    This review is for the Liberty Ave location in Bloomfield…read more It's currently July 2025 and in December 2024, I dropped off an old pixel 6 of mine because the battery expanded in my hot car. I was told they'd look at it and let me know next steps. I was told I'd need to leave a deposit and I'd hear back. I received a call the next day, wherein a voicemail was left letting me know they'd have to order a battery and it'd arrive in 5-7 days. I never heard back. A few weeks later, I called for an update and was told that they couldn't find my phone but could see the work order and that they'd call me back. No one called me back. I called a month later and was told the same thing and that I'd get a call back. Nope. No call. Oh, by the way, when I "paid a deposit", I was actually signed up for a subscription for Asurion Home that I wasn't made aware of. I cancelled it, but not before I was charged. I visited the store today, as it's clear no one cared to call me back. The manager let me know they likely recycled it after 3 months. He said someone would have called to let me know. Spoiler: no one called me. I, however, did call at the 3 month mark and no one said a word to me outside of letting me know they'd have to keep searching and would call me back. And even though someone said they could see my work order when I called, today I was told there was no work order. I really don't know what to think. Was it deleted to cover tracks when they couldn't find my phone? Did one of them steal my phone and delete the work order? I mean, wtf is happening? From my perspective on the outside, I have to assume the employees either have a min amount of people they need to subscribe to Asurion Home, or there is some sort of credit they receive (it looks like I'm not the only one this has happened to) and the person who I spoke with did so without telling me. Regarding my phone, the manager says it was probably recycled after 3 months and that he couldn't help me. He said to call corporate (which I just did. They asked for the work order#, but that was apparently misplaced along with my phone). His recycled-at-3-months argument is nonsense as well, as my phone went missing after a few weeks. I needed the data on the phone and planned to do a data transfer (per the employee), so I didn't need the phone. It was a phone that wasn't in use. But now the data is gone, along with my phone. This really blows for me. I'm pretty upset and I feel like I won't be helped. So yeah, don't go here unless you're interested in a surprise subscription to Asurion Home and being out the cost of a phone.

One month in repair at Cranberry Township store and they will not provide documentation to prove they even ordered the battery from Dell and a tracking number to show it was lost. "Against corporate policy to do so." Take your electronics elsewhere! This company uses sham tactics!!!!!! Spoke to Corporate at Asurion and believe it or not they offered me a $25 check to settle this $200 issue!!!!! Told them they could do BETTER. Said I could have just picked up my computer and sent it to Dell myself to settle but how the hell do you do that if you have no proof of Ubreakifix's order for replacement battery under warranty and a tracking number to prove it was lost in shipment??!!! All which "corporate" says is not permitted under their "policy" worse yet they try to upsell me on an Asurion maintenance plan!!!!! No on your life! RUN DONT WALK!

    Apple in Shadyside really helped me out when I needed it. I ended up dropping my phone after work…read moreand completely breaking it. I could not even get into it because of the damage. The next day after work I went to the Shadyside location and I am so grateful I did. They helped me decide on purchasing a new phone and the whole process was very smooth. I ended up buying the Apple iPhone 17 Pro and trading in my old phone. The staff walked me through everything step by step and were very patient with all the questions I had. Inside, it looks like your typical Apple Store with a wide open layout, lots of devices and accessories on display, and plenty of employees available to help when needed. The store was busy but still well organized. Zach helped me out and he was fantastic. He explained all the updated features on my new phone, especially the camera, which I am really excited about. He made the whole experience easy and stress free. Overall I had a great experience and I am very thankful for the help I received. I definitely recommend making an appointment if you plan to visit.

However, he made it good by wiping out all of the unsynched items which are lost. And after an hour in the store and and an hour on the phone with support the solution is "we can't retrieve them so back up to time machine in the future." Don't I pay for iCloud back up to solve just this problem? Just crap. Service, support, process. Everything about this was awful. And I am an Apple fan. At least was.

    On March 8 2025 I realized my phone needed to be charged more because it was only on 41 percent …read more i tried charging and my phone showed a black screen and not charging .the time was 9.30 am and the store opens at 10.am . I only live 10 minutes from the store I was at the T-Mobile at the Waterfront at 9.50 . I waited outside at the door so I could be the first customer to be helped . 10am the doors opened by Ty Ty and Yosh . Yosh thanked me for my patience . I told both workers how I think my phone has a virus because of the black screen. So while Yosh was getting my information, Ty Ty was investigating why my phone was acting up . It was a great feeling to haves both Reps to work on my concerns during the time I was the first customer. Ty Ty found out that my phone shut down because it was too cold and she got my phone working again and helped the next customer that came in the store . Yosh also had me set up to my T-Mobile account so when I am ready to get a new phone I'm already set up. Also Ty Ty downloaded iOS 18.0 that I always had problems with .I had also talked to the manager Jordan and that his workers gave me great customer service which in the near future will promote a sale . I asked Jordan their names because I didn't get scared with their names on it. I also want to Yosh for the cup of water . I told him I was sick and he thought of physical illness and I said n it's because my phone wasn't working .
