I've had enormous problems with customer service (at the 800 number) switching my AT&T phone number over to a new carrier and a lady at this location finally got to the bottom of what the problem was and I was able to switch my phone over. My mother-in-law (MIL) had her home landline hacked an elderly offense). I spoke with the salesperson Jennifer and asked if she could help me the next day to provide my MIL a basic cell phone and new number. Jennifer took her time with my MIL and helped explain to a 86 year old widow how to operate the new phone and placed her on my phone plan to save money. She was just as I expected, very polite, genuine, professional and very interactive with my MIL, wife and I. We were all very happy when we left the store feeling reassured we made the right decision. read more

The ATT on Miller road Flint Michigan has always been challenging, but today it was worse. They were rude, combative, and we will never go there again. There are other stores close so we can go there. ATT screwed up our account and is unwilling to straighten it out, unless we download their crappy app. We spent hours on the phone trying to straighten out the issue talking to supervisor after supervisor and to no avail. THIS StORE WAS no better. When one of the members asked where the phone came from, I said the Apple Store because we do not trust ATT. He got an attitude and wanted to throw us out. ATT TOLD my wife she had to get a new SIMS card, which she has done twice, and they told her she was not eligible, so I had to go. Anyways, they are rude, competitive and we will never go there again. I suggest you stay away from this store and go to Grand Blanc. read more

Had a great experience buying a new phone today with Marla at the AT&T store on Miller Rd. Was recommended to drive further than my local store due to my family having a good experience here. I just switched over to at&t from Tmobile this past week, we had an issue with a phone transfer so we decided to go to a store (flint location). Firstly there was a situation where the employees felt it was appropriate to speak negatively about a CUSTOMER who just left the store unhappy lot enough for me and others to hear. Secondly, my husband added me to the account so I wouldn't have to be with him if something goes wrong and the representative there asked me "If the name I gave her was a nickname?" (Micro racism btw) not impressed with how they treat people. I will be getting her name. read more

AT&T flint michigan manager Matthew and team made my elderly mother cry. I sent her over to get her device unlocked after paying it off. She went in and was turned away and sent to a website... no assistance... no direction... Carl made her feel stupid for even asking and was very rude. So she left and told me the story I hit the website and got the code but it required pulling the sim card out. That's not something my mother can do or is comfortable with she does get intimidated by tech. she also didn't have the tool.. I asked her to go back. So she did thinking it was best. Carl was rude and so I asked her to go directly to the manager matt... dont know his last name as he refused to share it or give his card... he refused to assist her at first, I told my mother on the phone it was part of his job to help her. Wireless service and technical assistance is part of the bill we pay. They told her the same thing,, they can't assist... i told her I would call the store its their job to help and I'd tell them how to do it if they refused. Apparently my mother had me on speaker and telling Matt that it was part of his job offended him. He told his team not to help my mother because I offended him. Ill tell you now after decades as a manager you should always check your ego.. the work place has no space for hot heads.. I called the store and was put on hold long enough that my mother left because it was closing time, she was upset, and called my wife crying "I was still on hold". Matt eventually answered and said he would not service us as I was rude and offensive... he refused to talk to me until I told him we need to have a conversation... go on att corporate, listen to your recorded line... I was the voice of service and reason... by the end of the conversation Matt said he could help and was sorry for the miscommunication that took place... Called loyalty. Got a case number and escalation. But no resolution, just a promise it would be looked into and an apology from the nice woman on the phone who listened but in no way had anything to do with what happened. But I feel everyone needs to know how poorly att in flint on Miller road treat elderly customers who need assistance. I encourage anyone who reads these comments and posts to reach out for more details. I'll be sharing on all of my platforms. Mathew and Att treatment of the elderly is nothing short of disgusting. Looking at some of the reviews it's clear some of you didn't have the same feeling and experience as my fiancé and myself. Let me explain our visit this evening. First off by being greeted immediately after entering the store by Laurel, we mentioned how we were looking at possibly switching a phone from Verizon and upgrading another that was already on AT&T. Her willingness to explain everything in great detail and help us decide on upgrading one phone and setting up the process of ordering another separate phone was painless. Laurel's knowledge about the Company and products Are truly extraordinary. Her attention to detail is impeccable. The process took a little over an hour but if you're like me having someone there to explain what's going on while simultaneously making you feel welcome can really make you feel at ease, she mentioned her time with AT&T has been around Nine years and it truly shows. I'm sorry for anyone that doesn't get to experience her character and willingness to exceed someone's expectations during the "new phone" process. Laurel has turned us into an AT&T family and we couldn't be happier with the product and service we received. Thank you again Laurel. read more

