My phone wasn't charging correctly and the kind gentleman at MobileMax quickly cleaned it out and resolved the issue!

The guy snatch the phone from my son hand. They have the credit cards logo on the front door. Once he changed the battery in the phone, I went to pay with my credit card and he said they only take debit or cash. I pointed to the logos on the window which represented credit cards, and he said no those represent credit or debit for your bank card. I told him Discover does not have a credit bank card so that is misleading to the customers. I told him he need to take that off the door because that is false advertisement for payment representation. I also told him he needs to tell the customers upfront that he only takes cash or debit cards not a very honest business. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I don't recommend this place AT ALL. If you're thinking about coming here to get your phone repaired, save yourself the hassle and find another place. My husband and I brought his phone here on Memorial Day weekend to get it checked out because the speaker on his phone (while on a call) sounded very low. The gentleman said it would cost $20 to do an assessment and figure out what was wrong with the phone. While he was inspecting the phone, he ended up breaking the screen. He said he would replace it and continued to check out the phone. He then determined it was the top speaker and said it would be $80 to fix the phone and then mentioned that if he fixed the top speaker, the Face ID would no longer work. Which made no sense at all. We decided we were going to just pay the $20 and look elsewhere to get the phone fixed. When he gave us our phone back, the FaceID no longer worked. The gentleman said he would have the FaceID fixed within a couple of days. We are going on 2 weeks now and they still have not fixed our phone. They have been giving us the runaround and basically said they've done all they can do. Now we're out of a phone and have to pay someone else to fix what they broke. This is the worst place to take your phone to get fixed!!! read more

WORST PLACE EVER. PLEASE DO NOT FIX YOUR PHONE HERE. I went 2 months ago to get my screen fixed because it had broken. And the guy seemed nice at first like he wanted to help me. Fixes my phone at a good price. But does not tell me any details about anything. Until after he's already fixed the screen. Shows me "look it's fully functional" he says and then proceeds to ask me for payment. And to sign my "receipt" which was actually a waiver stating if they messed up your phone more they're not responsible. And that they only give you 30 days. Which is absolutely nothing. And they do that on purpose. The guy didn't tell me he was going to be using a 3rd party screen that isn't verified by apple and your iPhone will have a notification that it can't recognize the screen in your settings permanently. And it'll void your warranty or anything you may have with apple or your phone company. Because you're using something that's not an official apple product. It isn't made to be used with an iPhone. My phone was overheating. The screens colors were super off. It was laggy and glitchy and the facial recognition would work sometimes and tap to wake sometimes as well. It wouldn't let me fully use my phone anymore. And he never once mentioned I had only 30 days and after that I'm screwed . He told me "don't worry that notification will go away. And it'll all be ok. Worse case come back and trade it in for another phone with me" however I go back 2 months later because my phone screen is now black and won't turn on. It overheated so much it killed the battery. I lost of lot of data, msgs, pictures, etc because they weren't backed up. And I'm being told "there's nothing I can do it's our policy" "I can charge you again for another repair" or "here I'll tell you what I can take $10 dollars off" which is absolutely insane being that I paid you in the first place to "fix" my phone and now it's completely dead and not functioning at all so you made it worse than the state I brought it in because it was only minority cracked. Yet I still have to pay you again. FOR YOUR MISTAKE and damaging my property. This place is horrible. Service, customer service. All around. Worst place I've ever been to. And unwilling to help me at all and now I lost a $1,500 dollar phone due to their mistake and no one's even willing to make it right. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. I CANT STRESS ENOUGH. I went here to get my screen fixed after it cracking it. They replaced my screen for 75 and even was nice enough to give me a lifetime warranty for the screen. However the next week when I went to pick up my phone, the screen came off and was hanging from my phone. Litterally, like an accordion. I went to show them and brought my warranty to show them as well hoping it would be a quick fix. The man working there told me the warranty wasn't real and told me he cant do anything about it. I asked if maybe i could speak to a mananger and he let me know that there is nobody i can call and nothing I can do. THE WORST IPHONE STORE SCAM. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

Huge scam artists lie to u every word. Will lie on ur payments and final costs. When I got a z4 from them I was pushed into accepting a broken phone after already paying down payments I was promised a hassle free replacement in 1 week. When I returned the first thing I was told was well you have to take it up with warranty.. after another conversation full of lies I was told come back in 3 more days. Before getting that chance to even return I get a email sent with my contract saying once I left the store it ment I accepted to pay $120 every 2 weeks (was supposed to be $80 monthly) till I pay $1500 (supposed to be $1100. My iPhone 12 Pro was cracked on the front and back, service was quick and very convenient however the job was very poorly done and caused several issues with my phone. When I picked up the phone it was nonstop overheating which caused the battery to swell. The results of the battery swelling made the battery degrade, causing me to eventually not be able to use the phone without having it on the charger. The battery swelling also caused the lcd screen to lift out of the phone and made the screen blackout. I ended up taking my phone to the Apple store (I was trying to avoid that) where they ran the diagnostics and there was an overwhelming list of issues causing me to have to replace the entire phone. The main issue was my antennas were crashing. Overall highly disappointed with the service and I advise everyone to learn from my mistakes avoid this place! read more
