This is a horrible store to go to. Starting from most of the Staff members that works there, they offer horrible customer service and will ignore and give you the run around. It all started when I came in to get 1 simple Internet Air for my Business and carlos and huey tricked me into switching all my services to them when I was a loyal T-Mobile customer for over 20 years. Once they saw that I switched, it was the start of my problems and since they already got their commissions, they treated me like I didn't exist. My bill is almost 3 times higher than what they promised me it would be. When it comes to telling lies and manipulating people to their advantage, these guys are excellent in these field. They will lie to you in your face repeatedly, give you the run around, send you in circles on a wild goose chase, will not help you and will prolong your situation all while smiling in your face pretending that they're helping you. It gets even worse, when you go in the store, they will ignore you and act like they didn't recognize you just so you would leave. The Store Manager irwin also wont respond or assist you as I had made over 30 visits to the store and my issues are still not resolved. Please do not let them trick you into their con ways, ask to see the agreement in black and white before you sign so later, you can hold them to it because they are good at selling you bogus and not delivering it. They also cant get anything pulled up and will tell you to come back as we cant help you. With T-Mobile, I've never had these issues. In my 20+ years with T-Mobile, I only went in the T-Mobile store maybe about 4 times VS with them, in a matter of 2 months, I've made over 30 visits to the store alone and have wasted countless hours dealing with them in person and over the phone. At the end of the day, please either go to a different store or better yet, with a different provider as these guys are just there to make sales and with that, their commission and that's all that matters to them. I'm a pretty pissed off AT&T customer at the moment. I came here early afternoon to pick up an iPhone X I purchased online for my dad, it was supposed to be his early Christmas gift because he was still rockin' an iPhone 6. I show up to the store and immediately am put on a waitlist. And that's fine, no big deal, I was the only one waiting. I didn't get help from someone until almost 20-25 minutes later. Once I actually got the chance to speak with someone, the process took less than 10 minutes to pickup the iPhone I bought online. Great. I meet up with my dad, and I'm helping him with activating and migrating all of the data over from the old iPhone to the new. To be clear, I am no dummy.. I have had an iPhone since the original iPhone and I have worked in IT for over 10 years, I understand how to use these products extremely well. Right out of the box during the setup process I noticed something wrong with the WiFi of this phone and after messing with it for almost 3 hours I had to break the news to my dad and let him know I can't let him keep this crap because it's not functioning the way it should. I call the store before I make my way over to confirm that I can exchange this because it is faulty, they said yes. So I drove over there and you can only guess what happens next.. yup... They wouldn't exchange it. Instead they wanted to refer me to an Apple Store, and have it exchanged there because my time isn't valuable at all.. ok. I said no and would like to just return the product and get my money back. They were happy to return the phone.... but not without slapping a $55 restocking fee. YEAH! An EFFING restocking fee for a faulty product that they sold me. Anyone who has ever worked in customer service at some point in their life knows that these fees can be waved, but they refused to. After wasting an entire day on these AT&T punks I didn't care about the fee anymore. Just take the phone. I've been with AT&T since it was Cingular Wireless, if you know then you know that's a long ass time. Almost two decades. I expect better customer service after being loyal to a company for so long but these AT&T punks don't give a damn. I've thought long and hard over the years about switching to a different carrier because the prices at AT&T are stupid high now but now after this experience I will definitely be planning to make the switch soon. read more

Watch out for trickery if you have multiple lines and autopay! I became aware of the additional line on or around May2022. After calling several weeks thereafter, I was informed by a customer service representative that I would be reimbursed since I did not authorize the additional line or charges in the first place. She also stated that she would cancel the line and I agreed to this. The next month, I noticed that my bill was twice the amount that I expected. After speaking with another customer service representative, I was informed that I was being charged an additional $229 because the phone line still had a balance. It was at that point that I was informed that in November 2020, an iPhone mini 12 was added to my account without my consent. For two years, I was charged for the device fee and I was unaware because at the time, I had several other lines and did not notice the additional charges as it was only $25 per month. According to customer service representatives, the data usage proves the line was never utilized on my account. When I asked if there was a name associated with the added line, I was informed that it was my family member and although they were transferred to another AT&T account, they could not transfer responsibility for the line without their authorization. I called back in with the family member on the line and the story immediately changed... I was informed that someone produced my license in November 2020 to purchase an iPhone 12 without my authorization. I was instructed to file a fraud incident online. I receive a response in days that an investigation had occurred and no fraud was detected. At no point has the fraud department contacted me or anyone else associated with this account to get a thorough understanding of this incident. Since then, I have been given the runaround and treated with downright disregard for my situation. As a customer that has been loyal to AT&T/Houston Cingular since 1998, I expect better regard and customer service from this company. I have consulted with Attorney Randall and I will follow up with a lawsuit if this is not resolved immediately. read more

