So they came to my house to do absolutely nothing but stand and talk about how he can send me someone to fix my problem for more than my refrigerator cost brand new. This has been going on for almost 4 months now with no resolution. Their website FAQ states very clearly that they are insured and any damage to belongings will be replaced or repaired. Not finding that to be the case at all as they are refusing to return calls or emails. Not reputable in my opinion.

I was told they did the location, which was not too far from the previous location. DUSTOUT was a small company of 3 or 4 people, including the owner when I had my parents' ducts cleaned, and there was no answering service back in January. In fact, I spoke with the owner himself, who was helpful and knowledgable. In that they were a small company, I wanted to help them by making a point to give them a good review for good service. Fast forward to now, they have a whole answering service apparatus with a phone tree. Everyone loves an answering service with a phone tree! /s So I left a message with the details of the new job. They said they would call back. They didn't. I called *three more times* over the space of a week. I emailed the owner. Nothing. Crickets. I asked if they had new ownership and they said, "no". I asked for an estimate like last time, and now they tell me that they don't give estimates before they arrive. Now, one is supposed to allow them to come and they will tell you how much the job is after they arrive to do the job. (?) Who would agree to that? Not sure what to believe about DUSTOUT now. I have *still* not received a call back. I have not received an email back. So I hired another small company. I'll keep you guys posted on the job he does. I guess DUSTOUT used to be great, but I have no idea what is going on at this company now. I guess I'd say avoid DUSTOUT until they can get their act together. ***CERTIFICATION: They are no longer listed at the NADCA website as being "NADCA certified air duct cleaners" as of 3/23/26. I immediately decided to hire auto appraise after speaking to her. I called couple of times during the process to ask questions and she was very patient to answer all of them politely. Travis and Jennifer worked on this for less than a week and conveyed the good news on last Friday . I got a signed copy of the agreed price between Travis and the insurance appraiser and the new price was more than 3.5 than the original offer. Our father passed away in October and it was a tough time for all of us. We had plenty of family coming through the house and we enjoyed going in the hot tub now and then. However, we noticed the water level was a bit low at times, so we called Lifestyles to come take a look. The first service rep came out and claimed "the water level was too high and he needed to come back at a different time." We were ok with that. The rep charged us $164 for a service visit and informed us that this charge would count towards the next time they came out to check. Again, completely acceptable. Then, the problems started. The rep took more than 2 weeks to come back out and when he did, he only claimed "the cap was too loose so we tightened it." He proceeded to charge my mother additional fees for that. That didn't solve the problem, however! We still noticed the water levels were low. We called them back to have them come out and fix it (as they should have the other 2 times they came). They did, but then proceeded to charge my mother ANOTHER $164 for a service visit. Basically, doubled the service visit fees despite a single fix and the reason for the multiple visits was their fault. When we reached out to them to discuss the charges, the person on the phone refused to transfer my mother to the manager and claimed "these charges look standard." Refused to help my mother with ANYTHING! Needless to say, we will NOT be giving them our business anymore and I would recommend the same to anyone else

They understand that it's a large leisure purchase and you want to be sure of what you get. They also gave us all the treatment chemicals free to start out with! At the end of my first month I brought in a water sample and they used a machine to give a detailed readout beyond what a test strip could do. Then the manager plotted out all the steps to bring my water into all ideal ranges and also wrote me out a cheat sheet for future use. I would definitely recommend using them and I really value that they are local.
