Recently I purchased a new phone and received a different plan with a good value to go along with the new iPhone. It took a really long time due to changing from prepaid to postpaid with a multiline account. Juan the Assistant Manager & the other manager gave the absolute WORST service I've ever received from any establishment. Once we walked into the store we were immediately directed to call AT&T customer instead of being attended by someone in person. When asking for help AGAIN, Juan then proceeded to argue with the customer service line attendant instead of actually wanting to help. He stated he was "unable to find the phone number/account", but when we went to another AT&T store they were immediately able to find the account. Very disrespectful. read more

Concerning the AT&T store at 7800 N MacArthur Blvd in Irving, TX, the manager Natalia was the most apathetic, rudest and nastiest person I've dealt with in a long time. The fact she is a manager anywhere is appalling. All I wanted to do was buy a pre-paid bring your own phone 3-in-1 sim card for $5 and for some strange reason she refused to sell me one! I asked her why she wouldn't sell me one when they sell them everywhere like Walmart for $5. She told me to go buy one at Walmart then! - So I did. Walmart had them for $5 and I bought one no problems at all (see attached photo.) Natalia was very rude and nasty, a terrible customer service representative. She was also completely covered in tattoos, not a good look for a manager in my opinion. Before I went up there I spoke with an AT&T rep on the phone who told me to go up there and buy one of those sim cards so I did but Natalia very rudely refused to sell me one for some strange reason. If you want to have a good smooth experience then I suggest you never go to this store. You would have a better experience if you hit your finger with a hammer. read more

This AT&T really needs some new management or the employees need more training. I bought my new iPhone here without a hitch. My husband, on the other hand, could not place or receive phone calls on his new phone. We returned to the store and waited, and waited, and waited. The quoted time was 10 minutes, when it ended up being 30 minutes. It was packed. I then noticed a pretty young woman walk in, and amazingly, one of the male employees found time to drop everything and help her. For real?? And, if you look at my store pic, you can also see two employees who were joined at the hip, chatting and playing on the computer, oblivious to all of the impatient customers. Terrible customer service. Bought an iphone 15 pro max from them feb 2nd that turned out to not work properly day one a soon as I left the store. Reported the issue right away to att, just to be given the run around up to this point. I have been sent back and forth to apple with att refusing to replace the defective phone without charging me another fee even though I didn't damage the phone. It's Feb 22nd and still haven't gotten a bit of help from them. Apple has been more help and better customer service. Choose another company they will not take care of you when you have an issue. They will not take accountability and will definitely trying to charge you even if you have gotten a defective item from them. Going to get a new cell phone when your other phone dies is almost as bad as buying a car. This location is no exception. AT&T is a massive company with extremely poor customer service and expect you to have done your research on what you want and need before you walk in. Or at least that is what I learned on my last visit here. I walked in and they enter your name in a high tech-ish looking tablet and then you watch the big screen for your name to show you how many are ahead of you. They just leave you to wander the spacious store to see almost no product for sale or sit on uncomfortable stools. The displays don't really tell you much and remind me of the big box store tags that tell you less. I learned nothing as I wandered about for 15 minutes. Finally my name is called and I get an associate who tells me what I knew; my phone is dead and AT&T no longer can fix. Luckily I had the insurance which amounted to me buying the new phone over the past 3 years. The phone options were somewhat sparse. I went with the MOTO Z2. Never was I told about the special offers for the free mods. They were only interested in adding the new phone to the plan and getting me out to work the next customer. I won't hold the 35 minutes I was handed a phone to talk to the insurance company against this location as that company isn't part of AT&T. The store just sell service and the phone is how they get the money for the service from you. Almost no accessories for the almost $800 phone. They were cheaper at a big box store and online anyway, which the associate told me. Horrible customer service skills. Manager was just concerned about getting the customers out of the store. I even spoke with him on my way out to give feedback. Sadly, I'll find some other AT&T store in a few years when this phone dies. read more

This store is a great representation of the worst in customer service, retail and capitalism. I went to the store because of the poor phone and home service connection and after calling their "customer service" line multiple times a day and they told me to go the store. The last day I was ever a customer with AT&T was due to a visit at this store. There was an arrogant female manager who said she can't help me. I was a customer with AT&T for 15 years exclusively for personal cell, home internet and our business needs. That day and after all the calls with customer service, I switched to Spectrum internet for personal and business, Verizon for personal, T-Mobile for our business needs. That was 2 years ago. While there have been occasional connection issues or problems it has been nowhere near what it was with AT&T (every week, sometimes daily/multiple times a day). I have called maybe 2-3 times tops the past 2 years for issues but they were resolved and the customer service team was not rude unlike AT&Ts. I also make sure to articulate that when AT&T workers in Sam's/Costco come to sell me things. Without fail almost every time I say no, they ask why and I tell them, there is usually another former AT&T customer with a similar experience. I don't care how many discounts there are or even if it is free.. I won't use AT&T or pay them from my end, when I have a choice. read more

