We did not ended up getting our new cell plans here, but now I was actually regretting not coming here. When we first walked in, we were immediately greeted by a staff who took our name down in the system waiting to be helped. You can actually see your name in the TV screen in the back wall so you can clearly see where you are in line and how much longer until you get your term. When it's time for our turn, the staff was very friendly and explained each phone and cell plans to us. The monthly plan may be higher than what we are paying now, but I felt the customer service was excellent and definitely what you paid for it. read more

I initially took my apple watch to a franchised Dade-County AT&T retail store. The staff there had no clue how to assist me with service request (my iPhone was reset at the Apple Store due to iOS bug issue thus my watch was wiped in order to correct the issue. This also wiped the cellular part...). I visited the dare-county store in order to restore cellular service to my Apple Watch. However, the staff wasn't well equipped to handle the issue. So, I traveled to the AT&T retail store on Sheridan... and ROBERT the AT&T customer service retail agent helped me. He greeted me promptly. I visited the store just Because I did a trade in and needed to return the old phone .. everything was already done 3 days before , upon arrival I was greeted by a very professional agent then got transferred to another agent called Tito to assist the process. From the start he had an attitude, everything I explained was an issue for him . The other store where I did the trade process before offer an amount for the phone but in front of Tito that amount was too high and he needed to re-do the trade process again . There was a time when ATT was considered the best in class carrier. I don't know what's happened but everything has gone downhill. My cell service at home has been horrendous with calls failing and dropping consistently. I have been trying to get an agent on the phone for weeks and you literally can't get through to anyone any longer. The store reps are completely unhelpful. All they want to do is sell you things. I get zero cell phone reception where I live and you are aware but do nothing. My other cell from T- Mobile comes in crystal clear. 2. Customer service and lack there of. I had the best experience today at AT&T getting a new phone. It's been awhile since I upgraded my phone which I desperately needed. This AT&T store is the one I always go to it's close to my house and they are always helpful and friendly here. Today Tito took care of me and I have to tell you he stayed with me from the start until my new phone updated and transferred all my data. He also put my screen protector on my new phone and made sure everything was working correctly. I didn't have to wait I guess coming in first thing morning helps. Customer service is awesome and they have all the accessories you would possibly need for your phone. I'm loving my new iPhone! read more

I had went to a AT&T Authorized Dealer and had a terrible experience attempting to get a new phone, so I told myself I was going to go to a standard store. I was greeted by Andres who took care of me right away. He laid out all of my options so I would understand and make the best choice for myself. Andres was kind and understanding and even apologized for having a bad experience at another store. He was able to get me squared away pretty fast (I typically hate going to get a new phone because it's such long process) but that was no issue for Andres. The manager (Tony/Antonio/Anthony???) should withdrawn from the sales floor for he has no people skills but issues that he passes on to customers like a disease. Xfinity versus AT&T tv and internet! I was an Xfinity house until about a week ago. So far the transition to direct TV with AT&T has been a success. Pros: They did all of the changes in a timely manner, their guys weren't the nicest, but I was satisfied with their timeliness to ignore him on the phone the entire visit. It saves me $40 a month! It took away my golf but gave me the NFL Sunday ticket. This was the selling point that pulled me in. It will cost me an extra $15 in 3 months but that's still $25 less the my Xfinity bill. I'm also sucked into HBOs Game of Thrones: free for now :/ I think 3 months like the NFL. Not sure how much the increase will be. Cons: the remote was honestly the worst change ever. Xfinity lights up so you can see the keys. Let's not forget I can talk to it!!! But honestly it's how simple they made my tv selections. I could say to my remote or select though the keys "free to me": movies, shows, my Netflix options synced in with all the on demand tv shows! I don't know how much HBO is going to cost me now, but I do know XFINITY charged me $1 a month. Not just for HBO, but one dollar each for: STARZ, Cinemax, and one more major name. Honestly I switched because of the NFL package and the ability to record my shows. But not Xfinity is undoubtably more user friendly. Being able to use all the functions I paid for is far more satisfying than having unlimited access to everything (because I'm in the first 3 months still) and feeling like I cant get anything to do what I want it to do. Then in 3 months I'll have to pay more for something that's already chaffing.. I might convert back. I'm not sure. But I do know I wouldn't push anyone over. read more

