Juan on register 71, date 10-24-2023 took care of adding my international pass to my current phone plan. He answered all of my questions with ease, was very friendly. I asked him about current offers as well and gave me all the information I needed. This stop was a walk in and it only took me 5 mins tops. One other thing I noticed was they had an armed security guard. I was surprised to see that but it was a welcome treat and I hope all stores do this in the future. It certainly makes me feel safer and I'm sure the employees feel much safer as well. My review isn't specific to this store, but to the company more generally. It was a truly awful experience being a mobile customer of AT&T. They will bill you for a final entire month of service regardless of when you cancel (even if you do not have a contract). They hide behind the fact that it is in their terms of service, but it is a TERRIBLE policy regardless of whether they presented it to you in the fine print or not. Also, it's difficult to get to a human representative and when you do, they can't help you anyway. I will never be their customer again. read more

It's not so much the store, it's the company. Aside from being crooks, ATT rarely has service in this part of town. The internet bills go up at pretty steady intervals and they are generally unapologetic about that. STAY AWAY FROM THIS AT&T STORE. I have never dealt with a more incompetent group of tech people. I went in to spend a ton of money buying a new I-phone. They were very helpful and efficient until they had my money. Then the problems began. First I find out it take HOURS for them to transfer apps and data because they have bad internet in the store (ironic since it's an AT&T store). Since they told me it would take several hours to synch my new phone I left it there. They promised me a call if there were problems or when it was ready. Nobody ever called. I finally called them 4 hours later. My rep Humberto was long gone (first I was told he was at lunch at 4pm, later they admitted they didn't know where he was). Then they told me a problem had occurred during my synch. I came to the store and nobody could figure out the problem or help me. So they just punted me to AT&T tech support-which couldn't help me either. 6.5 Hours later all I have for my money spent at this store is two very computerized bricks, one old, one brand new, neither of which work as a smartphone. The sales associate (Dominique) tried to scam my husband and I out of $336 dollars on some made up charges that were quoted way differently that what we were quoted by AT&T customer service. Then when we called customer service in the store and got the correct information over the phone he tried to cop an attitude with us. He tried everything he could to keep us from getting the discount that we were owed...even going so far as to disconnect our phone call from the customer service agent on his iPad app. All of this shady predatory tactics just to get a commission. I recently had an interesting experience with ATT. I have been a customer for 4 1/2 years with no complaints. I called their customer service on Monday to resolve and issue. I thought it would be quick and easy but I could not believe how rudely I was treated. I was basically accused of lying. I spoke with a rep. and her supervisor and was appalled at the their rude behavior. So I went into the ATT store on Taylor St. where I had done business before. My experience was completely opposite. The two Managers and another employee, Andrea, were extremely helpful! They listened to my problem and seemed genuinely concerned. They treated me with respect. I would give zero stars but you can't. Update the manager was talking with my husband but he went MIA as well so week 6 and no tv so we are canceling it. Very unprofessional employees. Never ever sign up for service here you will get the run around. We signed up for phone and tv because we already had internet. Well after giving our old cellphones to them it just kept going downhill from there. The guy came Friday to hook the tv up but wanted to move the internet box to the side of the tv even though we already paid to move it in the kitchen. So Arturo was supposed to get att to waive the fee and give us a new appointment for Tuesday 8am to 12pm well I stayed at home and waited and come to find out Arturo made us a appointment but didn't assign a  technician so now we have to wait until Friday for tv 2 total weeks without tv. Also, to give this location our phones Arturo was supposed to put me on our account when I went back to give him my phone he was at lunch and this guy that is listening to music on his apple earbuds, might I add apparently he can't hear anything on those earbuds I had to repeat everything. Meanwhile he said he couldn't take a phone that I was giving to yall because Arturo never put me in the system so I had to call Arturo and get a girl there to help me. So last Friday I was on Att chat for 4 hours trying to get someone to help me get my tv hooked up I would had thought the person that signed my husband up would had taken care of everything guess not. Finally Arturo got the fee waived that should had already been waived. But since out appointment was messed up yesterday I had to get on chat, my husband had to call THIS STORE which no one knows where the manager is all 3 times my husband called. Arturo started to text and call to help even said he was working with his manager on his day off but he started to ignore my husband calls and ignore my texts and finally someone at Att helped us get a appointment. When I woke up it said Arturo read my texts but ignored them so no help from him getting our tv hooked up no help getting the appointment he messed up fixed. I finally found Siri.... So after owning my iPhone 3 (no G) for 5 years I finally decided to upgrade to the iPhone 5. I've grown so attached to my 3 that it was so hard to say goodbye :) but I did it. Met up with my bro (who wanted to upgrade too) and got help from Andro. He was awesome. He was very helpful with the whole process. He transferred our contacts and explained how to sync our phones. It was a quick in and out and his sense of humor helped pass the time. Overall it was a great experience and I'd def recommend this location. If this is your closest AT&T store, I would recommend driving a little further not to have to deal with the unhelpful people at this sore. I purchased a phone from this sore on January 3. There was a 45 minute wait, but the staff person was helpful enough about making a sale when it was my turn. After 10 days, I was having issues with the phone and decided to return it. I went at about 1 on a Tuesday, and again they told me to expect a 30 to 45 minute wait. After a 45 minute wait, I explained I would like to return my phone and get a new one. They checked that the return was in order, but did not have the new phone I wanted. So I told the employee to process the return, and I would order the new phone online. He said, "if you come back tomorrow at 9 am, we will have the phone you are looking for. Our phone shipment is arriving at 8 am and the store opens at 9. I will be here and I can help you then." Sadly, that's not how it played out. At 9am I get to the store, there is thankfully no wait, and I explain the situation again to a new employee because the guy from yesterday wasn't there. Again I ask, "can I just return this phone and order the new one online because I'm running out of return window." Again they tell me, "you don't want to do that, we will have the phone you want later today. Our shipment always comes before 1pm." OK. Call me when the shipment comes, and I'll come back. I'll come back. Tick tock tick tock... 1pm, 2pm... 5pm... 7pm... At 7 pm, I finally decided to call them. A man answered the phone, I explained, he said he would find out if the shipment came. I remained on hold for 17 minute, decided he had forgotten me, mourned a little over out brief but hopeful relationship and hung up. I tried again! This time a lady answered. She said the shipment had come! But they hadn't gotten stations to unpacking it yet. That wouldn't happen until the following day. "You're welcome to check back around noon," she says. More work for me, OK. So today I waited till 1 to be really sure they had time. I called again. Please let them have unpacked by now. The employee who answered the phone said he didn't "know about any shipment". Could he check on it? NO. I would have to come in for that. could he make an appointment so I won't have to wait 45 minutes. NO. You can do that online. Funny, if you had processed my return two days ago, my new phone would probably be here! Instead, I am just waiting for my appointment. read more

