Dropped my phone on a hiking trail nearby and saw this wireless repair station nearby so I took a chance and asked the guy to replace my glass. Paid him upfront $40 for the glass replacement (labor + materials) and was told it would take a day to complete. Several days went by and I asked about the status. According to the guy, there seemed to be a design flaw (software issued) that prevented the phone from powering up. Did not believe the excuse, I asked for my phone back and took it to https://www.ubreakifix.com/ off 400 W Bay Area Blvd Suite H. They examined the phone and told me the motherboard was toast. The phone was working perfectly when I dropped it off as it operated fine minus the broken glass on the screen. He would not take responsibility on frying the motherboard and sat on it for days giving me excuse after excuse. I had the motherboard replaced by the other guys and the phone now works. read more
