Unbelievably bad experience. I was sold the wrong iPhone--128GB instead of the 256GB I clearly requested. When I returned the next day, the same employee, Valeria, lied and claimed she told me, and the manager, Barrington, took zero accountability. He said he watched the camera footage and blamed me for opening the phone, as if that excused their mistake. Then, when AT&T corporate couldn't process the refund, he demanded to see my personal and private bank statement to "prove" the charge went through--accusing me of lying again. Completely unprofessional, dismissive, and shady. Overall an insulting treatment of a paying customer. Avoid this store at all costs. read more

Long story, end result I believe they are dishonest and intentionally add to your bill, att customer service won't remove charges because added at store, returned phone. Came to get a new phone today. I walked in and no one spoke acknowledged me. I walked around for about 5 minutes. There weren't that many customers, but with 2 employees it doesn't take that many to be too much. I already knew what I wanted, would've been easy. but i left. Complete waste of time. Employees don't know what they're talking about, was brushed off twice and told that I wouldn't be able to trade my phone in for an old model. Then when I wanted to upgrade to a newer model, they don't even have it in stock. Ultimately was just told to go to a separate at&t store or fill out everything online. I needed to change my phone plan after my mother died and I was on her family plan. I spent over 2 hours for 2 days in a row working with various members at the store trying to just get a plan under my name. I felt I kept getting pawned off to other staff members and nobody was kind or friendly. I was told to come in at a certain time and when I did I still waited over 30 minutes before I was even acknowledged. One staff member promised me a certain rate with a healthcare discount and then after all was said and done they couldn't explain to me why I'd be paying $10 more than the promised rate each month. The person I spoke with said I could call back and "try to figure it out with someone else" but honestly I'm at the point where I'd rather spend an extra $10 a month for now instead of talking with anyone at AT&T. So next time I'm feeling extra patient and have an entire free day or two (when does that happen) I might give them a call, but until then I'm looking at plans with Verizon and may very well make the switch. read more

My husband and I have had our Apple iPhone 6 pair since August of 2017 (yes, we know, later versions have come out since then, but we are happy with ours), and we changed over from Sprint after our contract expired. We were quickly and efficiently attended to at the NorthPoint AT&T store at the mall, and have been happy customers with AT&T ever since, with a few minor billing questions that we have resolved over the phone. We have Direct TV, AT&T for our home computer and tablet, and both of our phones through AT&T service (far better, we must say, than what we had following ceasing our Sprint service). So we can't understand why some people are so upset with the AT&T store service. They took their time and answered all our questions, called Sprint for us, switched us over with the same phone numbers and no loss of service. Thanks, AT&T. read more

Maybe the person I spoke with was just having a bad day or was tired of hearing "stupid iPhone questions" but the service I got when I went in this store was quite discourteous. I only stayed long enough to be told, "If you're looking for an iPhone, you can wait in line for 40 minutes but we're still going to tell you we don't have any and won't have any for a few weeks." I was looking to switch my corporate service to a local store but with that attitude, I'll continue using the online service instead. Apparently they don't want my money at this location. read more

On September 4th I entered the store after 7 p.m. . There were no customers in the store. Stanley is the representative that assisted me. I explained to Stanley that I had gotten a message with a Google logo on it stating that there was a virus that was about to enter the phone. Stanley did not look at the phone and his reason was that he had seen this type of situation on many occasions and there was nothing that could be done. He suggested that I upgrade to an iPhone and I explained that I did have the insurance plan. Stanley proceeded to start the insurance claim and explained my deductible and again suggested upgrading to the iPhone, which I declined again. The next day I went to the Best Buy location where I purchased the phone originally and the young lady within 5 minutes remedied the situation and explained what she did in order to rectify the issue. The new AT&T phone that was to be the replacement arrived the next day. I now have to return the new phone. The deductible is pending on my account and once the new phone has been received back at AT&T the credit will hopefully offset the deductible charge within the same cycle. 2 hours of my time has been spent in vain due to Stanley's lack of profesional assistance in his attempt to sell me an iPhone rather than helping me to diagnose and resolve the issue. read more

This should be 0 stars. The rudest people work here and I am talking about the manager. I have tried 3 times with this store and everytime they are rude - it is very convenient. When I try to find someone in a supervisory position - customer service in India will not find anyone. I called them 8 times trying to find out who the regional is of this horrible store. We have 9 cell phones with AT&T for over 20 years. Just upgraded 2 to IPhone 7's. bought a $80 lifetime warranty CaseMate cover for wife's phone. It broke in 3 weeks. AT&T replaced it. New one broke again in a month. Went to same AT&T store where purchased phones and case and AT&T refused to replace it because they didn't have the exact same case in stock. Salesman and manager whispered and then said - "no we can't help you. " Said had to contact CaseMate. Not good service for a long time loyal customer. read more

