I am startled as to the level of incompetence exhibited by the employee's and management here…read more After a long wait for service, I was unable to get a strait answer from them regarding the financial details regarding an upgrade. I received a "word salad" only. I went through with the upgrade anyway. Of course they did not have my desired phone in store, so it had to be ordered. Upon arrival a few days later, I was unable to completely transfer my old phone's information to the new phone, and despite my best efforts received a spiraling wheel of death as the phone waited to upload/sync or otherwise make itself ready for use. I made another trip to the store regarding the new, non working phone and my now disabled old phone issue. After another long wait for service and no less than three equally incompetent employee's, I asked to cancel the sale/contract and restore my old phone as it was. I was of course then advised that I needed to go home and retrieve the new phones original box. SO now three trips to this store. Upon my arrival with any and all items that came with the new phone, I was told I had to pay a $50+ "restocking charge" for the non working phone. If this experience is common for them, I do not see how they stay in business. They certainly will not get any more of mine.

This story is stunningly shady. Stay away from this store. Allen and the young manager WILL try to…read moreswindle you. Get this. My wife brought her phone in for an upgrade. We didn't want to pay too much more than our current bill at the time so she asked for the cheapest option. This guy, Allen told her that going with with the "promotional upgrade" of adding a line and trading in her phone for the 14 would be the best bet. We paid for the upgrade. Phones were taking a while to transfer data, so Allen told her to take it home and let it finish then bring it back the next day. We did that... to find out that her phone was suddenly not eligible for the promotional trade in deal... which we already paid for, so now our bill was going to be WAY more expensive. So we tried to return the new phone and start over. They wanted US to pay the $50 restocking fee...for their mistake. This is only the beginning of their shadiness. I ended up biting the bullet and paying the fee (thankfully the peeps at ATT customer service over the phone gave me a $50 credit for my next bill) and when I confronted them about their lame business tactics, this manager came out and said to my face "You're wife told us she was trading in an 11 but yall gave us a 7 to trade in. That's why it didn't work. I was out on the floor during the transaction." Here's the thing though... She was NOT out on the floor during the transaction. She was in the back. I informed her that I actually was on the floor with my wife when we told Allen it was a 7 AND showed him the phone. Allen had the phone IN HIS HAND and looked it over. Apparently he can't tell an old 7 from an 11. Also, the original paperwork showed that it was a 7 that we were trading in. Allen and the manager full on lied and worked up a story together to cover their mistake about "mishearing the words 'seven' and 'eleven'". Another worker who was new and actually trying to help was pulled into the back by Allen who was whispering to her about something and would not let her help me. I felt like I was in a movie. These people were comically shady. BUT WAIT! There's more! I called ATT to report them to find out that Allen also added an insurance charge to our phone that we didn't ask for and CHANGED OUR PLAN to a more expensive one without my consent. Luckily ATT customer service fixed everything and gave me a $500 credit toward a new phone. Moral of the story. If you are upgrading, do it online. DO NOT GO TO AT&T STORES. Especially this den of vipers in Youngsville. LA.

Furthermore the unequal treatment of customers at this location is ridiculous. One representative tells me that they won't talk with customer service, then the same representative turns around and calls customer service for another person and talks with customer service. Lying to customers and picking and choosing who you want to help? You shouldn't work in customer service. Literally the bad apple that makes a bunch of other customer service workers look bad. Will be avoiding this store like the plague

I never see a credit to my account AT&T currently owes me roughly $850 for a phone that I traded to them. So I went to the store. I sat there for an hour waited for a manager to come out. They said that the manager was not there, a co-manager that apparently had been working there for four days, spoke with me. They said they would get the note to the manager. A week goes by still no response. I show up a second time sitting there for another hour and a half talking to a sales rep and the manager still does not come speak to me. They said that they would get the message to them. Never called me, I went in a third time. Luckily the manager was there at 1 PM. Spoke with him. He said that he would get everything straightened out. It is now been two months and I have not seen a credit on my account and no sort of update on the credit. I don't know what is going on over there, but these people are crooks they took my phone, never gave me my trade-in value for it and will not speak to me. If they did this to me, I wonder how many other people they have done this to and nobody realizes. I do not recommend going to this branch.

Tiffany and Anthony sold me AT&T business Air for a very high price now I'm in the fight of my life against them because every other employee at two other stores tells me AT&T does not offer any s when I took the business airbag she told me don't leave that here. If you do, I will throw it in the trash and I said "really "then she told me to get out of store five times. so I'm stuck with Business Air. I have been to the other two AT&T stores multiple times and if when they enter my address into their computer, AT&T does not even offer any out here and that sales person knew that how could she not know it she that's why on this receipt they don't have my address or my telephone number. They are rude. They're inconsiderate ! I have been back to the store multiple times and they choose to ignore me what this girl did was fraud and theft ! intentional and deliberate. I now know AT&T does not offer services at this address... they never did and they still don't and they refuse to talk to me or try to make some kind of concession or take business air back. She told me if I left it there she would throw the trash! Now that's service after the sale...... and the other two stores in the area said they could do nothing for me. and I have been to each store five times still no help as I am. Sorry to say..

No apologies were made for the inconvenience; in fact, we were informed that this was because of shift change and lunch, and lectured on how difficult it was to keep reps on the floor. Upon finally getting to meet with an associate, he was so rude that I had to leave the table for the betterment of the conversation, and while I was away, he tried to sell my wife things twice, and then called her rude when she said that she wasn't interested. When I insisted, admittedly very angrily, that the manager apologize for the inordinate wait and the rudeness of her subordinate, she didn't simply refuse. She STOOD there unspeaking as I insisted three times that she apologize, looking at me as if I were a consummate idiot. The rep had to come across the store himself, at which point he insisted that he had already apologized at the table, but would apologize in front of me. Then we left. Bear in mind that throughout all of this, we got nothing done, not even a battery diagnostic because their machinery was broken. There was no professionalism, no courtesy, no knowledgeability, but an awful lot of apathy. Having had such an unpleasant interaction with AT&T Ambassador Caffery, we expected more of the same from the West Congress. Instead, West Congress was everything that Ambassador was not. With the same amount of reps and no obvious manager, the response was immediate and quite good. Roderick was extremely capable, very pleasant and courteous, very professional and knowledgeable, and got us in and out of there, despite several questions, in 10 minutes; all without trying to sell us anything that we didn't need. THAT is what service is supposed to be about there, AT&T! You folks need to send whoever is training West Congress over to your Ambassador location. We are going to Roderick for all of our needs from now on, no matter that the Ambassador store is six blocks away, and the West Congress store is 3 miles!