I went in last Friday snd it was cold and dreary weather. However Aagya was so sunny warm hearted and professional. She helped me with upgrading my phone and exploring prices/features between iPhone X and 11. In the end she and my son helped point out the differences and similarities so I chose the 11. She made sure of the iCloud backup, set up new iPhone, helped me with resetting passwords b c I never remember them. I cant tell you how impressed I am with Aagya and her easy going manner. I am decades older than her and yet found common ground to discuss features snd benefits of the new iPhone. What a stressful Friday afternoon my girlfriend and I had at this AT&T location off North MacArthur in Irving. We initiated a Release of Responsibility with the Corporate Customer Service folks (my girlfriend was on a Family Plan with her sisters and Mom), and were told to visit the Corporate Store to setup a new account with my girlfriend's recently released number. We were not helped for over fifteen minutes, despite checking in and making an appointment at 3:00pm and arriving five minutes early. Anne (Wisconsin native) greeted us and took us through the "don't of Customer Service" for twenty odd minutes... It was a hellish nightmare. The lady was as coarse as she was dull and lacking the correct policies and information. She stressed us out so badly that I pulled Eric, the GM, aside and explained our frustration with Anne, that she would be receiving negative feedback, and all he could do at this point was save the sale. He quickly came to our aide and made a point to dismiss Anne rather subtly after correct her mistakes right in front of her--epic. He got everything back-on-track and also pulled Evan, a pleasant, chirpy and hilarious Sales Rep from the back. Our time with Evan was awesome and even turned our entire two hours there around. AT&T is a telecom company that sells wireless, TV, and home network services. This AZT&T is attached to an AT&T service center that also handles support issues. This is a review for both. My Overall Rating: AT&T Retail - 3 1/2 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Facility, Return) AT&T Support - 3 Stars (Service, Facility, Return) Atmosphere - Retail - You're greeted at the door a huge floor showcasing technology. It's really great and gives you the same vibe heading into a car dealership. Lots of nice shiny toys await! 1 Star. Support - Usually there's a line, and customers there looks tired, bored, or like they would rather be somewhere else. Look, if you're here chances are your phone is broken so expect a darker mood. No Stars. Service - Retail - You are greeted at the door and signed in. Once it's your turn, a sales associate will help you with all your needs. For the most part they are helpful. What I find is they're not really that objective, and tend to try to steer you to the most expensive device, not the one that's best for you. One poor lady had an iPhone 3GS, and wanted something basic and similar. Instead of offering the iPhone 5c, he insisted she HAD to get a 5s with NEXT. Also, if you are in the U-verse zip code, expect a STRONG pitch. Even if you say no they will persist. But they are friendly in my experiences. The last thing that is slightly annoying is you'll be reminded to fill out a survey. Some associates have really pushed to make sure you'll give them a good score. Guess what? If you're honest & helpful you'll get great scores, so stop pressuring me. 1/2 Star. Support - Usually it's a really long wait, but once you get to a tech they're very helpful. Unfortunately I have had to use them several times, and except for the wait, they're very professional and will do what they can within your contract. 1 1/2 Star. Facility - Retail - This AT&T store has a great layout. It's a very open space, with individual tables for customers, a few couches to watch U-Verse, and several areas showcasing their phones and technology. It doesn't feel cramped and is quite refreshing. It would be nice to have more seats for waiting when it gets busy. 1 Star. Support - Pretty much just a room with two long benches for waiting. At least you can watch TV. 1/2 Star. Will I Return? - Yes (to both). As far as the retail side goes, I'm an A&T customer and they seem to have the best phones. Although they are expensive and will push U-verse and NEXT on you, the associates are friendly. Also, the Support team (once it's your turn) are professional and will try to do whatever they can for you. It would be nice if all phones lasted forever, but it is what it is. 1 Star. My Yelp Rating Scale (Sum of all parts): 1 Star - Atmosphere - Is it a cool dive? Perhaps an upscale place? No matter the type, atmosphere plays a big part and I'll give a star if I like it or thinks it has great charm. 2 Stars - Service - You can have a great car with bad service. But that's also what can make a five star joint drop to four. It's important to the experience that service is great and on point. 1 Star - Facility - I'll award 1 stars for the facility, since this is one reason we go out. 1 Star - Will I come back? - If I know for a fact I'll return, I'll give this a star. A place has to make an impression for me to return. Each Category can be given up to 1 star except service (2 stars) because I consider all these categories important to the overall dining experience. I've been going to this location for 4yrs +. I ONLY go to this location because generally each visit is short and sweet . Today may be my last time . So, I come in and the Greeter guy Alex asks me how can they help me. Well, "I'd like to warranty exchange the case I've bought from this location , for a different one because the buttons for the volume have fallen off." Alex , before doing anything else, asks for my iphone . Inspects it . Tosses and turns it and hands it back . "Sorry we can't help you" I asked why not? It's in warranty if a manufacturer product fails, I'm obligated to exchange my product within a year of purchase.." Alex replies " well it's got a crack in the case so we can't exchange it"; My response was ," I've came in here for this same exact case because it had cracked and the oil had leaked out and you were all happy to help me, what's the difference of this " Alex:" sorry ma'am can't help." So I asked where can I find a copy of my warranty exchange agreement?" Alex told me on the bottom on my receipt from when I purchased . I asked him, if he was able to reprint the receipt for me please and his response was "i can get someone to help you but it's like a two hour wait and it'll be awhile" *at this point of the conversation , the atmosphere is incredibly tense . It's clear he doesn't want to help me . So I ask to be on the waiting list to speak with someone for a reprint and he asks me what my name is and waved me off. My advice to Alex is don't work customer service jobs if you don't want to service customers . read more

