I spent $2,095.13 on dresses from this business owner, Chuck, and never received my order, a refund, or even an apology from him. These weren't just any dresses one was for my vow renewal, and the others were for my 40th birthday trip. Both were very special and meaningful moments in my life. When I went to the store to check on my order, it was completely closed down with no notice about what happened or where my dresses were. I tried calling and texting multiple times, but got no response at all. What made the situation even worse was finding out from the staff at Jovani that Chuck never even placed the order for my dresses. So basically, he took my money and never purchased anything. Because of this, I had to repurchase all of my dresses again this time I went directly through Jovani which added even more stress and financial burden. Thankfully, they stepped in and helped me, and I'm so grateful for that. Honestly, I couldn't believe Chuck did this to me. I was in tears, crying over the phone with the staff at Jovani for weeks. I even had to call my bank too. Everyone should know these dresses take a long time to come in, and thank God they were able to expedite them all because of this situation. I couldn't believe this was happening to me, especially since I've supported this business in the past. I felt completely taken advantage of, hurt, and disappointed. I have never had someone I supported and trusted over the years do something like this to me. No one should ever have to experience something like this. Based on my experience, I strongly urge others to be cautious and think twice before doing business here.

Nicole (the owner) is an absolute gem. It feels like you're trying on dresses with a good friend. And she was respectful of my original budget and didn't make me try on anything too expensive. When I came back the second time she even went out of her way to order some loaner dresses in my size so I could get a better idea of what it would actually look like on. the entire experience felt extremely personal. I was set on an A line and didn't think anything fitting would look good on me (size 16). but she encouraged me to try on a trumpet gown and made me feel SO confident In it even though I was hesitant. Fell in love with that style after and ended up buying one! I went to shops in Lafayette, New Orleans and Baton Rogue and I just felt like I need to go back to Sposa Bella. I didn't even have to beat a bitch to get it. Among other things, I got a Tahari coat for $50 (and, no, you bitches cannot borrow it). This isn't a doorbuster kind of thing, but obviously, it's better if you make it to the first day of their big sales, preferably in the morning. Partners caters to men and women of all ages and they carry some awesome brands, including several not available anywhere else in Lafayette.