HORRIFIC CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Showed up right as doors opened at 10am. 2 people ahead of me, 2 people working. So I was next.. all I needed was a new SIM per some fraudulent upgrade someone did on my line. The person didn't even ask what I needed, just put my name on a list. I literally waited 40 min! The sales people had zero sense of urgency. And again they were helping the same 2 people for the whole time! When finally it was my turn, and nearly late for work, the guy switched my SIM in minutes. They need to be asking reason for visit and multitasking. Just ridiculous. I would rather have and should have went to another carriers store and paid for a new SIM. The service people here need to be trained. The woman never even assured me that she would be with me soon even when she saw me pacing. I hate this store. read more

Back in January of 2019 my fiancé and I decided to get cable and internet service with AT&T at that time an AT&T representative by the name of Shaylen Young came into my home to speak with me and my fiancé about switching over phone service from Sprint to AT&T. We were presented with what seemed like a great offer at the time. We had 4 phones with Sprint (281-883-7301, 346-300-6323, 346-300-6324, 346-300 6396), Shaylen informed us that if we switched to AT&T we would get a trade in value of up to $700 per phone. I contacted sprint in the presence of Shaylen to verify the payoff on each Sprint phone and the amount that would be covered by AT&T. To my fiancé and myself Shaylen explained one phone would be covered for the full amount (346-300-6393 - $559.99) and two phones would be covered up to $700 (346-300-6323 - $833 -$700 = $133 and 346-300-6324 -$846 -$700 = $146.00) and phone 281-883-7301 who not be covered. With this information given by Shaylen, we agreed to switch phone providers. I received my final Sprint bill a total owed is $2769.84 which was submitted to AT&T switcher program. I was expecting a credit towards my Sprint account in the amount of $1999.99 per my conversation with Shaylen however, to my surprise, ATT of informed us that we would receive $1157 in credit cards which is not even half of what is owed to Sprint. We contacted the customer service department and could not get a resolution. We stopped by the AT&T store on 1960 and Eldridge and the manager told us we needed to speak with Shaylen or his manager directly. When we spoke with Shaylen he again confirmed what he told us originally and informed us he would take care of it. When Shaylen wasn't able to get the issue resolved we reached out to his manager who stated due to the information given by Shaylen he would make this right. We spoke to the manager last week and was told the most he could do is credit my AT&T account $800. At the end of the day base on the information given by the AT&T representative, we decided to switch providers. We are in the process of purchasing our first home and I have a $2769.84 debt from Sprint sitting in my credit report. Was told to go back to the store. They were supposed to help me. I was told to ask for a manager. Went to store and 12:15. Asked for a manager. Manager pawned me off to another employee. I switched to FirstNet here at this location & I regret it. Other first responders said they were in and out. I however was not. I was in this store for almost 2 hours. Since I got on FirstNet, I have had nothing but problems. And I NEVER had problems with my phone before! Every week my phone would act up with showing no service or searching. I called 611 and it was a temporary fix. So I came to another att store & was advised the Copperfield location should NOT have given me a black sim card. Now my phone doesn't work at all & I have to buy a new one! Clearly this location doesn't know what they hell they are doing. read more

They don't greet you! I just stood there and not one of the two employees said a word! Just because you're dealing with other customers, it only takes a second to speak to a new walk in. There was no line, so I had no idea how to get service! I asked the customer sitting by the door, have they been helped he said no. He then told me they should've told you to sign in somewhere. I just told nope the long is super long without an employee talking, I informed him if he wanted better service, it's a better location not far away. Came in for an upgrade on 11/12/15. I told the guy specifically that I ONLY want to upgrade my phone. Leave my plan exactly as it is. The employee Angel M changed my grandfathered $30/month data plan to DataPro 3GB WITHOUT telling me. Unknowingly, I signed the contract and it wasn't until I came back from vacation I get a text telling me I reached my 3gb limit and will be charged $10 for every data over. This has got to be the worst case of corporate trickery I ever dealt with. I have 6 other lines with ATT and they better believe that I will no longer be on their service if they don't change my data plan back to what it was. PLEASE STAY AWAY and READ THE CONTRACTS. Absolutely disgusting. Didn't know upgrading to a LGV10 was going to cost me more than I wanted. Such a shame. 12yr+ customer. T-Mobile I will be with you shortly. read more

