This review is for this particular location and not so much AT&T. I've been an AT&T customer for about 3 years now. Typically when I'm in the market for a new phone I jump carriers looking for the best deal on the latest technology. It was time for an upgrade and this time I decided to stick with this carrier just to avoid the headache of switching carriers. I'm old school and still like to go into the stores and talk to a real person and touch the product I am looking for. We walked into this store for the first time and noticed it was completely empty except for the 3 employees working inside. This is the complete opposite of their other location in Pearland which is always busy with lots of customers inside. I was happy to see it, but it didn't seem like anyone was enthused to help a customer. The employee that did help us was definitely trying to get us in and out of there. He told me I could have just done it online. He got our numbers, asked us what we wanted and told us it will be mailed to us. It was clear that if I didn't ask questions, he wasn't giving any more information than he needed to. I found it very off putting and just paid and left. Next time I will definitely be visiting the busier location because I feel like the staff there was willing to talk and be more helpful with service requests. read more

Siana or T from this location was the worst worker in customer service I have ever interacted with in my life. We went on Saturday, January 3 2026. First I was working with Diego and he told me that they had the phone we were looking for in stock and she told us they don't without even checking after I had to drive home 15 mins away to reset my apple password. In that time she told me they sold out because they had "hella customers" within that short timeframe. Me and my son were the only ones with her in the store and she said I was giving her an attitude so she would not Help us, took her laptop and walked away from us. I called every AT&T surrounding Houston areas and was able to get assistance letting me know if something was in stock as soon as I called today Monday, the Pearland location. The lady on the phone was completely rude. Wouldn't tell me if anything was in stock said it was company policy And said everyone else wasn't following it. Went in tonight to get a new phone for my wife. The person helping us was new and needed help, when he asked the manager for help he was talked down to every time. It was very unprofessional. If you check in on yelp you get 15% off an accessory. That was great because we planned on getting a case and a car charger. When it came time to check out they needed to get approval from the bosses boss to get the 15% taken off. Couldn't get him on the phone to approve the discount. Just a tip -- If you are going to have a special discount offer for yelp users -- let the staff know how to apply it! If you really need an AT&T Store, skip this one....it's a mess! read more

I came in here to inquire about an upgrade but soon began talking about hotspots as I've been thinking about getting the Nighthawk hotspot/router for some time. The employee told me that I could add the Nighthawk hotspot to my plan for $20. I explained that "I already have 1 additional device on my plan, so I don't think I can add another". He explained that I could add it, just like my iPad had been added, unlimited for $20 a month, however I would need to buy the device elsewhere since they never have them in stock. Thinking this was a great deal I immediately headed to Best Buy, forked out $216 for the router and headed to the nearest AT&T store (10420 Broadway). Of course, that store informed me that I could not add ANY hotspot to my plan at all and that any hotspot requires a whole new plan they'd be happy to set me up on; $20 for 10GB (seeing how my monthly total is around 128GB, this was not an option). I'd like to find a carrier that doesn't making their myriad of plans so unnecessarily complicated that their employees can't figure it out. They continually make false promises regarding plans that change every month. I spend over $200 just to find out that they have no idea what plans and options they actually offer. read more

We went in really undecided on what phones we wanted to trade into, we were leaving Verizon and going back to ATT. Dashawn helped us and he was great. These things take a bit to transfer phones over etc but it wasn't a horribly boring time because he was fun ... he also helped another customer but didn't just abandon us. Everything was smooth and easy. We must have gone in at a good time because it was not super busy in there or crowded, I think it was around 1pm on a Sunday. Well it's 10:01. The store is dark. They say they open at 10. More than typical of this store. Guess it shows the importance of location. Management issue for sure. The store opened at 10:05 and they system was down. I asked the guy working why they were late open and he replied with a shoulder shrug. Then when I said they have the worst reviews on yelp he stated that there are other ATT stores. Holy cow. Soooo bad. I have emailed manager. Doubt I get a response. They don't seem to care. So sad. So I go back after a short run to Lowe's. Amazingly the system is up. However no displays out. He goes to the back. Gets the displays. I select my new phone... sold out (which is my fault for going in the day after Christmas). Poorly run store tho. read more

Worst customer service I have ever seen. First, the salesman didn't offer any information to answer my questions about the new Apple Watch. That should have been my first clue to leave. He somehow convinced me to buy what he had in stock. When I asked about looking into my bill and paying some other things off he said he had to do the purchase first. Made the sale then helped someone else and never addressed my questions on my bill. Went down the street to an actual AT&T store purchased the watch I wanted and In the color I wanted. Came back to return the watch and the salesman made it very clear I was paying $45 to return it. I said that's fine again he walked away and had someone else do the return. He questioned the other salespersons return as if he wasn't doing it correctly but never came over to help. Smh... I'll never be back here. read more

