I understand the Apple store concept however somehow this location is one of the worst when it comes to dealing with service customers. At 1 point I count s over 9 blue shirts and grey jackets talking to each other. I arrived 40 minuets early for an internet scheduled appointment. I am not posting an angry message because they didn't see me early. I'm pointing out that instead of pointing me to an area and wait or even showing any interest in my and my Apple experience or even trying to sell me something I was quickly processed and sent away to come back in 30 minuets. I was nicely asked to leave. WTF!!! I'm not a mall person, I drove to Freehold purposely to go to the Apple store, I'm an Apple product guy try and keep me in the store! Now onto my appointment... the IPhone 6 is having batter replacement issues and mine is no different. There's a special program on it and it's highly publicized. I made my appointment based on the battery when I booked it on the Internet. The Genius Bar Guy was very nice and efficient, determined my battery was due for replacement and told me "we don't stock batteries" again WTF!!! Where is the efficiency and wow factor from this technology and information company. I was informed the battery would be ordered and I had to return to have it replaced. There is a lack of people management at this store. There is a lack of parts stocking and appointment tracking. If a guy makes a battery appoint for a phone with a common bulletin posted issue stock a couple batteries. As a business traveler I won't be able to get my battery change for another 3 week's yet I could have had it changed at a non Apple store immediately. I wanted to avoid using non Apple places since Apple voids any future work on you products after you use 3rd party vendors.

I'm at, but not up not even power up. They were able to get us to boot up and run. Didn't cost me anything and my data was intact

One star is too many for this store. There's good Apple stores and there are bad ones, avoid this one if you can!

Incredibly disrespectful and selfish staff members behind the counter not wearing masks. They…read morebarely even looked up from their phones to interact with me and they did not even appear to have masks near by to put on when a customer walked over to the kiosk. Every other store and kiosk I passed had their employees wearing masks, enforcing social distancing, and had hand sanitizer on hand. This is how it should be to promote safety while inside, especially without open windows to provide ventilation. These two selfish guys are standing behind their kiosk in the mall for hours, breathing out, talking, etc., not covering their mouths or noses, with their air particles floating around to other people and which is how the virus is transmitted. Everyone else wearing a mask around them is protecting them, but yet they refused to be considerate of others by wearing a masks to protect customers. The older guy, presumably in charge, responded that "He's the boss" "He doesn't need a mask" and I "shouldn't shop at the mall if it bothers me." This is not how customers should be treated. Every other store employee in the Freehold Mall interacted with genuine kindness and consideration. I'm not sure if this is pure ignorance or actual disregard for the health and safety of other humans, but either way I would absolutely not recommend anyone endangering themselves by utilizing their services. I would give them less then zero stars if I could.

I wanted to take a moment and write this review because of the incredible service I received at…read morethis Verizon Wireless store location. I went to the store to deal with a charging problem with my daughter's iPhone 5. The store manager James MacFarlane greeted me and he immediately began to troubleshoot the issue. After trying several chargers it was determined that there was a problem with the phone itself. He proceeded to inform me about my insurance coverage and actually made the call to the insurance representative on my behalf. He worked with the representative and my daughter will be receiving her new phone in two business days. In addition, James talked me through the instructions via iTunes to back up my daughter's defective phone and how to restore her information when we get the new phone. His caveat was that we could also bring the phone to the store and they would perform the transfer for her. At the same time that we were dealing with the defective phone, James reviewed my account and suggested a few changes that would allow me to purchase a "hot spot" mobile router while lowering my bill so that there wouldn't be any incremental cost (other than an activation charge for the hot spot) in my monthly bill. This solves a commuting issue for me as I work in NYC and this solution will ensure that I have a secure Internet connection for all the devices that I carry (iPhone, iPad and laptop) during the long bus rides. James MacFarlane went above and beyond in servicing not just my initial need for the iPhone, but also to review my account and suggest an additional solution, at no additional cost (by the way, the hot spot came with a rebate for the same price as the device itself, so essentially free). James provides the highest level of service that I as a Verizon customer appreciate. Well Done!

Haven't met anyone like Scott in a while, someone who's in business out of a passion for what he does and his desire to help others. As soon as you meet him you can tell how much he loves computers and loves helping people in general. To say he's knowledgeable is quite an understatement. I wish he could've help me with some of my computer programming classes back in school lol!! For starters he's available 24 hours. Which is great of course. I was able to drop my computer off after work and pick it up after work the next day, very convenient! After dropping it off the first day he called me as planned around 9 o'clock at night to let me know that things were going well. I don't think customer service gets any better than that! Most places would've left the computer on the counter until the next morning. Scott had scans being run all night long so that it will be ready for pick up the next day. I'll also say that he is charging less than any place else I've ever taken a computer to get help, plus I've never gotten it back the next day fixed completely, plus there were no extra charges, hidden fees, etc. Actually he did more than what he said, he launched all my upgrades, he added some free software to help keep my computer virus free, he even installed an app on my computer in case I ever needed his help I could speak with him remotely. These are all free of course. And the computer has been working wonderful since I returned home with it! All problems fixed 100 percent!! How lucky to have a service like this right here in central New Jersey in Freehold. I would drive here to get my computer fixed even if I lived a half hour away. Very, very highly recommended! Spread the word about this incredible computer service, you won't be disappointed!

She ultimately didn't get it fixed by NO fault of his. She just doesn't live in the area and had to leave unexpectedly so she needed to handle it another way. I left this review as he even responded to wish her luck and say thank you for inquiring. Real class act who understands how important customer service is. We wish Scott all the best!