I was having a problem with my phone and I went in the ATT store at the Heights location. Both Michael and the assistant manager, Erica did a great job in researching my issue, discussing my options with me and ultimately letting me exchange my phone even though I was a few days over the time limit. I had been out of the country and they were able to verify that because I had purchased a package for long distance in Europe. They were both professional and very knowledgeable. They did not have to let me exchange my phone, but I really really appreciate it. I highly recommend this ATT store, and especially Michael and Erica! BTW, the Nokia 1020 is awesome! read more

I searched for a store that had both white and black 64GB in stock. I went to the store, explained to the exchange to the lady at the front taking peoples name. Initially she said I would most likely have to do the exchange online, to which I replied "If that's the case then that would make the 4th person telling me something different." Her was response was "I don't doubt that." First sign I should have went somewhere else. Once a rep got to me he said he would need to check stock in the back. After 5-10 mins he comes back and says he has no 64GB in stock. I ask about the online inventory, to which he says the online inventory isn't accurate. Which I understand it won't always be, but I find highly unlikely that the store had neither white or black. So while waiting for him to find stores with devices in stock I had my partner call the store and ask if they had a 64gb in stock. Guess what? They did! So instead of dealing with the BS, I told them to cancel the order. Once I got home my partner told me he received a text saying the email on my account had been changed. The Rep or Manager at the store changed the email on my account to NA@NA.com in hopes I wouldn't notice, and wouldn't receive a survey. Not only is this a downright terrible practice, but also an invasion of my security and privacy. I have already called AT&T about the Issue, but I will also be emailing corporate. read more