AT&T, I have never encountered more horrible service in my entire life. You all are constantly emailing me and texting me to survey you all because customer satisfaction is your "top priority" and yet, I have received the most ridiculous and repugnant customer service. Read below and tell me you wouldn't be pissed off. I called you all on July 18th to initiate a plan to gain internet service. (Not by choice, Xfinity does not service this area). I specifically spoke with Efren Huerta. I was told that I my internet would be installed on July 23rd from 8am-12pm. (See attachment) Literally the day before the technician was suppose to arrive, I get a call from some woman telling me that y'all having an outage or some BS and can't NOBODY come until July 29th. Obviously pissed off, but trying to be reasonable, I say "Okay, please email me with confirmation of my next installation appointment." The woman never sent a thing or emailed me. All she did was cancel my appointment. (Interesting she can cancel an appointment but not set another one up. Hmph.) I called back on Friday, July 26th, a man told me I had no appointment and all he see is a cancelled appointment. As if I cancelled it my damn self. SO.. yeah I'm mad. This man tells me, I have to wait until August 2nd, I refused to accept that because that would be 2 weeks of no service. I have shit to do. I have a whole legal job. Work needs to get done and your employees have been trying to make your issues mine. What's going on with your company is YOUR issue to fix. Not to be pushed off on customers. So again, faced with no choice, I accept another delayed appointment, this time for Wednesday, July 31st. After having issues with the technician coming out, someone finally came. (Craig Patton) He comes, installs the internet in less than 20 minutes and leaves. Ten minutes after he leaves. No more service. Once again, let down. I call him back to see what went wrong, to which he told me he would look into the matter, but of course, never heard from him again. I called AT&T support, followed the steps TEN times over the phone and the prompts on your website. NO SERVICE. So a different woman tells me that another technician would need to come out, and the earliest that they can come out is Monday, August 5th. I mean seriously. It sounded like a joke to me because I've been waiting and waiting and WAITING. I should be a TOP PRIORITY customer. The fact that I've been going back forth with your staff since July 18th and it is now August 1st, is completely unacceptable. The fact that it takes this damn long to get INTERNET, is unacceptable. I can't even imagine if I wanted cable or a phone line set up. Your staff have belittled me and pushed off my service for far too long. I HAVE never endured more horrible service in my entire life. To add further insult to injury, they repeatedly mispronounce my name after several corrections, and even misspelled it on my account. Someone needs to come and fix this. I AM TIRED of going back and forth with you all. SICK OF IT. My job has been comprised, my mental peace has been comprised, and my patience with you all is GONE. This is unacceptable and disgusting treatment. I will not be paying the $99 installation and I'm not paying for the first month of service. I have seen an AT&T service truck every single day since I moved in at this damn apartment, and yet "no one is available." SOMEBODY LYING. I'm so disappointed in Xfinity for not serving my area because I'm being forced to incompetent service. The whole company trash. I do not recommend. Ever. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a cell phone store. We had two people trying to help us with our phones. We had three phones to activate. They barely spoke and didn't offer any answers to our questions when we asked something. They did give us condescending looks every now and then like our questions were ignorant. Ask for PHOENIX, he was amazing! Edwin was very helpful on a previous visit but Phoenix knew immediately what I needed & how to fix it even tho att tech support did NOT offer much help. I wasted around 4 hours on online bots, tech support & in att corporate store (this one) with problems porting my old number from att TO verizon (neither company was helpful much less proactive). Att tech support gave a "this should work in theory" last option...in this store, Phoenix made it work immediately. Thank u so much! Btw in my experience, this store was open as posted and professional despite prev reviews. I left att since they kept raising prices and with a cracked screen yet otherwise fine phone, would only give $45 trade in vs a $1000 trade in at verizon. I would stay away from this AT&T they are horrible! I ordered an Apple Watch from online and they were the only ones that had it in stock. I drove from spring area to get the watch. I made a mistake when I ordered the watch online I made a mistake and upgraded a current line and did not add a line. The att rep shamed me because I didn't know what I was doing. She immediately told me that I would have to pay a $45 restocking fee because the watch was no longer usable. I went to another AT&T store on cypresswood and they took back the watch with no restocking fee and ordered a replacement. Stay away from this AT&T as they are not corporately owned and will try to get every penny from your pockets instead of giving good customer service. I have learned my lesson and will never visit here or any authorized AT&T retailer again! read more

I agree with all of the negative reviews that are on here for this particular store. I experienced horrible customer service. When I walked in the three salespeople looked at me like, "What do you want?" One finally asked what I was there for. I told her that wanted to pay my cell phone bill. Apparently now with new system that can't give you your balance so I just paid from memory. Then I proceeded to ask the about plans members of AARP. The young lady didn't know what is we and other to guys, who were just sitting there on their company IPADS just looked at both of us crazy. I told them that's ok because apparently you are not here to work today. Then I turned around and walked out. Nobody said hold on let us check it out for you or nothing. I went in to the location expecting the worse ever customer service, I've read several reviews on this place one even included a "stupid fat black girl lied to him" but i decided to give it a shot anyway and I'm beyond pleased with the service I received. I was greeted before I could even get into the store good and so happen it was by Tanea the only female at the location (who happens to also be of African American descent) she was very well mannered and knowledgeable. She helped me purchase my new iPhone 11 assisted me with setting it up and transferring all of my data. I'd like to assume anyone making negative reviews did not get their way or are simply grumpy unhappy people. As for myself I will definitely be back in to this location to make any purchases whether it's accessories or phones. I would give this store negative stars if possible. Literally the worst AT&T store I have ever been to. Before it opened I would go to the Friendswood location but this one just so happens to be closer. First time I went in they promised they were getting my bill lower all why getting a new phone. The bill comes and it's a $200 increase. Go back and even though it's their fault apparently there's nothing they can do and the manager tries to put the blame on me. Second time I went there was for a simple SIM card change. Well guess what, apparently they don't do that at that location. What a joke. Went back to the Friendswood location not only did they get my simple request fulfilled they fixed my billing issue that the other store said there's nothing they can do. I don't know why I ever gave this store a opportunity the employees at the Friendswood location have always been so helpful no matter how big or small the issue has been, that will be my permanent store I go to now.
