Went into the store because of the constant changes to my account. Was told the manager was on vacation. So I came back a week later. They then informed me that they couldn't help me and everything looked fine and to call customer service. Typical Att support. Ignore the issue and continue to charge. No ownership of the problem. No change. They didn't even take the time to remove the broken device from my account so I wouldn't be charged. read more

We went into the store because we had questions about our AT&T plan. Marvin helped us he is marvelous. He helped us get updated on our Internet and then the second time we went back he helped with our plan which saved us money. How could you not be happier! We love Marvin's help, he helped us so much. I waited a while to post this review so it wouldn't be 4000 words and super harsh. To sum it up, my husband and I went in to get on our own small business phone plan. We had been on a business plan before with many people and needed a new one. We'd been in twice before and found out all we needed to do. However this was not the case when we got there. The first guy helping us kept just kicking away on his iPad without talking to us or telling us what he was doing. Then he'd disappear to the back and come back without telling us again what was going on. A few times of this, and a few hours later, he walked out. Literally walked out of the store!! Turns out he QUIT!! While he was helping us! I found another rep there and she tried to help us but still it took hours. We were there for a total of 7.5 hours. Not exaggerating! Seems like if the store employees can't help with something then they need to admit this and direct people in the right direction. What a waste of my day to be there, and we didn't even leave with new plans! We had to wait for a call back from someone to continue this. After another week and a few calls from a very good representative with business services, we finally had our own plan. Oh but not the right one! That took another recent phone call... If you have to go to the ATT store insurgent going to the one on Westnedge in Portage. They were much better to work with! read more

Horrible store , employees lie to push sales quotes. Told me that the shipping date on phone would be about 3 days ended up taking over a month to receive. Then proceeded to lie about the process of turning in my old phone. Take the time to drive to a different at&t location not worth to give this shame of management and employees here your business will lead to more stress than it's worth. read more

I have always liked this store in the past but today they barely earned one star. When you go to the door there's a sign to show your ID before they let you in. The man who came behind me, came right up to me and said; "aren't you going to go in?" I explained that I was showing my ID. The clerk at the door came out after seeing mine, stood right next to me blocking my entrance while the other guy came up to show his ID in my face. No social distancing at all. Then when I got in and could distance, another woman on a bench right next to an elderly customer said there were two people ahead of me. So I waited a while and then asked about how long it might be. The clerk at the door said she had no idea and they other woman was the manager. I asked her and she told me she had no idea. I asked if she thought it would be ten minutes or a couple of hours so I could know if I should stay or come back. She said some appointments take a few minutes, and went on to explain four or five different scenarios ending with one that could take three hours she said. I asked her if she could possibly ask her two employees if they had ten minute guests or two hour guests. She hollered over to one and said; "how long are you going to be?" He replied that he didn't know. She turned to me and said; "See"? Good grief, what would it take to know as a manager to know if the customers are involved in a long transaction or a shorter one when you have other customers waiting? I certainly understand that she can't give a definite answer but a little bit of an idea would certainly be good customer service. read more

Just spent over an hour in the store, we had two people in front of us-- finally gets to us an the employee that should have taken us decided to go in the back and NEVER return. One lady just sat and talked the entire time. We ended up leaving and no one said anything to us. WILL NEVER RETURN and personally I think 'Joe' who works there is a terrible employee. read more

I have been with AT&T for 5 years and they have been ok by me for service. This particular store has awesome customer service. So many times they have been willing and able to help. What has happpened to their retail service? Noticed the decline at a previous AT&T store. Here I had to go in to rectify problems with transfer of my internet servcie. They set me up with what I specifically said I didn't want, lied about a refund of $100 service fee - both the regular rep and the area manager! Big reason I went to Verizon to upgrade my cell phone. Keep internet with ATT because it is them or comcast (even worse). read more

I enjoy this store. It's clean, uncluttered with good displays of phones and many other options. Most of all, the people who work there are unfailing pleasant and very knowledgeable. I went in to get a price range on how much it would be to get a new phone from an insurance claim. In the past I was able to receive help and the employee did the whole insurance claim for me which was very helpful. I walk in and no one was busy at all so I figured I could get some much needed help, I was approached by a bald gentleman I didn't get his name because he didn't introduce himself. I told him the situation that I was in and said "let me get you a phone number" and dug around in envelops for about 2 minutes and then just handed me a piece of paper and said "call this number they'll do it for you" and that was it. Didn't pull up any of my information like I had in the past couldn't give me anything but a phone number. Terrible customer service and I've never been more ashamed to be an AT&T customer. read more