I am writing this review to give this location a personal applaud. I had an iphone 3G and wanted the 4. I went in on a Saturday afternoon and 15m later I walked out with my phone. Maria has her A-game up and running. I was searching for a particular case and she said she would text me when they came in. Imagine my shock when that text came through. People just don't run business like that anymore. I felt loved. The next time I visited it has been the same experience. The location was the first phone service location that I've been to that felt super clean, professional, and friendly. Prior to visiting, I called a different store to make sure I was going to the right location for the service I needed, and that store's representative (Off Studemont) was very friendly and informative when recommending this store instead. I didn't have an appointment, however it took maybe 10 minutes of waiting until I was helped out. Juan C helped me port my phone, and was very very informative over deals, and was not pushy whatsoever when I expressed disinterest. Great customer service from both him and the other employees. Also great covid-response, as everything was wiped down, all employees were wearing their masks, using desk shields, and maintaining distance. It is unfortunate that I have to come to this, but here we are! I have been with AT&T for 14 years. In fourteen years I have paid nearly $17K for phone service when you average each bill at $100 monthly, which is well below what I have been paying. Recently I saw that Tmobile is running a deal for $80 Jon and I can have unlimited everything because he is active military. So I called ATT on April 23rd and told them we wanted to switch because my bill was $168 for two lines. I spoke with a man, and he was able to lower my bill to $119. I was told that would be AFTER all the taxes and fees and to expect to see our reduced bill next month. I was ecstatic! I felt uberly appreciated and told all the people around me that said they were switching to Tmobile to check out At&T first. A couple of people even said to me that they had also decided to stay with AT&t after calling and having their bill lowered. The next month came, and it was STILL nearly $160. So I called for a resolution. I was ready to switch to T-Mobile yet again. The billing department sent me to "the loyalty group." Who sent me to Ashley (ID number AM616) and she apologized adamantly. She had $60 waived off my bill, and we agreed to $100 in charges. She stated that the last rep who set my bill up did it wrong and he didn't place me on the "grandfathered plan." Therefore only leaving me with $100 to pay for that month since the last rep had messed up. She assured me that after auto-pay my bill would be around $97. This was with everything out the door. She said not to expect precisely $97 but that it would for sure be less than $100 with auto pay on the next billing cycle. Being that I have been with AT&T so long, I agreed that I would be willing to pay a little more than I would if I were to switch to Tmobile. I felt confident this was the right answer. Nonetheless, I made sure to take detailed notes just in case. This last Saturday 6/23/2018 the automatic pay took out $142.32 from my account. I was surprised and irate. I called ATT today on 6/25/18, and the first rep I spoke with told me there was nothing she could do. She was insistent the last rep waived that fee as a courtesy and that she wasn't going to do it again. I asked to speak with a manager. She said that the manager would call me back by the end of the day. Her reasoning was an array of fees and charges that she stated could be seen on my bill. I explained to her that attempting to read the statement on their website is similar to trying to decipher the Rosetta stone and that no average person would understand exactly what it means. She then told me she wasn't in billing and she could understand it just fine. And that was where I asked to speak with a manager. The manager called me back a few hours later. Her name was Megan W, and she refused to give me her ID because she stated that she is was not required to. She said that Ashley was wrong, and that so was the first gentleman that set me up with a different plan back in April. By the time I got off the phone with her, and she calculated, recalculated and changed various things she said my bill SHOULD be around $103.20. Which apparently as stated by her is nowhere near $97 and that she wasn't going to waive anything. She explained that Ashley was in the wrong and that my billing yet again wasn't set up right, and that auto pay would take 2-3 billing cycles to discount my plan hence why my plan was $143 and I will have to pay that. Plus apparently, I have insurance that equated to $18 a month that also was factored in by Ashley or the previous guy. Which I was told by Ashley previously was included in that $97. I asked her to get ahold of Ashley. Her response was "She is in a different call center that's not here. What do you expect me to get in my car and drive to her house?" After being incredibly rude to me (not that I was any nicer, but hey, that's not my job) I asked to speak with a manager higher than her. She told me someone would contact me within 72 hours. Clearly, at this point, I'm beyond annoyed. I want my bill to be fixed, and I want answers from ONE person that can tell me how and why this is happening. Fourteen years and I have never had a problem with AT&T until the last few months. Needless to say, we're going by Tmobile tonight. If my last farewell to AT&T is having to pay this ridiculous bill then sayonara At&T! However, before leaving, I can't help but spread the word on just how utterly absurd this whole situation is. I went here for an upgrade on my IPhone. I went on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprised that I did not have to wait at all! Faradeen was the associate that helped me and he was very knowledgeable about all the questions that I had. He was also very good about explaining all the different aspects of my contract and my service agreement. In the end, I didn't upgrade, because I decided it would be better to wait until the iPhone 7.0 was released. (I also appreciated the fact he was not pushy!) He also noticed that I was paying way to much for my service and changed my plan to a better plan that would accommodate my needs and in the end saves me $50/month!! How awesome is that!!?? Wow, yesterday was a huge test in patience! My IPhone decided to dive into the toilet yesterday morning. In my panic, I jerked the tray out and my SIM card and tray went flying. Thank goodness I found the tray. The SIM card is still MIA! After work I went straight to AT&T. Ari greeted me at the door and informed me it would be at least an hour wait since there were 10 people ahead of me. After waiting patiently, it was finally my turn. I was told since only my husband was on the account I would have to call him and have him add me. Then the guy proceeded to walk off to help the next customer. After waiting awhile, Tin (who is my new hero) asked me if I had been helped. I told him sort of, but not really. Tin looked up our account, which my husband stopped his busy day to call customer service and add me, looked at my drivers license and took it from there. Tin was so cheerful and professional!!! This store has terrible customer service. Our phones were running slow and so we went in to see what it would be to upgrade them. The salesman inspected both phones and said we would receive the full trade in value for each phone towards new phones. Given this information we decided to upgrade, but had to wait for the new phones to arrive (like everything these days). Waiting was not a problem, we understood it's not a big deal. The problem is when we received our new phones and went to drop off the trade-ins, we were told that one of our phones no longer qualified (absolutely nothing had changed about this phone. NOTHING). We were told by the store manager that the salesman made a mistake and now we were responsible for making it right. Or we can call the loyalty center. Bonus points:loyalty center is only open Monday through Friday. Needless to say we are unimpressed. My husband and I have been AT&T customers our entire adulthood and both of our families have been since AT&T was Cingular. Ver dissatisfied with the dishonesty at this store and lack of customer service. We just want the credit that was guaranteed to us when we made the decision to upgrade, we would have planned differently if we had been told from the start that one phone would not be eligible for trade-in value. read more

