They had this shirt with chickens embroidered on the shoulders that I absolutely would have bought, except the only one left was a small. A small. There was no amount of optimism, stretching, or wishful thinking that was getting me into that tiny thing. So whoever bought the one in my size, we have beef. I don't know who you are, but I hope you enjoy my shirt. Next time I'll buy it first. Very cool store, great staff, and definitely worth stopping in if you're downtown Lafayette. Partners has the most consistently epic sales…read more While Black Friday people were still nursing their wounds, I rolled out of bed at my leisure on the Sunday after Thanksgiving, moseyed over to Partners, and had plenty of cute stuff to pick from. I didn't even have to beat a bitch to get it. Among other things, I got a Tahari coat for $50 (and, no, you bitches cannot borrow it). This isn't a doorbuster kind of thing, but obviously, it's better if you make it to the first day of their big sales, preferably in the morning. Partners caters to men and women of all ages and they carry some awesome brands, including several not available anywhere else in Lafayette. Examples of brands off the top of my head: Milly Tahari Michael Stars Tibi Nat Nast Lacoste They also offer free alterations on purchases (does not include sale items), which is awesome. This is a family owned and operated business that has been around since (I think) the late 1970s. Support your local businesses, ya'll.
