They will tell you everything you want to hear but not actually give you anything promised. Want to spend countless hours at a store and still have issues? Just ask for Elizabeth! I walk into the place and patiently sit down waiting with my wife and the employees here decided to let somebody go ahead of us so we stay patient regardless. I asked one of the gentleman while waiting if they had the phone I was looking for in stock and he said yes they do. Finally once we get seated and I ask once again which ones they have in stock, literally takes three employees to realize that they do not have any in stock and then come over to tell me they never told us they had any. I happened to walk in to this location to see if they can help me with my problem.Sadly just spoke to an associate named Alex which didn't seem like she cared what I was saying due to the fact that she was more entertained playing on her phone then looking at me directly. No eye contact or respect in hearing my issue with AT&T customer service. Which to me was below zero I would say -10 due to the lack of sympathy or understanding. I went to the store at Skyview Plaza on S.O.B.T. Absolutely wonderful customer service from a young man named Iran. I told hi I wanted a Phone "top of the line for my husband's Christmas gift". He and my husband discussed the model Iran had chosen to show us, and the necessary accessories. Wish I would have checked the reviews before going here, but my data wasn't working properly, so I had it turned off. After waiting 30 minutes, the rep comes over and asks my problem, I explain how I was just at the Apple store trying to figure out why my battery was draining from a brand new IPhone 6 that I hadn't even purchased a month ago from AT&T. They said they don't know what is causing it specifically, but the phone was set up with something running in the background constantly. So, after spending 2 hours at the Apple Store, he reformatted the whole phone and set it up as a new phone for me. No problems there, helpful and found a solution. I asked about my data being used 3 times more than previous periods, as I purchased this phone one day before my last billing period, and I usually only use 1.5-2.0 GB per billing cycle. Since this phone, I went through 2.0GB within 2 weeks and was coming up on using 3.0GB and getting charged another $10 overage fee. They explained it was the way the phone was set up and that I should take to AT&T about that. Step in this location. The rep hears the above story and doesn't even look up my account or anything and just blames it on the phone and says Apple should replace it with their one year warranty and that there is nothing he can do. I try explaining the story again and he still doesn't even ask for my account information or look me up, just blames it on Apple and the phone and says the charges are legit and there is nothing he can do. I then ask for a manager. Rather than just getting the manager, he walks me over and doesn't let me explain what happens, but rather in his words explains what happened, making sure he explained it specifically stating all the problems that show it is not AT&T that is liable, but the Apple company. So, rather than me getting to explain how this whole problem rooted from AT&T and that I just wanted them to check my account and see what I could do to prevent ANOTHER 1 GB $10 charge, they never looked up my account and the manager just agreed with the rep. No customer service at all! I ended up leaving and calling customer service to report this horrible location and she ended up crediting my account for not just the last upcharge, but for the future one that I will be getting, as she gave some tips on how to check whether it is the AT&T setting it up or the actual I-Phone. That's how a company should respond. I didn't care if they took responsibility, but rather offered solutions, not just saying there is nothing they can do. AT&T corporate should really do some research on this location, as it looks like I am not the only one that had a bad experience here. To prove I'm not just bashing this company, I am going to go back and write a good review for Juan at the AT&T location in California that I usually go to! Shows how shocked I was in such bad service that I don't even know the rep or managers name. I knew it was going nowhere with them and they could care less. This is absolutely the WORST retail experience I ever had in my whole adult life, so far. I mean I have travel widely to some 3rd world countries and small non-English speaking mom and pop foodstore in Sri Lanka would give me a better service. IF there is a ZERO star option I would gave it negative 2. I was a week away for another long travel trip so I ordered the new Samsung S7 thru my AT&T account and instead of potentially missing Fedex delivery so I chose this store for pick up, which is nearest to my place at the moment. I printed out a copy of the online order, and it said "Ready for pick up" and the first time I entered this store, I show them the receipt and order number and the first guy said, I couldn't pick up, "it wasn't ready". The next day I stop by again was assisted by Frederick, who seem like he didn't want to be there, took my papers and went behind the store, look for my phone again. Finally returned with a box, which is just like any other phones he pick up from store shelves! Sim card wasn't installed, I waited for another half an hour, requesting if they can transfer my settings/contacts from my Iphone to the new S7, he just shake his head and said, you can back up you iphone data to icloud and transfer from there (???) Hello?? I didn't know Samsung has access to my iCloud? Finally he took my credit card and tried to swipe it 3 times, said it didn't go thru. He swiped it on a wireless card swiper, which is helluva suspicious because within 5 hours I got a call from my credit card company, saying somebody trying to enter my CC info on a different terminal. I had to go to work like in 15 min on that Sunday so I left, thinking I can come back tomorrow. When I got home, there is no instruction manual in the box, and the pin to pop-up the MicroSD/SIM card tray was missing. When I went there the next time, asking for that pin, Frederick went back to the back of the store and never came back out again. Another came out and said they don't have any. When I said "I am disappointed" he just gave me a smirk expression and said "yeah, whatever". Didn't even offer me to help insert my SIM and memory card. Absolute disgusting. I am thinking of going in there the next available chance to complain to their manager, which I have no great hope because the last few times I was at the store, there are all young people who seem like they couldn't find a better job and stuck there in a AT&T store and play games on their company issued IPAD to pass time. read more

The worst customer service ever!! I am so surprised by my experience today that I have to leave the first public review I have ever given.. First let me say I have been with AT&T for over 20 years and have probably updated my phone 10 times without a problem... I went into this store today to upgrade my phone. I was shocked to hear that even after showing my drivers license with the same address as my account and having my phone with me that they would not be able to help me because my name was James on my drivers license and the name on my account was Jim.... Furthermore in a world where AT&T begs me almost weekly to go to a paperless bill that I would have to drive home and bring back the very paper bill they want me to eliminate.... I have never in my life heard anything so stupid and less customer friendly ... They could have asked me to sign onto my account in the store to validate myself, asked for my SSN anything else besides letting me leave the store empty handed.. This was a manager decision and something that only leaves me to think management does not care about the customer.... I went home and ordered my new phone online within the hour but now have to wait for a phone to be mailed to me.... Jim vs James ??? It wasn't Frank vs Jeff... Could you get a more common abbreviation of a formal name? James - Jim 20 year customer.... I would never take my hard earned money to this store, they don't want to be bothered by customers.... No wonder it was empty... You would think people that work in the brick and mortar stores would want more sales to ensure their jobs long term... Online might just be the way to go after all...
