Fortunately, I checked uBreakiFix locations along the route home and it turned out that there was one on the way. Sadly, it wasn't just gunk in the USB port, but it was corroded enough that it needed replacing, and the parts and labor came to about a hundred and sixty dollars. I was very satisfied with the time it took. From dropping the phone off to completely replacing the USB charger took a little under an hour and a half and then I was on my way. I met a new associate and she was super nice and friendly. Her nice attitude made me let go of what previous happened. Lying to customers and picking and choosing who you want to help? You shouldn't work in customer service. Literally the bad apple that makes a bunch of other customer service workers look bad. I never see a credit to my account AT&T currently owes me roughly $850 for a phone that I traded to them. So I went to the store. I sat there for an hour waited for a manager to come out. They said that the manager was not there, a co-manager that apparently had been working there for four days, spoke with me. They said they would get the note to the manager. A week goes by still no response. I show up a second time sitting there for another hour and a half talking to a sales rep and the manager still does not come speak to me. They said that they would get the message to them. Never called me, I went in a third time. Luckily the manager was there at 1 PM. Spoke with him. He said that he would get everything straightened out. It is now been two months and I have not seen a credit on my account and no sort of update on the credit. I don't know what is going on over there, but these people are crooks they took my phone, never gave me my trade-in value for it and will not speak to me. If they did this to me, I wonder how many other people they have done this to and nobody realizes. I do not recommend going to this branch.

While exiting the parking lot of a small retail center, I came across this shop. I spoke with one of the gentlemen working that day and explained my situation. He assured me it was something they could fix and that it would only take a day or so. A few days later, I finally remembered to bring the phone with me and dropped it off. Just two days later, the charging port had been replaced, and the phone worked as well as it did when it was new. The repair cost was about $58, which I thought was very reasonable. The team did a great job, and I really appreciate the quick turnaround. This isn't my main phone, but it's nice to have a reliable backup again.

After using their services to fix my screen once I wanted to return to them again. I called for a…read moreprice quote on fixing a screen and they quoted $120. I reviewed some previous statements for what they charged last time and it was $79.99. I asked what had changed and they said it was probably just a one time deal but that is definitely not the price now. With all the being said the first time they did fix my phone screen they left the home button ejected and not flushed entirely with the phone but I figured for the price point that it was OK. I mentioned if this would trigger the warranty and he said that, "it's not a common problem that is brought to us when we fix it so you will need to bring it in," As far as the $120, I just thought applying it towards a new phone was a better option for me.