I have 6 phones on 1 account, Uverse internet and phone, best service ever, and could not be happier. Ryan Schools that works here is great, personable, and helped my husband out quickly on a rainy morning so we could be on the lake at sun time. I would suggest going online to make an appointment cuts down the wait time. The management now beats the old Centennial Wireless managers that when ATT bought out they got stuck with some poor, rotten managers. I highly recommend the bring your own phone plan, it is great and same bill every month. read more

AT&T has to be the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. If you are considering getting your internet though them don't bother, they likely won't show up. And then when you try and reschedule they'll say they can get to you in 2 weeks. I have tried talking to three different people in person and on the phone and no one is willing or able to do anything. Apparently managers simply don't exist. I asked if I could install it myself, or if they would at least wave the ludicrous installation fee seeing as I took the day of work to wait for nothing, and they said there is nothing they can do. I know for damn sure I'm canceling my phone service with them as soon as I calm down enough to call them again and I'll definitely be going elsewhere for internet. read more

this company is literally the worst experience i have ever had to deal with in my entire life. I have spent at least a dozen hours trying to get the bill out of my name which is actually the bill for the tenant that took over my lease. she added direct tv to the account she took over and never paid and now I'm being told that I'm the primary account holder so they're refusing to do anything about the problem. i am taking this company to court if i can't get this rectified but i have literally never experienced more incompetence with any company. i would never ever ever ever ever ever ever recommend att to anyone because they will screw it up, screw you over and then refuse to fix it. you will never get my money. i would give twice the amount of money to a lawyer to help me rather than pay for a bill for a person that i have no accountability for. this company needs to be training their employees to fix problems rather than reroute the call 50 times to different departments until one department eventually just doesn't answer. I had a great experience at AT&T today. The salesperson was knowledgeable and explained all of our options as we upgraded a phone within our family's plan. He answered all of our questions completely. It was nice to be greeted at the front door, and it's clear that AT&T has stepped up its customer service to compete with the more recent competition. I went there to upgrade my phone. Went there on a Saturday probably a little before lunch. When I walked in, I was promptly greeted, but once I explained I was there to look into upgrading my phone, its as if the pressure changed in the store and I was devalued as a customer. After seeing the expression on the face of the employee change to disappointment, I waited...and waited....and waited....for about 10 mintues patiently and NOBODY even said "hey we know you've been waiting...". I asked how much longer it was going to be and the girl gave me a vague answer about it. I explained that I valued my free time more than hanging out at AT&T on a saturday and explained I'd rather come back when they weren't busy instead of waiting for an indeterminate amount of time. She seemed to be ambivalent about my desire to not fritter my day away in a cell phone store. I decided to leave shortly after that. I have better things to do with my day and I'm not a phone-fiend that needs to have the latest stupid rectangle in my pocket to feel like my life has value. I'll most certainly refrain from walking in that store ever again because if you're not looking to spend hundreds of dollars right then and there, they'd rather you leave too. read more

I don't even know where to start. I would have NEVER signed up for AT&T internet if I knew what a pain it would be. It started out as a weird experience. I thought I would go to AT&T because I have my cell phone through their service. I asked the price and they said it would be $25 to set up internet service through that account. All I had to do was call up my Father right then. They didn't have to speak to him, just had to see me get the okay (I could have been making the whole call up, quite an odd form of verification [I hope no stranger does this to my account]). So I got it and they told me someone was going to come and install my service the fallowing Monday between 8-8pm. So I went out to buy a router (since they are $40 cheaper at Best Buy). Come Monday I am having a lot of trouble setting up my modem. I talk to everyone under the sun including the AT&T store which just gave me another number because they "had no idea how that stuff worked". I finally got on the phone with someone who helped me and we worked through a nice 45 min. conversation to realize THEY DIDN"T EVEN SET UP MY INTERNET!!! Oh joy. It would have been nice if someone called me to tell me they didn't even come to my apartment. So I schedule my weekend, since they told me I could only have someone come during the weekdays til' 5pm (which later turned out to be 9pm, my first installation man told me) so I said I would have to change me plans for the weekend so I could stay home all day (between the hours of 8am-8pm) in case if the repair man came at any point during those 12 hours. He came, and didn't know what to do. He thought that they set up the internet across the street because he didn't have record of anyone coming here the previous Monday. So, we set up the fallowing day a time for someone else to come. I had someone come Monday and after 2-3 hours, he got it to work. I got on the phone one more time to get the account number the store failed to give to me so I could start my service and about an hour later, I HAD INTERNET!!! So because I missed out on my internet that whole week, I went into the store to make sure I wouldn't get billed for the week I didn't have internet. The nice store representative said that everything would be sorted out (he had to call someone to make sure). Jump 5 days later, I GET A BILL FOR THE WEEK I JUST TALKED TO HIM ABOUT! and it was $5 more because they didn't put it on my family plan (that was supposed to give me the $5 discount) ? Instead they sent the bill to my apartment with my Father's name on the bill. I am now trying to get a hold of AT&T billing, whose office is only open til' 5pm ( which I found out after trying to talk to an automated machine for 10 min). I am switching it as soon as I get a hold of them. They don't deserve my service after what they put me through. DON'T GET YOURSELF STUCK IN THIS SITUATION. I would avoid AT&T for internet all together if I could do it again. read more

