company.

    I visited this store twice on Friday, March 24, 2017, and was not impressed…read more My family is looking to switch plans and I decided to visit Verizon to see what they could do. I stopped by at around 2:00 P.M. and it was busy. I was promptly greeted, explained that I was in the market for a new plan, and was put in the queue but never told how long I could expect to wait. After about 20 minutes, I told the gentleman who greeted me that I needed to get back to work but would return later than night. When I returned, the store had settled down and I was promptly greeted by a salesman and asked questions. I explained my current family plan, our needs going forward, and asked for options. The salesmen quoted me something like $190 for 4 lines, unlimited phone and data. I showed him an offer from T-Mobile but he wouldn't match it or offer anything to compensate. The phones were even more expensive. He tried to tell me that by charging more Verizon could put that money back into improving its network (as if). He wouldn't even waive the activation fees, which T-Mobile would also do. Verizon just didn't offer any compelling reason to sign up, which is fine. The real reason for my low review is because in the middle of our conversation, another Verizon employee interrupted us and asked the salesman helping me various questions on behalf of his customer. My salesman was pulled away for a few minutes to help this other customer. I found this to be a bit rude and inconsiderate of my time.
