Sadly, it wasn't just gunk in the USB port, but it was corroded enough that it needed replacing, and the parts and labor came to about a hundred and sixty dollars. I was very satisfied with the time it took. From dropping the phone off to completely replacing the USB charger took a little under an hour and a half and then I was on my way. While exiting the parking lot of a small retail center, I came across this shop. I spoke with one of the gentlemen working that day and explained my situation. He assured me it was something they could fix and that it would only take a day or so. A few days later, I finally remembered to bring the phone with me and dropped it off. Just two days later, the charging port had been replaced, and the phone worked as well as it did when it was new. The repair cost was about $58, which I thought was very reasonable. The team did a great job, and I really appreciate the quick turnaround. This isn't my main phone, but it's nice to have a reliable backup again.

They said that the manager was not there, a co-manager that apparently had been working there for four days, spoke with me. They said they would get the note to the manager. A week goes by still no response. I show up a second time sitting there for another hour and a half talking to a sales rep and the manager still does not come speak to me. They said that they would get the message to them. Never called me, I went in a third time. Luckily the manager was there at 1 PM. Spoke with him. He said that he would get everything straightened out. It is now been two months and I have not seen a credit on my account and no sort of update on the credit. I don't know what is going on over there, but these people are crooks they took my phone, never gave me my trade-in value for it and will not speak to me. If they did this to me, I wonder how many other people they have done this to and nobody realizes. I do not recommend going to this branch.

The associate looks on their computer and says "someone" reported my phone lost or stolen. I say well it's not, it's right here in my hands and I didn't report anything. They reactivate my phone. Since then it has been rinse repeat. Yesterday it's happen for the 7th time. We have spent hours on the phone every time, even last night we spent 4 hours on the phone talking and getting transferred to 4 departments. Still even after starting a fraud claim and speaking to probably 6,7,8 "supervisors" we are still with a phone that is blacklisted and doesn't work. What more do we have to do to get AT&T to fix this issue. Oh and did I mention that it was a employee at the AT&T store on Pinhook that knew our PIN number that reported MY phone lost and created a warranty claim to get a new phone for themself.