Probably the worst AT&T store in the chain. Unhelpful, bitchy employees who would rather scream over customers than let them talk. I went in for an upgrade. I made an appointment, yet I had to wait 15 minutes to see someone. This woman started explaining the new upgrade stuff, and the second I asked her a question, she just got up and walked away. She came back with this manager who sat down with a piece of paper and started acting like a shady used car dealer. This woman then BERATED me because I had the NERVE to think that I should get a discounted phone in exchange for my 2-year commitment. Then when I asked her why she was being so condescending, she completely shut down. She gave me a bullshit line about how "this is how wireless works all around the world now." I explained to her how wireless works in England, and how I can take a £10 SIM home from there and get access to both AT&T and T-Mobile's networks for an entire month anonymously, and she said "Well, you should do that then" and dismissed me. "You expect me to come up with a third option for you, and there isn't one." Well, there was. I walked out of there fully committed to canceling my service thanks to this manager and her awful staff. Avoid this store like the plague. read more

Unfortunately AT&T could not help me in my quest to separate from Comcast, but the sales associate was helpful and friendly in trying to point out options they could offer me. Having read previous comments on bad customer service, I was pleasantly surprised and would definitely return here for future needs. read more

The mishandling & incompetence began here. All we needed was for them to honor the words that came out of their mouths. It turned out they either were incompetent or dishonest. The level of incompetence & dishonesty increased the more people in the organization passed us from one department back to the same department we were just transferred from. We spent hours on the phone trying to fix it. As of now At & t has over 20,000 complaints on the Better Business Bureau website. I guess it's time to starting sharing them on yelp. read more

We were in town to celebrate my moms 90 th birthday. We'd purchased a new iPad in Denver and thought it was good to go to give her as a gift. Unfortunately, it wasn't and all the calls to the in home tech that set it up failed. We went to the ATT store i Owosso and worked with Nicole . She persevered and was able to untangle the complicated mess. She and Cody were professional and patient. A+++! read more

I feel deceived by the AT&T sales person at this office. Went in to get new phone and be added to my husbands account. Told salesman that I'm only paying $45.00 for unlimited everything and when all was said and done new phone will only cost about an extra $15.00. Well guess what my $45.00 bill that should be $60.00 is now $118.76. How nice of AT&T to treat a recent widow and a mother of a Marine recruit. I feel very hurt, disappointed, lied to and taken advantage. Now they won't even let me bring phone back and cancel. So please if you have ever felt like I do. Don't do business with AT&T. My 93 year old, WWII veteran father went in to find out why he had gotten shut off notices for his landline. It turned out to be a credit card issue, which was resolved, but Ronaldo decided to convince my 93 year old father that he needed an upgrade and proceeded to set him up for a new line and new number, which required a password and pin. Luckily we discovered this before any changes were made and were able to stop it and allow my father to keep his current line and number. Imagine my surprise then when I found out that after my father had gone back to make sure his account was in order, Ronaldo (who I had spoken to directly) had convinced him to upgrade once again, this time including Direct TV (my dad lives in a condo where he gets free cable). Luckily we once again caught it in time, before his account was changed. This store and Ronaldo in particular, seems to prey on people who aren't tech savvy and in our case, the elderly. read more

This place is the worst. Generally poor customer service every time I've had to go in there. Either they take forever, even though they tend to have very few customers, or else they act like you're not a paying customer.