Terrible experience. The people that work at this store are uninformed and poorly educated. I made an appointment and met with Emil who "helped" me by pulling up the website for AT &T and reading off to me what was listed there- something I could've stayed home to do. All he kept suggesting was that I find an iPhone 6 to bring in in order to get any type of deal when I must've told him at least 3 times and showed him that I have an iPhone 5. His answer to me? This AT&T store is very conveniently located for me, so I'm happy about that. In the internet age this isn't much I can't do directly from the website, but occasionally I find myself forced to come into this store. As I mentioned, there aren't many reasons a person needs to come into the store anymore, so the wait time here is short. I remember visiting AT&T stores back in the day and putting my name on a list and waiting and waiting...now I'm seen immediately. In the last 6 months I've visited this store 3 times. All three times were quick and I received excellent service, although the last 2 times I felt the staff was a little uneducated about some things. Any of the technical questions I asked were unable to be answered. No biggie as again, the internet exists, and I am pretty successful at googling, but it's sad to see a staff that is uneducated regarding the advanced features of their own products and services read more

I had a great experience today at this store. My boyfriend and I were greeted the moment we stepped in the store. Everybody was smiling, and Tyrone was the person that helped us. Our plan was with 30 GB internet, and we were all the time getting over that limit and being charged with 15$ for one extra GB. We came in today because we wanted to see what can we do to avoid paying more than we needed to. Tyrone was great, very knowledgeable at his job and friendly. He was able to get us the Unlimited Plus plan that gave us lots of GB of internet. No more worries about our next bill! Excellent customer service hands down for Tyrone! read more