My mom and I signed up with AT&T 4 years ago, and I don't even know where to begin. We were forced to switch to AT&T when Centennial Wireless went out of business. It was our first contract-oriented phone business. We signed up with them not realizing what kind of mickey mouse organization we were getting ourselves into. The customer service isn't terrible, but it takes you 20 minutes to actually talk to someone because there is no direct freaking option to talk to someone. Why haven't they done something about that yet? Anyways, as long as the warranty is still good on your phone, you won't have to pay an arm and a leg for a new phone, or extend your contract even longer to get a phone for relatively "cheap". I dropped my phone in the toilet once, and they sent me a new phone within the next day or few days after, thankfully because my warranty was still good. They were really nice too. That's not enough to change my mind about them though. If your warranty expires, or you want to use their go-phones, prepare for the run-around, because it's all you will get. They just want your money. After my first phone crapped out on me, I bought an iPhone for $20 bucks, off the website with no warning whatsoever that it would extend our contract. And no insurance, because it would have been $99 dollars a month. HA. It didn't say on the website, when I got it, no warning. So I called to have it turned on, and they told me not only would it extend our contract, but they would tack on a minimum of $15 dollars for a data plan. I was prepared for that though. Safe to say with those Apple phones, it doesn't take long for them to crap out too, I took it in 3 times, and they had to replace the Sim Card on it twice before the phone itself called it quits, so I had to get yet, another phone. And guess what to get another phone like that, I would have to extend our contract to get another iPhone. F*** That. I found out they run a go-phone program. It's pay as you go. I was all over that. Only thing is, I had to pay another $149.99 plus tax for their best go-phone which has a keyboard, because I am an avid texter. I love the phone, and have had no issues with it. After I switched to Boost Mobile after a particularly bad month because I had the go-phone put on the contract with my mom, so I downgraded my side of the plan as much as I could, and started paying the $50 dollars a month with Shrinkage through Boost and purchased a Samsung Galaxy S2. I then came to the horrible realization that I have NO service at my house. I went to AT&T to get my phone switched over because I was led to believe that AT&T would accept my phone. Well, I was wrong. They refused to take my phone, and told me about their new trade in program. You can trade in your smartphone, and get $100 dollars MINIMUM towards the purchase of a new phone. They didn't have any "trade in gift cards." they apparently put the credit on the cards, because they can't have you taking their money and going elsewhere. Well fine. So I put $25 dollars on my phone, which equals out to 250 Minutes, and unlimited text on my phone, and left. I ran out of minutes later in the month, and went to walmart and bought another $25 dollar card to put more minutes on my phone. After fighting with my phone for over an hour trying to put the code on my phone to get the minutes, I called their customer service center. MISTAKE. It was Sunday. after sitting on a phone for 20 minutes listening to the freaking computer, I finally got it to transfer me to their 24/7 customer service center. The phone rang twice, and another computer picked up. They were CLOSED. WHAT. THE. FLIP. I went in earlier today, and waited not too long with my Galaxy, my iPhone, and the smartphone Go-phone, ready to trade them in, get a phone, and leave. I was then told that I would need to be in a contract with them to participate in the program. I told the nice lady, that I will never get sucked into a contract with them due to the fact that I've been screwed over by them in the past, and that I'd rather go back to Boost where I have no service, and at least they are straight up with me, than deal with them again, She didn't seem bothered by that. So I thanked her and left. I'm going back to Boost. At least my payments will shrink. read more