I stopped by to make a payment to my account at their kiosk tonight and got there at 9:14, they closed at 9:00. I knocked on the door to try to get someone's attention since they had 2 other customers in the store. I wanted to make a substantial cash payment at the kiosk, which would have taken less than 5 minutes. When I knocked on the door, 3 employees turned around and looked me directly in the eye, then all scurried into the back room like 3 scared mice who had just seen a big evil cat who was trying to get in and eat them. When one employee came out, she refused to let me walk to the kiosk to make my phone bill payment. The SINGLE WORST EXAMPLE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!!!!!!! I am contacting them tomorrow to find out who the store manager is of this location. I will be speaking with their supervisor as well as regional leadership. Walk into the store a few minutes after the store opened and 2 other people were already waiting. I was told to wait and someone would be right with me. There were 4 other associates on the floor. Another lady walked in about 10min later and was helped right away. 2 more associates come into work and I along with the other original 2 were still left waiting. After waiting 35min I and another guy left. It's ridiculous that someone else was helped right away and it's absurd that none of the associates felt the urgency to help the guests already in the store. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE! They don't even deserve 1 star I've been an ATT customer for almost 15 years now, I've never really had an issue with them and that's only cause I kept my business with them simple, don't do promotions, just upgrade my phone every 2-3 years. So then this past feb I made the mistake of buying into a promotion. We walked into the store to buy my wife and new iphone 8 because her old one was outdated. I had a 7 with which I was perfectly content. The guy at the store kept pushing some BOGO deal for the iphone x despite telling him that we weren't interested but he was eventually able to convince me, he also mentioned that if we get cable service with that we get it for $30 bucks a month plus a $200 gift care after 2 months. He said that we would get HD channels and the sports package, so finally he was able to fool us into the plan. This is what he told us for the BOGO free phones, we both got the X, he said for the first two months we would be charged approx. 33$ per phone and starting the month three we would only be charged for one phone plus for the next two months we would be credited back the $33 we paid on the "free" phone. we patiently waited noticed that we were charged for both phones on our March and April cycles, on our May bill we still had the charge, I called ATT cust service, they said that now its three months then you get credited, fine.. June and July same thing.. finally in july after 2 more unsuccessful conversations with cust service I went to the store to speak with the same person, he wasn't there and they couldn't tell me the name of the guy who made the sale. They said that they couldn't help me with anything but did call customer service for me and supposedly added the BOGO free promotion to my account since it was never added... even though I called 3 times already, 3 weeks later I call them again and its still not added. today is Aug 2 I called cust service, the rep couldn't find it and is supposedly going to do research and call me back. now as far as the cable, they came in and installed it, the cable package sucks, we only get SD basic channels no sports channels and I decided to look past it because we do have Direct TV now through ATT which works fine. But we still haven't gotten the gift card. Supposedly this guy forgot to tell us that we had to activate the card, finally I was given a number to the rewards center in July, they "activated" it and sent it out, still no card, called them today they sent it again but will not given me written confirmation. I have been paying for cable for almost 6 months that I haven't used. This is such a horrible experience, if you go in here know what you want, do not let these people upsell you into anything, if they try it do not leave without written confirmation. Just keep the visits simple or find a different store where employees are held accountable for their actions. I never wanted to change out of ATT because of how long ive been with them, but I will give them another month to see if they fix this mess. Nice and spacious atmosphere. Great store set up as far as aesthetics are concerned. Organization organizational skills are terrible. They have a numbering system for walk-in customers, but they call people out of order. Not just out party, but multiple other patrons in the store that we talked to as well. Not sure if certain employees have restricted access with which customers they can help, but there are multiple employees walking around not doing anything. Employees are hesitant to give detailed answers when you approach them with the issue. read more

Getting a hold of a live person well like finding a needle in a hay stack. You go through this massive telephone prompting and give them all your details then the person ask you for your details. I had to spend hours on phone with different agents and also visit the store to get my internet installation fee removed cause the plan I chose doesn't have one but I was being charged for it everytime.
