I have been a customer of Verizon for over 30 years. Been receiving texts from Verizon to get a…read morefree upgrade to an I-phone 17 or I-phone 16 pro with trade-in and 3 year contract. Went to the Verizon store in Lake Stevens on December 15, 2025 and get the upgrade. Picked out the new phone, had it activated with new protective cover and was told it had to have a new charger and cord. I got home and found out the phone was a standard USB "C" which I have numerous ones already. Returned to store to drop off old phone for credit and return the charger. Everything seemed to be in order until the bill came. Upon reading Invoice, claims a $50 restocking charge on an unopened merchandise, $61.99 charger!! But have not received any credit at all for returned charger. No credit on turning in old I-Phone or explanation. Free upgrade turned out to be 3 year contract with plan price increase that will end up costing me $2321.64 by the end of contract for a $840 I-Phone 17. Invoice showed ($840) credit but on further reading found the ($840) credit was the amount being financed at over 18%. None of this was explained before I left the store and agreed to a new 3 year contract. Should have purchased phone outright or better yet, gone to a different provider where the I-phone is included in the plan and all prices and that I have financed a free upgrade phone would have been explained before signing any paperwork. The store front says Verizon, but nowhere on the invoice letterhead is Verizon mentioned. Will never do business again with this store Victra or Verizon again. Telling all my senior friends this is not a senior friendly store and they will be ripped off like I was. You get lied to about a free upgrade. You get scammed into a load. You get cheated out of your money by not honoring returns. As soon as I can get out of this contract I am switching to a customer friendly wireless phone company.

I was there for my phone number. I couldn't access anything because my emails my bank accounts everything wanted me to get a second tier validation, which meant a text on my cell, and I didn't have a cell with that number to receive the text. and they wouldn't give me my phone number. I started raising my voice and asking them to call the police because they were holding my whole life hostage with this phone number finally I sat in one of the chairs at one of the desks and I just refuse to leave they threatened all kinds of things I said nope not without my phone number finally they gave it to me after sitting at that desk for approximately 30 seconds they told me it was unlocked I immediately left and went to T-Mobile across the parking lot and they verified that they were able to give me my phone with my original phone number. thank you T-Mobile!

I spoke with the person "Zaib" (see pictures) and we agreed on 90.00 to replace the screen. I had him give me a card with his name, the details and the price. He said it would be 24 hours or so to fix it. We gave him 48 hours and called in advance to pick it up and make sure it was ready. When we called, he said the price had gone up to 150.00 and they had not done it. He really did not give a reason other than he gave us the wrong price. Mind you, we discussed price in depth and agreed upon 90.00. I said we would be there immediately to pick it up. Upon arriving there, I asked why he had agreed to a price and then not honored it. He proceeded to show us a text message from his boss, telling him that he could not honor the price. When I told him this was a typical bait and switch, he stated that would just say he could not get into the iPad - which you don't need to have in order to replace a screen - and was a lie. He turned very nasty, rude and sarcastic. In closing, I went to the Apple Store - they were less money. This place is a joke! Do yourself a favor and stay away.

Things went well at first when I dropped off my phone and let the guys at the kiosk know that I had a groupon as well. I came back and my phone was ready. I was asked if I wanted a phone screen protector and I said yes, thinking that it was included in the repair. IT WAS NOT. By the time I figured this out, the screen protector had been applied and couldn't be refunded. It was an extra $25. They said it could be replaced for $9.99 once it wore down if I brought the original receipt back. I honestly felt pretty scammed because I can buy quality screen protectors on Amazon for half that price. When I mentioned the price difference between theirs and Amazon's, they said theirs is higher quality and that I wouldn't be able to put it on properly at home. That's for me to decide. It was said pretty condescendingly. I feel stupid for not asking if the screen protector was free or not, but make sure you do. When I let them know that they should let their customers know that there is a charge for it when asking, they got very defensive and said that other places charge over $30. That wasn't my point. The point was to be transparent with the pricing upfront. Another issue arose with the groupon deal. The original deal is a $30 voucher for $15. I presented this and they said that it would only cover 10%. On my receipt, it's marked as the yelp check in discount. I kept asking why the groupon's full $30 wasn't applied and they said that's just how it was. I told them that it's not right to keep the deal up on the page if it's not accurate and they said they were aware of it but couldn't do much about it. How does that make any sense? The business promoting the deal through groupon should be responsible for upholding it or take it off the site. I purchased it for no reason. I could've still gotten the yelp check in discount without purchasing the groupon. Now I'm having issues getting a refund because groupon makes it so difficult. BUT that's not the end of it. When I said I shouldn't have even purchased the groupon, the guys told me that they don't do discounts much anymore and that they did it for me. It says right on the yelp page that they offer the discount to anyone who checks in. I don't understand. All in all, my phone is fixed. However, I left in a bad mood due to the lack of transparency in pricing for the screen protector, the defensive manner in which they answered my questions, and the way the groupon deal was handled.

The issue was a cooling fan seemed like it was failing. They got me a quote put together and I picked up the computer the following day so I could get everything backed up. The plan was that I would pay for the part, they'd order it, and they'd replace it when it arrived. Until then I could lightly use the computer. My company's IT is handled out of a corporate office on the east coast. As such, then dealing with hardware issues usually isn't feasible. But with a slow turn around on ordering the new fan, they thought they could get me a computer in half the time. So, I picked it up and didn't order the part. I told them what was going on and offered to pay for the diagnostics which was declined. I get it back to the office and it's fine. No more kazoo noises, at least for now. So, they fixed my computer and refused money for doing so. The next time we have a computer hardware issue, I'll be suggesting T.S. USA Computer Repair. Great service, content location, and that helped me a ton. It is most certainly appreciated.