AT&T Store - Broken CaseMate - Lifetime Warranty. Lasted 4 weeks - Mobile Phones Near Me - Norcross, Georgia

I had to create a Yelp account just to warn you guys about this AT&T store. My 2 year contract ended and I was due for a new IPhone upgrade. I went in and the sales rep, "Ramone" (who is apparently a store assistant manager), helped me out. He tried to upsell me AT&T Next program and I asked him what the program would cover and how much it would cost. He told me it would be 20$ a month for 30 months (I have an employee discount), and I declined, saying I would rather buy an Otter case to protect my phone. I asked him if I could pay the 200$ for my phone upgrade up front to avoid additional fees. He says he understands, but that there would be NO ADDITIONAL charges beyond the 200 if I went with the monthly payment plan. That seemed strange to me, but I agreed and signed all their paperwork. Cue 3 weeks later and I find out I am being billed for the NEXT plan which would cost a net of 450$ more than just a phone upgrade would be. I went back to the store to argue against it and another sales rep, "Jose" told me his hands were tried because it had been 14 days after the contact was signed. I asked to speak with a manager "Sara" who told me the same thing. This is where I get upset, and tell them very carefully and slowly, how I twice confirmed that I did not want the NEXT plan, and even offered to pay 200$ up front to avoid any additional charges. I told him there could be no misunderstanding on what me and Ramone had agreed to. It wasn't until I started getting loud and threatening to goto small claims court (best friend of a smart consumer), that finally Sara granted me the original contract I thought I had signed up for. I had to re-pay 200$ up front and she told me I would be "credited" on my bill 2 months from now for this months NEXT Charges. So I'll have to check again in 2 months time to make sure they actually reversed it. The best part was "sara" told me "ramone" had no reason to be dishonest with me, as if he wasn't working based off of commission (yeah right). TL;DR - This stores rep billed me for a much more expensive service after I explicitly told him I did not want TWICE, and then tried to pull the "oh it's been 14 days and it's too late to change your plan routine". I could not believe they were getting away with this crap in 2015. PLEASE DO NOT trust anyone at this store and you might actually have to read the entire contact if you are looking to purchase. Bought a brand new iPhone 7 here in January 2017. Paid full price. Turns what I got was NOT A NEW iPhone at all!!! It did not even have all Apple parts - had a third party screen and screws and the cowling (whatever that is) was missing. Discovered this today. The phone's screen had a dime sized discolored area in one corner of the screen - that became visible when I switched to a gray background. After putting it off I finally made an appointment and took it in to the Apple store today. Apple took off the screen to replace it and found that all those parts were not Apple parts at all. AT&T store said they couldn't do anything because they said it was past the 14 day period. They had no idea how I ended up with a NOT NEW / REFURBISHED iphone. They basically said I myself could have damaged the phone, fixed it and then tried to take it to the Apple store. I understand their point of view but it is not true. SOMEHOW I walked out of THIS store with a phone that was not new, not all apple parts and had a problem. Lesson learned: ONLY BUY APPLE PRODUCTS FROM AN APPLE STORE!!! read more

They will lie to you about terms of service (or perhaps they just can't relay them because they don't understand them). Be careful, you might get a big surprise on your next monthly bill if you've transacted any business here. Don't walk in, unless you have an online appointment I walked in 4 times, waited each time over 40min and never managed to get service. The sales people there just let walk-ins wait while chit chatting with customers without any sense of urgency. They are incredibly inefficient and have no respect for people's time. Very disappointed in AT&T and the manager of this store. I have been an AT&T wireless customer for 20+ years and have 6 lines. I went in to replace a phone and was given poor info by the sales person. I asked for a phone that had all the features of the phone I was replacing and they suggested a Samsung A7 ( I wanted a Samsung). When I got home I realized that the phone didn't support NFC so I couldn't use GooglePay or Samsung pay. I took the phone back to the store and wanted to exchange it for a phone that met my needs. The manager refused to waive the $45 restocking fee. I explained that I wouldn't have gotten this phone if I had known it didn't have all the features that were important to me. She quoted company policy and refused to budge. I noticed the tent cards asking for reviews on Yelp and FB and told her I would definitely be reviewing them. She told me not to threaten her and to not "send my negative energy" to her. The sales person I worked with the second time, Max, was very helpful and helped me pick out a new phone. I paid the restocking fee but I'm not a happy customer. It's amazing that one encounter can color decades of being a satisfied AT&T customer. Update: I called the AT&T Customer support number and they very quickly agreed to refund the restocking fee. While I wouldn't recommend this location, my faith in AT&T as a company is restored! read more