I joined Yelp to write this review; that's how shocked I was by the responses I got from the staff at the AT&T store on Sheridan and 33rd Avenue in Hollywood, FL. My parents gave me a case for my iPhone 3GS for my birthday. It wasn't the kind of case I wanted, so I went into the store tonight to exchange it for another kind. The woman who helped me looked cluelessly at me for a moment, muttered that she thought it was "impossible" and sought help from another associate named Jamie. He confirmed her answer: it is not possible to return an in-package case to the AT&T retail store without a reciept. I explained to him that, when I worked for Apple, we did this sort of thing all the time. I added that I had returned items similarly to Wal-Mart and Target... he didn't seem impressed. He said that, "with no way to tie the case to a transaction, it's up to one person, the Manager." So I spoke with the manager, a woman named Ana. She backed the other two up, saying that there was no way they would take back the case. I said, "I don't want a refund; I just want to exchange it for another case." She didn't care. I explained that we did this sort of thing at Apple all the time. No dice. I then added, "Let's be clear. I am flabbergasted that this is your policy and I will never, ever purchase another accessory in your store. You really should make a phone call on this one and pass it up the line to your district manager." Ana said that she would do so then tried to explain the policy again. I interrupted her. "Please don't explain," I said. "I don't care why this is the rule. From where I'm standing, it sounds like AT&T cares a lot more about your needs vis a vis inventory managment than it does about my experience. That seems backwards. Pass that along, too." This is my second time to visit this location because I was having issues with my iPhone. The first visit was also 5 stars - Tito helped me and it was the most pleasant visit to an AT&T store I've ever had. Today Tito was not in so Tyrone helped me. Again, a truly pleasant experience. What I liked most about both Tito and Tyrone were their professionalism and excellent customer service. Both listened to me first and then took he next steps appropriate for my problem. I went in the store requesting a free movie channel I was promised when I switched to Direct TV. I was told that it could not be done, I asked to speak to the manager, Samuel, (the same person who offered it as the incentive to change to Direct TV). He said that he could not do it free of charge, but if I was interested in a new On Demand Direct TV, he would make sure to hook me up. When I told my husband, he drove there and he was given the free movie channel. As a female, I am discussed by the different result given to a man. I had the ABSOLUTE WORST experience at the AT&T. I have been an AT&T customer for the last 5+ years and I have NEVER experienced the disrespect that I had here. I went in, searching to upgrade my phone and during my time there a manager had walked in, saw me looking at the BEATS headphones (passively) and offered me a deal (a certain percentage off) that was pretty good, but I wasn't looking to spend all that money at that time. I then proceeded to talk to the representative that I had an appointment with and she, too, confirmed the deal going on. I told her that I was interested, but would not be looking to spend the money at that time. I further inquired how long the sale would be going on and she informed me that it would go on for at least another month. I return the store exactly a week later, ready to upgrade my phone AND buy the beats headphones only to be told that the sale was over for a while then. I showed them the pictures I took of the BEATS headphones only a week earlier (with the date stamped on it, thank you apple technology) stating that that's when I was informed about the sale. The sales representative that day said I could talk with a manager, but to her knowledge the sale had ended over a month ago. At that very moment the SAME manager walked in and I stopped him to ask him if he remembered telling me about the sale. He acted like he had NO recollection of me and that proceeded to confirm that the sale ended over a month ago. After he saw my interest in the headphones, he tried to bargain a deal with me that was nowhere near the deal he offered to me just a week ago. I would have believed them if they just had said the sale had ended a week ago, but the fact that they persistently said the sale ended over a month ago, when just a week prior MULTIPLE employees told me the sale was in full effect and would be for a while made me feel like I was being completely conned. I have NO idea what SCAM they are trying to run in this store, but I did not end up giving them any of my business, nor will I ever. After speaking to that manager the second time (during my week later visit) he told me that if he talks to any customer, he always gives them his business card. Well, I can tell you after that SECOND conversation with him, I did not leave with a business card that day either. THIS PLACE IS AWFUL. THEY NEED TO BE INVESTIGATED. Don't even ask them about their home service! Read on; I went here to inquire about home services with thoughts of switching over from Concast. I repeatedly told them that I'm only shopping at this time to be certain if they are the right choice for me. I asked if I were to choose AT&T, when could it be installed. That's when all my personal information was needed. I repeated that I'm only shopping and asking about installation. They insisted that all this information was needed to find installation times in my area. So I gave my address, phone, and drivers license number. I thought I'd be safe not giving my social security information. Wrong! Later that day I was notified that AT&T hit my credit information. I never signed or authorized anything regarding their services and they checked my credit! It gets better, yesterday I received a bill with a scheduled appointment! When asking questions to the representatives in the store no one had any solutions or idea as to what I needed help with. And then when I tried calling the store back later to ask questions they all the sudden knew the answers and were very rude once again. Had a horrible and great experience at the same time. I switched my phone number and it was not working properly. The guy at the store couldn't figure out how to fix it and had me call AT&T tech support. They couldn't fix it either and transferred me to Apple. After hanging up and being on the phone for over an hour my phone was still not fixed. The gentleman who was originally helping me was with a customer but Jorge told me he was available. We walked in. There were 3 people working with reps. There were 4 other AT&T reps milling around the store. 1 approached us took our name and put us on the waiting list. We were number 1 on the list. We waited- watching these 4 reps stand around talking. 1 of the customers finished their business and left. The rep disappeared into the back room and then came out skirted around us and left the store. No one spoke to us. Two more people came in and got added to the waiting list. We watched reps come out of the back and go back in. Watched a manager do a diagnostic for someone who came in after us. Still no one spoke to us. Finally another rep finished with his customers. He went to the front , spoke to a manager, looked directly at us (#1 on the list), and then walked to the other side of the store and started helping another customer.
