Thank you Cassie for amazing service. We recently visited store to move some of our phone lines to AT&T. As we entered Cassie pleasantly greeted us and told us she'd be right with us. Because other employees hadn't shown up, we had to wait a bit but Cassie made up for the wait 10 fold! She was helpful, patient, knowledgeable and made the process of switching over so easy. Walked in the store and everyone just looked at me like I had walked into their house or something. I was never greeted by anyone and I just stood there for an awkward 10 mins waiting to be greeted or asked what I came in for. The place was nearly dead and they still acted as if I didn't exist. Terrible service and environment. This store is the only AT&T I will use from now on. Jack V. is an amazing consultant- not only did he listen to my concerns over the phone, but when I came in he took the time to sit down and address each one individually. Jack is the example of courtesy and care that all employees should follow. This is something that 4 hours at another still and on the phone with support were unable to explain and address. Super good customer service. One is Oscar and the other I don't remember. Not sure where all these bad reviews are coming from, perhaps there was a management change in the past 3 months or something. My good experience is based on comparison with the ATT store on George Dieter and Zaragoza near Tinseltown; several times I've walked in and either the person didn't know the details I knew from spending 9 combined hours researching their plans and reviews, or they were unwilling to explain plan details just because they couldn't switch my plan themselves and I had to make the change by phone or online myself. Like, really, you won't even help clarify detailed questions before I make the change myself? And they were more eager to return to their group of friends to talk and chat than they were to calmly help. I even brought out my phone to prove they were wrong according to ATT.com but they insisted their interpretation of the text on their iPad was correct, and their interpretation was obviously wrong. Man... So I left and went to this location on Montwood, and it was night and day. Super helpful guy, he never mentioned once "oh you have to do that yourself by phone or online, I can give you some info but I mean you'd have to do it yourself at home anyways so let me rush you out of here." Quite the opposite, he was super patient and knew the details and explained everything well. Fluently addressed my concerns and sat down with me the whole time, up until the end where I asked to ensure whether I'd have to do the change myself. Then months later I returned and another guy, Oscar, helped us out very well. Super satisfied with these instances especially in stark contrast to the George Dieter location, enough that I was compelled to leave a review. And it's perplexing because the yelp reviews are low for Montwood and high for George Dieter. I dunno about that. That's the opposite of my anecdotal experience. read more

I came in the other day to purchase a phone myself for the first time, and immediately, a very nice women took me to a table and thoroughly explained the plans and prices after I told her what I wanted and my budget. Seriously the worst customer service I experienced at any store. If I was the manager, I would fire every guy in there. We walked in, and they didn't even greet us. They were busy checking their phones and it seems too inconvenient for them to actually ask how they could help us or what we need. This $h!t just made me so mad I don't ever want to come back. Be careful if u have elderly relatives this store likes to talk them into services they don't need. They had my ant 90years young to a two year contract. And a phone system that had internet and wireless service (neither she needed or new what it was, shame on YOU). I went in and the customer service was good but it is not until I get my bill the I find out the information I received was incorrect. I inquired about putting my husband's line on suspension for 1 year since he will be working outside of the country. I did inform them that he is not military. I was told I would only have have to pay for his equipment plan (we pay installments for the equipment). I ended up having to call in to change the scheduled date of suspension. I was given the same information by the customer service rep over the phone. I get my bill and I get charged 10.00 plus the equipment charge. I call to rectify the matter and receive that worse customer service. I was basically told it is not their responsibility to ensure the information I was provided is honored. Then the representatives today refused to provide employee ID numbers so I could include them in my BBB complaint. I cancelled both my lines and will be cancelling the internet service I have with AT&T. But I do not blame the store rep. AT&T has a systemic problem with not training people correctly with the information regarding their services and then expects the costumers to just eat the cost. Unacceptable AT&T and shame on you. I currently was paying over 250.00/month for the 2 cell phones and the internet. It is not a matter of the 10.00/month. I can afford it, but why should I take responsibility for your representatives not being trained properly and giving out incorrect information. read more
