Recently went to the Microsoft store in the freehold NJ mall for my son to try their virtual reality system only to be told two weekends in a row that's it's being updated. Finally on the third try it was working but the associate said my son needed to be 13 and he was only 12,I was with him but they could care less. This kind of service from Microsoft will ensure my continued support and loyalty to Apple. Went in today Thur 8/15/19 for a simple return of an iPhone case purchased this past sat 8/10/19, something that should have been easy. Unfortunately today was one of those days that had a hiccup, a store employee by the name of Zac who was unprofessional, confrontational, rude and clearly inexperienced when dealing with customers made it a very uncomfortable experience for no reason other than his lack of understanding and consideration of what a valuable loyal apple customer deserves. Luckily Dave the manager come over and extended his apology as Zac was clearly 100% at fault for not providing the customer experience that apple is famous for. When making a return that is within Apple's guidelines their should not be any issue for any reason!

Every time I've gone back to service this phone it has been wildly frustrating. It boils down to the system they use for service. I'm never helped in a timely fashion with a reservation and if you come in as a walk in, forget it. They talk down to you and act like the ridiculous hoops they make you jump through are normal. Recently I waited 2 hours for someone to speak to me and the staff were actively avoiding me when I tried to flag them down. Update; I had to go back again and this time I found out they had skipped the diagnostic tests on my device every time I came in without telling me. If they had just run the test the first time I could have avoided driving back and forth to this location. The staff are overtly rude and incompetent. I saw multiple other customers who were at their wits end. Most recently the guy next to me showed up early for his appointment. No one came to speak to him and then when he finally grabbed someone to check him in they marked him as late and put him at the back of the line to get his screen replaced. Then they told him they had to keep the device over night so he left. No apologies they just play pretend that it's the customers fault. What a nightmare

My daughters phone was the worst. It was pretty bad. Apparently, when you are a teenage girl, your quality of life is connected to your cell phone. We visited AT&T who was no help at all. The phone repair places in the mall wanted too much money. I had seen the sign outside of this place a few weeks earlier and figured we'd check it out. I didnt like the sadness in my little girl's eyes. Like the mall, screen replacement was too much. But they have a decent selection of phones for a reasonable price. We found a nice replacement for a fair price. They even switched the new phone over and transferred her pics, videos, and contacts. They went above and beyond. Super nice, super fast, excellent value. And there is happiness back in my baby girl's eyes.

I wanted to take a moment and write this review because of the incredible service I received at…read morethis Verizon Wireless store location. I went to the store to deal with a charging problem with my daughter's iPhone 5. The store manager James MacFarlane greeted me and he immediately began to troubleshoot the issue. After trying several chargers it was determined that there was a problem with the phone itself. He proceeded to inform me about my insurance coverage and actually made the call to the insurance representative on my behalf. He worked with the representative and my daughter will be receiving her new phone in two business days. In addition, James talked me through the instructions via iTunes to back up my daughter's defective phone and how to restore her information when we get the new phone. His caveat was that we could also bring the phone to the store and they would perform the transfer for her. At the same time that we were dealing with the defective phone, James reviewed my account and suggested a few changes that would allow me to purchase a "hot spot" mobile router while lowering my bill so that there wouldn't be any incremental cost (other than an activation charge for the hot spot) in my monthly bill. This solves a commuting issue for me as I work in NYC and this solution will ensure that I have a secure Internet connection for all the devices that I carry (iPhone, iPad and laptop) during the long bus rides. James MacFarlane went above and beyond in servicing not just my initial need for the iPhone, but also to review my account and suggest an additional solution, at no additional cost (by the way, the hot spot came with a rebate for the same price as the device itself, so essentially free). James provides the highest level of service that I as a Verizon customer appreciate. Well Done!
