I was looking at possibly switching carriers but the moment you walk in the store at the 3807 Ambassador Caffery location in Lafayette, you are not made to feel like a priority or valued customer much less welcomed. 3 Employees sitting at a table not helping anyone with 1 trying to wave me towards a kiosk while staying sitting at that table. No greeting, no approach to ask if I need help with anything, no kind of customer service whatsoever. This is probably the worst experience I've dealt with personally. I do not reccomend anyone utilize this location. Take your business to another location and save yourself the absolute best example of pure laziness and lack of effort the customer service industry has to offer. read more

So I came in with a foreign phone and the sim card could not work in my phone. I was denied a refund by the manager (stating the reason my lack of credit card) through the sales associate and indirectly made to buy another phone from Walmart just for the sim card to work or loss my $45 (for the sim and one time activation fee). I knew he did that because he noticed I was new to Lafeyatte. Reluctantly I got a new phone and came back to the store and went back to get it fixed. I met a new associate and she was super nice and friendly. Her nice attitude made me let go of what previous happened. I'd be giving a three star rating because I honestly was not satisfied with the treatment I got from the manager. I'm pretty sure I'd stay away from the store. read more

been to all at&t locations in lafayette, this one is by FAR the best. customer service is top tier. greeted as soon as you walk in and helped as fast as possible. Every worker there is great, but, Devon.. is superior. super friendly, very helpful, and kind. helping 3 customers at one time, can't get any better than this location. 100/5 stars!! give my boy a raise! read more

Entered the store, 2 of the staff were helping 1 customer (maybe 1 was training-giving them the benefit of the doubt), manager was at the printer and after several moments approached me and asked my name to register me. He walked back to printer then in the back. 2 other employees entered store, guessing they were coming to work. All of them disappeared to back for more than 5 minutes. 3 customers waiting. Finally I got Dre to assist. I was attempting to get a company sponsored phone. He looked up company name and said I was not authorized and started walking away saying "I can't help you." When I went into the store, I was asked to wear a mask. I told them I had a medical problem and could not wear a mask. He said we require that everyone wear a mask. I put one on but didn't put it over my nose. It is against my constitutional rights that I must wear a mask. I have heart problems and breathing issues, plus anxiety whenever I put a mask on. According to HIIPA, businesses are not required to ask why you cannot wear a mask. I addition, they would not handle my phone. They told me I would have to back up my old one myself. I will look elsewhere for a new phone. read more

Very rude, unprofessional, horrible customer service! I went in there couple weeks back for a new phone. Representive talked me into to getting cable with them as well, fine. While applying I was told by worker (Marlon) I had up to 30 days to cancel. About 25 days in, I call to cancel services due to not being able to watch what I was paying for. I was told I had been misinformed, it was 24 hours and I should go back to the location where I was told this information. Go up there spoke with Allex who is supposedly store manager, but from his professionalism you could NOT TELL! He tells me text him my issue and he would bring it to his supervisor. Days later I reach out bc he had not responded. He's tone was very disrespectful first off... he tells me well I never once said I'd reply.., ok, so a customer with an issue such as mine... you don't think a reply or customer callback should have been done, how would I know what's going on if you said you'll see what can be done? Then he tells me well I know my worker Didn't say that... ok so now he's calling me a liar, but why is it you had me text this info if that was the issue. Who fusses and speaks to a customer that way! I guess bc they were holding personal conversation about weekend plans, he knows what the worker said! With a leader as such as Allex, you can see why the store lacks customer service and professionalism. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE. I would give it zero stars if I could. They failed to tell me that a product I bought had a 2 year contract. I was able to return it the next day when I learned of the contract, but they charged me a $35 restocking fee. The box had not even been opened. I could have put it on the shelf myself for free. English did not appear to be the first language of either of the salesmen I dealt with, and they were extremely rude. I doubt that they were high school grads. Go to any other store, but avoid this one like the plague. read more

I have tried 4 times to tell you what your employees and company have meant to our family, here and many other states during Hurricane Andrew. They stayed on the phone with us until we connected with one family member and for many hours without going to lunch or breaks, and they would not hang up until they somehow connected us with one family member, and we were able to reach someone in each family because of how they ask us if we were OK to do this on our on, but she stayed on the other line, to make sure we were OK to make the calls-without her. She even called afew hours later, to see if we needed anything she could help us with. I wish I have written down her name, and the many other employees that touched each of our hearts. This precious lady and everyone each time we might need you, that is why we have been with your company through many name changes for 38 yrs, and are here to stay.
