We went into this Office Depot location after having looked up different prices on the internet for various other competitors. Office Depot was one of the few that had updated inventory online, meaning they actually had the items in stock that they said were in stock. The checkout was not only fast, but the cashier let us know about a current promotion that actually ended up saving us $85! I'm not kidding, $85!! I told her she made our day, because she truly did. She definitely did not have to tell us about any promotion and she could have just ring us up and sent us along our way, but she went out of her way to help us. Great customer service is hard to find nowadays and for that reason I highly recommend this location of Office Depot! read more

Went today at about 2:30 pm, bunch of looser employees doing nothing, the minute they saw me everyone wanted to help. Talk about too many employees with nothing to do. I let the one young lady know i was looking for printer cables. She was very helpful, polite and knowledgeable. She led us to where the printer cables were. However, the experience soon turned sour. It wasnt even a minute after the girl had led us there, that some dumb a$$ tall white balding guy some employee wearing a mask for keeping his diseases he carries from spreading on customers, asked me if i needed any help. So to make him feel useful since he looked I said, looking for printer cables. So he said they're right infront of you.( In my head i know mr obvious I ain't blind or stupid). So i proceeded to make him feel more useful for the useless person he is. I said I am looking for printer cables that are 7 ft or longer. So he pointed the 16 ft ones etc. I said THANK YOU!. However, that was not the end. A smart employee would have stopped there. I perused through the store just browsing attempting to see what else i wanted to waste money on with my disposable income. I then ran into crayons and my first thought was "what happened to the original GOLD, SILVER, COPPER colors in crayola" so I looked in one of the boxes, even pulled out one crayon to see the gold color. It is not the same as the ones when I was a kid. I put it back and continued through the store. Turned one isle mind you it was not even 5 minutes afte i had looked at those crayons. AND GUESS WHO I RUN INTO? That same receding haired tall Vulture. Asking me again if I needed help looking for something. Again, to make him feel useful I invented i was looking for and told him if they carry hooks with nails for hanging frames like for awards. He said they did not. As we held this short conversation with him on his hands he was carrying the same CRAYOLA box I had been looking at just less than 5 five minutes ago, and he was counting the crayons inside And he gave me this look a stare....I was huh Seriously? As if I had taken a crayon or something. This was very strange creepy and weird of him. I am never going in to that store again. That made me feel very uncomfortable. It made me feel as if I was being watched from the second I went in the store as if I am going to steal a desk and an entire office set up and hide it in my right pocket somehow. Bottom line they have weird employees who will stalk you and stare at you at every little thing you do. They have too many employees working in a location that looks like a cemetery with no customers. Then office depot wonders why they are going bankrupt and will soon be filing chapter 11. I've been there twice and both times I was pretty happy with their service. When I went there for the first time, I wanted to buy resume papers but I couldn't find it. I asked for a help, and the staff was very polite and knowledgeable about where their each product was located. He took me to the right aisle and gave me a recommendation of which paper I should get. Also, he told me that I should get a resume holder too as I wasn't gonna send my resume to the company before my interview but bring it with me on the day of my interview. I didn't even know there's such stuff. I got complements from the managers on the resume holder.. :) and yes I got the job thanks to them. I went there again when I had to print out some documents. I only had a digital copy of them so they let me use their laptop to send the documents to their email and printed them out for me. (Btw it's a great service. All you have to do is to get their email and send stuff you wanna print out, then go to the "print out" counter behind the cashiers. There's usually only one person working so you could wait quite a long time but it's an useful service if you don't have a printer at home. ) But again, the staff was there to show me how to do it step by step. I'm glad this one is the closest one from my house. I'll go look for a printer there next time :) read more

I had an exchange for a file holder for a level surface. It was crooked. So exchanged it with no trouble. But I asked the front area manager to see if I could ask to use my rewards in the exchange. She said yes initially, but then didn't grant my request. I don't think she wanted to help the cashier to grant the request and probably wasn't trained to do it. Who knows. That's The problem is that done companies don't train their staff adequately. read more

Pretty consistently bad customer service. The first time I came here, I printed 2 copies at the copy station and owed less than a dollar. I stood at the checkout line for 5-10 minutes while two associates were at a register and none of them acknowledged that I was waiting. Another employee walked up and I asked her if this was the right place to get checked out. She was like yes, are you being helped? And I said no... she looked over at the two of the other employees but didn't say anything then rung me out for whatever change I owed. Then the other time I went looking for a desk, it took legitimately a half hour before anyone acknowledged me. The first employee said they had one desk available in the store but then he got called to help with something else and I said he could help them first. Another employee came up while I was waiting for the first and then she told me none were available. Um okay....The employees just seem short staffed, I don't know. But having worked retail myself and working as a nurse, I understand some patience from clients goes a long way. However, this Office Depot leaves a lot to be desired. Terrible store. read more

I e-mailed something to be printed in the am and was headed to pick it up in the afternoon. I called just to make sure it was ready and was told they never received it. I told her it was sent but she insisted it wasn't received so I returned home to resend and saw that it had, in fact, been sent. When I called and spoke to the same employee and insisted for the fourth time she said it was in the junk folder. I received no apology, no discount for my travel home and back to the store (I live on the other side of town). I will definitely look elsewhere when in need of copies or special projects. read more
