Beautiful Apple store located in Miami Worldcenter next to Lucky Strike and Lululemon…read more Stopped in here to look for a USB-A to USB-C adapter. I purchased an adapter from Apple recently with online order and it was the wrong one. Apple does not make the USB-A to USB-C adapter but the Apple associate who helped me informed me that Beats is closest thing to Apple product since Apple bought Beats. Cost was $18.99 so not bad. The Mophie option was $19.99. Noted. I decided to wait on this purchase to see if I really needed it. This is more for all the new plugs changing over to USB-C but I still want to use anything I have that still caters to USB-A. Confusing right? Ha. All in all, Apple customer service is usually always top notch and the stores are minimalistic. Clean and modern. Aesthetically pleasing. Great location!

The Apple Watch I had for a little over three years breathed its last this past Saturday evening…read more Apparently I missed a step when trying to login a swimming workout and it did not go fully water resistant. It started turning off, locking, and just switching to the Apple icon. I first stopped by the T-Mobile store in Wynwood and they were out of watches with the wrist strap that I wanted. To their credit the T-Mobile employee referred me to go to this Apple Store. I explained the situation first to Sebastian, the sales manager on the floor. He tested and was able to generate at least a partial credit for my old watch. He then talked me through the configuration and selection process for a new watch through their in-store iPad. He also explained that I could've swapped out my wrist band into the new watch. (I have one of the sports ones instead of the default when it comes with the iPhone.) After completing my order & payment, he asked that Denise help me with the actual configuration & setup for my watch. She had me sit at one of the open table / workbenches and charge my phone while the ioS software updated on my phone & watch. This did take almost over an hour, which was a hiccup to my Sunday schedule. However, I now have a new & functioning AppleWatch. The store itself is pretty clean and well lit, though watched by the tough looking security guys at various points along the store. The bathroom is accessible behind a service corridor.

I was unable to figure out myself, so we walked in and were helped by Cynthia. She was great and patient and informative without coming across as judgmental for not knowing how to deal with certain aspects of technology. In a world where more and more the people who are hired to work somewhere seem upset that you came in, her demeanor of patience, kindness, and customer centered help stood above and beyond. We were able to get clear and concise answers related to the accounts and both the members that were there were engaging with other guests and greeting them . The store was clean and easy to access via a parking lot in the shopping center, the company itself has military, friendly rate plans, and my mom was happy because she was treated awesomely: that to me constitutes a five star experience

Turns out they're both from Telecom- so if you have questions go to them! We were helped with our interests by Sandy who knocked it out of the park with his customer service skills. Sandy helped us look up all kinds of info and stats to ensure my mom had exactly the speaker she needed versus something that would've been overkill. That kind of sincerity and care goes a long way so naturally we bought it. As a matter of fact, it was such a good experience we went with a different color speaker altogether. They had a different color at a different store but we kept it local. In terms of price point it was well below anything online including Amazon prime. We were then helped by Jose in the TV department, the one and only! to locate a TV that was in high demand, and ofcourse, exactly the brand and size TV that we were hoping for. In this case we walked away with the inky one in stock so it was a great success. All in all a great experience and a lot of consideration.

Horrible customer service experience. I bought an iPhone 7plus 3 days ago and it has a problem…read moresince the start. I waited a long time in the store even though there was only one customer in front of me. Everyone has an attitude, especially Gabriel. He called my name when it was my turn, then didn't acknowledge me for several minutes. He acted as if I was bothering him by simply daring to come to the store. He asked me a question, left without explaining why, came back and still with an attitude told me I need to take my issue at Apple. This might be their policy, but things still have to be handled politely. Given their poor customer service, attitude and policies, I regret switching to At&t and wish I had stayed with Sprint. My service and phone were working fine. I switched to lower my monthly bill and now I'm stuck with a phone that doesn't work and rude people. After the above experience I went back to the car and checked their policy online. It says they must accept returns, so they have to honor it. They were trying to send me through the Apple loop to have my brand new defective phone repaired, instead of exchanging it like their policy says. That would have taken a long time with shipments and all, instead of just replacing a defective product. I'm so glad I read their own policy. I'm waiting again, I'll post how it goes. The second employee was nicer. The only way to avoid the restocking fee is to take it to Apple. ‍