Because my phone is in dire need of an upgrade, I found this place and thought why not. Despite the consistent 1 star reviews, my visit wasn't as bad as I anticipated it would be. I was helped by a man named Bobby in about 10 minutes. Bobby was nice and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. I felt I was well taken care of but am not sure if I would have received this level of service from the other associates present. Wouldn't mind coming back here. read more

I work in retail enough to know that even if you're busy, it is always polite to acknowledge those who come in that way you are aware of who comes in and out. My husband and I walked in and no one said anything to us, all employees were busy so of course I understand it's rude to stop your conversation. Anyways, we were there for about a good 20 minutes and realized that 3 people came in and they were all greeted and asked for their name so they can be next. Like, okay cool we've been here for a long time and no one bothered to tell us we had to sign in. Horrific customer service! We returned our phones to this store the day after we got them (due to a chat gone wrong via online AT&T rep) and paid the $90 restocking fees on October 3rd 2017. Fast forward to the next month and we get a bill for over $1770. Thinking we should have no problem correcting this as we have receipts of our return in both the physical form and in an email, I call corporate and they state the bill was sent in error and they apologize. They tell us to please ignore the error and they will take care of it. Dec 1st we receive a past due notice (for the over $1770 amount) stating they will take us to collections if we do not pay for the phones that we had returned two months ago, I call corporate again and they say they can't help and to go in the store as the return was done incorrectly at the store level. I then go into the store and they assure me that they can correct it and it will be done so in the next 24-48 hours. I call back on that Monday, Dec 4th... the amount is still not been credited and I was on the phone for multiple hours with corporate stating that they can't help and to go back to the store as they can't find the phones (not sure how this is my issue since I have receipts), so I drive back to the store as suggested....no supervisor is in the store and I must drive back again later tonight?! All of this and I have TWO different forms of proof that these were returned and no one can fix it?! As a run down for now we have spent over 7 hours of our time, $90 in restocking fees and this is all with TWO receipts proving that these phones were returned!!! Completely ridiculous! Update from the same day as last update: I drive back to the store Monday night (Dec 4th) and was told that the 24 hours did not include weekends and to wait until Wednesday the 13th for it to be zeroed out. I am assured that it will for sure be corrected. Update: Wed the 6th - Called corporate and still states I owe the full amount and to call the store. I am on hold for 56 min to speak to the store manager as I drove in. I arrive to the store, wait in line all before someone answers my call that I am still on hold for. I am once again assured that my acct will be corrected in another 24-48 hours. At that point I was given the cell number to the store manager and was credited on my Direct TV account for the restocking fees of $90 when requested. Update: Fri the 8th - 40 min on the phone and spoke to the store manager again. They have taken off most of the charges, but a past due or service charges are due (depends on who you speak to what it is). Corporate tried to tell me that since I had the phones for any period of time that I owed money even if they were returned within 24 hours. I had to read their policy from their website in regard to the Buyers Remorse program and he then agreed that is the case and 0 should be owed. He opened a case and I was assured that by Monday the 11th at the latest my account will show 0 balance. Update: Monday the 11th - spent 43 minutes on the phone and was told the previous case was inputted incorrectly by corporate and that we are still owing the past due/service charges (or full amount depending on what rep I spoke to) although now they again assure me that they will 0 out the acct and to call back on Wed to check to verify. It is a miracle! Our account is 0!! I also did recieve a letter in the mail stating there are no longer any charges on our acct. read more

This is my 5th time attempting to get my account corrected with accurate discount code. Fortunately, the AT&T representative who serviced me today immediately took out the form I needed to be faxed to at&t for the 3 star. It takes 5 different representative for 5 different months including the store manager to getting one simple thing done. And no guidance in the past, I have to get my company to provide me all the documentations that AT&T should know. From when I switched over, the reason I switched over was solely due to this contact between the two companies, and from this store. I even asked if thet needed the documentations sent to them, no not really. No apologies for the inconveniences or nothing. If it weren't solely based on my business emails and traffic flow, I'll go back to t mobile. This is ridiculous. Let's hope they all got my information this time, maybe they need my taxes, family history, medical records too. read more
