In a world where its difficult to find any level of customer service, I found this business to be top notch. I was looking to get my severely cracked Samsung phone screen replaced. I found them through a Yelp search of vendors where they bulk messaged my issue and I waited for responses. I received a prompt response from Jon, the owner, with pricing and estimated time to repair. He ordered the screen and less than a week later the screen arrived. My repair did not go as planned. Two visits and a few hours later what was an iPad with white-framed cracked glass is now an iPad with noticeably inferior black-framed glass that flexes and sounds of grating glass and a Home button that is permanently pressed. The owner did provide a refund however but not after I texted him with my concerns but rather after I posted my honest (negative) review of my experience. It then seemed that he was more interested in the elimination of the negative review than doing what it takes to reverse a negative customer experience. Honestly providing good customer service would actually do far more his business. Bad things do happen, but concentrating one's efforts on masking those situations rather than going well above and beyond to rectify them is bad business. In my business, what I've done in similar situations is refund the customer's money (because they didn't get what they paid for) AND solve the problem correctly or arrange for that to happen. Yes that would mean on this transaction there would be a modest financial loss, but without doing this the loss would be on the customer's end - a loss of time. That's not acceptable. When something goes wrong in a business transaction a good business does EVERYTHING they can to make it right for the customer. A mere refund is a given. A truly good business, one that is legitimately interested in customer service would see that without being told and then show their true value with how much they offer to do beyond that. Here, there was a bad experience that was actually followed by another, thus the TWO visits and a need for a THIRD since the iPad remains in a state a disrepair. The refund had to be requested and was only provided upon the discovery of negative reviews. No plausible solutions were offered. Sorry, that just won't cut it. read more

Someone sat on my son's iPad Air. I brought it around to a couple of shops locally in the San Jose, CA area. No one would touch it. They all said that with a bent housing it was not repairable. I was determined to find some way to fix it. I googled around and found Jon's video on YouTube. I contemplated trying the repair myself, but figured for the minimal shipping cost, I would roll the dice and see if he could fix it. I emailed the shop and he was great about communicating how to send the tablet and where to send it. I spoke to him on the phone briefly to confirm everything. Roughly $220 and a few business days later, I get what appears to be a completely new unit. Jon told me there were some minor imperfections, but I can't see them. Bottom line, I'm super satisfied and would highly recommend that anyone with a bent tablet other repair shops say can't be fixed should call Jon. read more

I went off all the other reviews but apparently they weren't reliable enough because my experience with this place was no good at all Went in for a cracked screen NO WATER DAMAGE just dropped phone ended up with several other issues so that's what they told me I paid over $300 in repairs waited ten days to get my phone fixed as soon as I got home the touch sensor wasn't working (he said that was repaired as well) and he said he would charge me $20 to come back and fix it after I paid over $300 in repairs you would think he would be a little reasonable and fix it since he did say that it was fixed. One month later the screen started coming loose at the top with a otter box case on and eventually cracked at the top NO DROPPING what so ever I emailed them several times since supposedly there's a 90 day warranty and I haven't got any type of response I have given them time to respond before leaving this review it's really frustrating when I was actually spending my money with them he was prompt in response but when I started having issues and was emailing in reference to the so called warranty nobody responded. I don't recommend them go to Apple to get your phone fixed or if someone tells you your phone has several "other" issues then take that as a warning. And take your business elsewhere read more

I dropped by this shop to have a iPhone screen fixed. I was greeted by the owner who was very nice. He told me it would take about 1 hour. Came back and unfortunately he wasn't able to fix due to iPhone blocking measures to prevent repairs from anyone other than from iPhone (total racket by Apple) however the owner was extremely helpful and and didn't charge a dime even though he spent additional time trying to make it work. Small hole in the wall up some stairs across from HEB. Quick service that was done expertly and not too expensive. He was able to do the repair in less than 20 minutes (his quoted time) and he accepted payment through square. Might want to bring something to read, as there isn't anything in the waiting room but chairs and a TV, but other than that, an excellent place. My cracked 5s screen was replaced for a little over $100; much cheaper than replacing and most other repair places. Support local business! read more
