I've been to 2 different businesses to repair my phone screen and replace my battery. This business was recommended because it was cheap, half the cost of a previous business that I used so I decided to give it a try. John replaced the swollen battery of my iPhone and it's been working fine so far. I also went back the next day for him to replace my hubby's battery too and glue on the screen that was a bit separated from the phone. My hubby had to take it back the next day because the Touch ID stopped working. John was able to fix it at no extra charge. John is friendly and has great customer service. My mother and I came by earlier today because she needed her iPhone 6+ screen fixed. We called before we went in looking for the location since they just moved from a mobile store into an official building space. We had a hard time looking for it since google maps was not updated, I assume one of the store owners, came outside the store to show us where they were. Once we were inside we were nicely greeted :) and the process was quick in my opinion. Their prices were great and they also offered a free screen protector for my mom. Not only that, they also had our phones cleaned through UV lights! I also need a new phone case since my case was being held together with tape, the one I bought was only $10 and I liked simplicity of it. While we were waiting for our phones to finish being cleaned, one of the store owners offered to put my new case on my phone and he offered us a bottle of water :)). It's never my intention to speak negatively about a small business. For the most part, The Phone Plug has great customer service and really kind employees. However, the screen they used for my phone stopped working within 2 weeks. I went back to them to see if I could use the warranty, and of course the answer was no. The screen doesn't really work, and it isn't responsive to touch. I didn't drop my phone or spill anything on it. I also purchased a case and screen protector from them, so my phone was covered. After being told it wouldn't be covered under warranty, they offered to replace it for $80. When I told him no thanks, he went to the back to put my phone back together, and it came back even more damaged than before. I took my phone back and left the store. I honestly should have just went to Apple, from the beginning because I would have spent less, but decided to come here because of the positive reviews. read more