I cringe at the thought of going into phone stores, but our experience here was surprisingly good. We wanted to add a line to our cell phone plan, get two new phones, and convert to a Mobile Messaging plan where we could share data between the two lines. The store was busy, but we were greeted promptly and put on a list which is displayed on a monitor. The list grew from three to eight and our wait grew over 20 minutes. Though that did give us time to look at the phones and also review the printed plan materials and figure out what we wanted. When it was our turn, David helped us and was prompt and courteous. We got our phones, he explained all the charges, we weren't rushed, no pressure. He copied over our contacts and we were on our way. Really impressed. read more

I had a terrible experience. I was on the 18 month next program and came in to trade in my iPhone. The salesperson assigned to me could not answer basic questions about my trade-in options and could not explain my plan or my options to me. I canceled Direct TV, Internet, and Phone with them on 2/18/2020 but they STOLE my money as they would not cancel the service until March 1, even though all equipment was returned on 2/18/2020. I had to go back 3 times to finally get my issue resolved. Some of the issue was caused because of these employees. There is NO communication at this location. After my complaining, Rolanda said for my trouble she would send us a phone case. Never received it. THEN half a month later I find out they signed me up with insurance which I did NOT Order. I called Rolanda back, she apologized and said she would take care of it. When the bill came I called AT&T customer service and found that she did NOT take care of it. Run away from this store! I have been getting emails for a $300.00 Visa card if I switch to Direct TV. I called they approved me and set up installation for 9/17, but no one showed up. After talking to a supervisor Mark ID# JC698D told me I was never on the schedule. So I missed a full day of work for nothing. He set me up for 9/29 gave me confirmation # 4251914101A and now I find out my order has been cancelled and no one knows why. Sorriest AT&T I've been to. Planned on switching from T-Mobile to AT&T.... Got to the location to further understand issues we were having when trying to switch lines over. To begin with, when we were trying to explain what was wrong the guy had the look on his face like he didn't wanna hear it, after explaining everything to him he said, "so the phones messed up" like in other words saying, after all the explaining we did to him we could've just said that... when in fact, that wasn't the issue... we wanted to give T-Mobile phones back to them and receive phones from AT&T... said we weren't eligible to do so, I don't see why. He told us to call T-Mobile and talk to them, stayed on the phone trying to resolve the issue for about an hour or 2. KEEP IN MIND MY MOM TALKED TO T-MOBILE HERSELF, he didn't even assist in helping us talking to them or communicate with T-Mobile. Didn't offer us chairs to sit down, just had us standing there on the phone when we could've just called them at home if we had known that's the kind of assurance we were going to receive. Ended up switching back to T-Mobile because of all the inconvenient crap we had to deal with with AT&T. Not to mention, we didn't even get asked by the guy if everything was okay or needed help with anything. All the employees that worked there are very unhelpful and should all be fired. The first time we went to AT&T to get the issue resolved, we "thought" it was fixed and ended up turning into another problem just because one of the guys that worked there put in a wrong account # that I had clearly wrote on a piece of paper. They had to cancel the order and do it again, which led to us waiting for our freaking phones even longer. So that guy was useless, went to AT&T again today to get issue resolved in person by somebody else, still had a sorry employee help us while the other one just stood there and looked at me all creepy. Worst customer service experience ever. I ordered a phone last week. I was told to come in once I received the email stating that it had been delivered. I received that email today. When I arrived at the store, the same agent that helped me order the phone was there. I told him I got the email. I showed him the email and he said he had to go get it out of the mail box. After 20 minutes looking for the mailbox key, he came in with the phone. After plugging some numbers into his iPad he said he had to go to the back. 20 mins later he came back and said he couldn't sell me the phone because it wasn't in the inventory yet, and the manger who has authority to add it to the inventory wasn't there. In fact, there wasn't a manager at all! How does a retail store not have a manager in the building at all!?!?! Needless to say, I will not be staying with AT&T. read more

Indian manager guy promised me a $25 credit applied to my account as compensation for a frustrating situation regarding a billing problem.
