They gave it back several hours later saying it was the mother board and would cost a lot of $ to fix and not worth it. The iPad I received back was either damaged further by them, or, is not even my ipad because the Home button is completely broken and hanging off with no tension on it. Beaware - Do not go to them. I gave my Iphone for backglass replacement, the guy damaged the mic and charging port of the phone and phone started restarting every 2-3 minutes, He quietly gave me the phone and didn't mention it to me and when after paying I caught the issue he asked me to come 5 days later as they didn't have the part. I requested him to refund the money as I don't trust his ability to diagnose the issue and fix it but he refused. He told me that he doesn't have the power to issue a refund and cannot give me contact of manager who can.. I ended up paying $350 for the repair of damage he did to my phone. BEWARE!!!! NEVER GO TO THIS KIOSK!!!! I would give no stars but have to pick one star!!! Took my sons cracked iphone here on a Sunday to replace the front and back, spent $150.00 to have replaced. Took over an hour that we waited to have fixed, the two men put my son's iPhone back in his case. Monday night my son went to charge his phone as he was plugging in his charger he heard a crackling noise. As he looked down on his phone on the lower left hand corner he noticed a small crack. Called the number on the receipt the next day on Tuesday, spoke to the man who was there on Sunday explained what happened and asked if he would replace the defective screen that they put in. He was VERY rude and told me he could not do that. Then he told me to bring the phone in and he would look at it. Brought the phone to him Tuesday evening and again VERY rude he told me he wouldn't replace it but he would fix it for $35. Again explained that I had the receipt and that it was less than 48 hours. He said "No, sorry I can not and will not replace it for nothing. But I will give you a discount to fix it again for $35. They don't care about customers who come to their business and they don't stand behind their workmanship. read more

Brought my daughters phone to be fixed back in July. She cracked her screen on her iPhone XR. I spent $180 for screen repair and a screen protector...which lifted off after 8 days. After only a few weeks she noticed the phone glitching and typing even when she wasn't touching it. I was unable to return to the kiosk within the 60 day return policy period due to the fact my 1 daughter caught Covid and my other daughter tore her ACL and needed surgery. Just yesterday I brought the phone to the Apple store to see what was really wrong with the phone since visually it looked fine. They advised me that the screen was never replaced properly and the diagnostic test showed the right side of the screen in 3 different spots showed it was glitching as though it was being touched even when it wasn't being held. I then went to speak to the manager Bill at the Streettalk kiosk right next to the Apple store in the Freehold mall. He spoke to me like I was an idiot and would not replace the screen for no charge because it was 20 days past the refund period. He over talked me, was rude and disrespectful. He did not care that the phone never really worked properly. He was only focused on the refund policy. He didn't care that I didn't have the ability to come back to his store as my focus was taking care of my children. If I could give this business a 0 rating I would. Very bad customer service! The first replacement screen for my iPhone made everything look faded, especially my photos. Then when I complained, the manager said it is a third-party screen, but don't worry: my photos will look fine on my computer! Finally, he said he could put in an OEM Apple screen for more money, so I paid. It looks better but the screen is very defective operationally: it is almost impossible go navigate or type. Certain areas of the screen don't work. I can press a key over and over, and other keys are activated instead. I could not have had a worse experience and urge people to stay away. read more

Last night my iPhone stopped charging. I ran to the Apple store hoping to have a small problem fixed. They told me they couldn't fix it and I needed a new phone. I don't have a warranty anymore or insurance. Not due for an upgrade and still owe a lot of money on phone. After Apple and AT&T were no help I went to Street Talk. A very sweet young man took my phone and replaced the charging port in 10 minutes. Charged a very fair decent price. This young man that taught himself basically how to fix phones has more knowledge then the so called experts at Apple. And didn't try to rip me off like Apple and their scam to force you to keep buying new phones. Thank you so much read more

I brought my wife's iphone to the Apple store line was outrageous so I spotted the Street Talk kiosk nearby. I said we were having trouble charging the battery, sometimes it would charge a little sometimes not at all. He went into the settings and we saw the battery was at 87% and that it should be 100% for proper operation. So I had him install a new battery, figuring that the problem was solved. The battery was at 73% charged when I left. I plugged the phone into the car jack. When I got home it was still at 73%. The true issue was not addressed, but I got a new battery, if I needed one or not. Should have waited in the Apple store line... read more

Terrible... Can't return anything without the staff crying and the other employees judging you... the crying employee then threatened 911 and just cannot handle a small request to return a electronic case that BTW was really overpriced and was opened by the staff and then closed it until I came to return it and was then again told that I could not return it. I even called the manager to check if there is refunds he said there is a giant sign that says:NO REFUNDS and there really isn't and after this lie he said that in every major store there is not refunds for cases guess what? There really is and he just tried to make a quick buck off bad business. I called Street Talk (AKA Talk N' Fix) at the Freehold Mall to fix my phone screen and was told it was $35, but when I arrived with my phone the price was now $45. Whatever. I brought my screen which I ordered online and the clear case that held the different tools to replace the screen. I took the tools as he told me he didn't need them and he said around 25 minutes it should be done. Fine. So I do some shopping and I come back to get my phone and it's $45 plus tax, but when I asked for the case he was all like, "What case? I don't have case." Now he either threw it away, gave it away, or just stole it -- it was a freebie and I didn't really need it but it was still my property so there were two things now that annoyed me -- but this highlighted a much bigger issue: They didn't ask for my name, number, no deposit, didn't give me a receipt for the phone, no accounting of me actually giving this guy a phone at all. I could have come back and he could have gone for the day, another employee could have given it to someone else, or that new employee could have demanded a receipt or some proof that I wasn't just taking someone elses phone -- a reasonable request -- that would ruin your afternoon trying to straighten out. This could have been a lot worse than it already was, it could be for you too; you've been warned. read more