Unless you have an online appointment I probably would not choose this store. I have been on a few times at night when they're not busy and had good experiences. This time the manager stood there with an iPad in his in his hand doing nothing but would not come over and ask me if I needed help with anything. This location deserves 1 star however the FOURTH yes FOURTH employee that helped me here over the course of two days is the one that's getting a 5 star review from me. Jerrell Mercado is an exemplary employee. He finally got me a new phone after 2 days, 4 trips to AT&T stores and over 6 hours of dealing with other customer service reps. I came to this location Monday afternoon after my old iPhone had fallen just the right way and broken both the screen and LCD display. I'm still new to the ATL area and need my phone for navigation. When I originally came into this location Monday afternoon I told a different rep my situation, that I was a month away from my upgrade date but needed a new phone and was there anything they could do for me. He told me I was on an old plan they don't even have anymore (big surprise since they constantly change their plans) but that I could get a new iPhone through a new installment plan. He brought out the new phone and started getting me set up.... but alas, I had a past due payment. Which I already had set up a payment for that was scheduled to come out this coming Thursday. This employee told me that if I paid the past due balance ($164) then they would be able to set me up on that installment plan to get a new phone, which would only cost me $41 (the tax for the new iPhone). So I left, went home and paid the past due balance. I went to a different AT&T location in Duluth where they told me, nope, sorry, you're upgrade isn't available until NOVEMBER, I should mention I had been told a few weeks ago at this Norcross location that my upgrade was available in June. The rep at the Duluth location tried to have a manager, who I never saw and who never spoke to me, fix this for me. The rep came back and told me there was nothing they could do but that I should go back to the Norcross store since an employee there told me I should be able to get the upgrade if I made the payment and the manager should honor that. So I drove back to this Norcross location. Third trip that day. The rep I had spoken to earlier that day was no longer there. The woman I had spoken to a few weeks ago that told me I could upgrade in June ended up "helping" me. I told her what the first rep from her store had told me, and what the rep from Duluth had told me. She still couldn't get me an upgrade. So she said she was going to speak to her manager and see what they could do for me. The manager, whoever was there Monday around 4pm didn't even bother to come talk to me. He sat in his chair about 6 feet away from where I was waiting telling her that I now couldn't upgrade to a new phone or be eligible for the installment plan until November because I had been late on a payment last month. Again, he never even bothered to walk over to me and talk to me in person. Just leaned back in his chair and let her come back to me. Once she relayed to me what he had to say, he finally came over to talk to me because I was nearly irate at this point. I told him one of his employees had told me as long as I made that past due payment I'd be eligible for the installment plan on a new phone. He basically talked in circles saying that employee shouldn't have told me that and he'd "speak with them". Doesn't help me much when I need a new phone. Never once did he try to to contact any customer service or management above him to see if they could help me. He just kept telling me there was nothing they could do and I'd have to wait until November. BS. This morning I got on my computer and had to log onto AT&T chat to see if I could fix this situation. Finally a customer service rep transferred me to a manager that said "no problem, you have less than two months left on your contract" they fixed my account and told me I could go back to the AT&T store in Norcross and get a new phone on the installment plan. Here's my biggest problem. If someone from AT&T chat can fix my issue then a gd manager at the actual store should've been able to fix my problem for me without wasting 6 hours of my time. They all have phones and iPads in store. You can't tell me the manager at this location didn't have it in his capability to call or contact another way or someone above him to see if they could work this out for me. When I came back in this afternoon I swear I saw that same manager roll his eyes at me. Luckily Jerrell had already spoken to me and I chose to stick with him instead of dealing with the other reps who I had had zero help from the previous day. I told Jerrell the entire situation and within minutes he got me set up with a new phone. He helped me make sure I got the device I wanted. Helped me make sure my old iCloud was set up on my new phone. Made great conversation with me and suggested insurance along with showing me add ons like cases, screen protectors and headphones. If it wasn't for Jarrell this location would get 1 star from me. Give him a promotion he deserves it. The manager should've worked with me the way Jerrell did. read more

I had no past due bill!!!! My shit should never have been off obviously if it was fixed it less then 10 mins and the other girl said it was NEVER a billing issue!!!!!! Fuck AT&T. I'm done with cable,Internet and phone service. I def won't pay that shit on my exit!!!!!!!! Teach your workers how to deal with angry customers!!!!
