I gave exact instructions and the print counter person echoed the instructions back, but I did not get what I requested waisting my time and I don;t have extra time to return multiple times. I bought a computer desk last week and really liked the quality of it. The buying process took less than 5 minutes. Today I went to buy a second desk for my kid and was told "they couldn't sell me the desk (which comes in a box) because the store was about to close in 10 minutes." I offered to go get the box myself, if it was such a hassle. Alejandra (who claimed to be the manager) told me I wasn't allowed to get it. I often go to Office Depot when I'm preparing for a Yelp event. I also go when I need something faxed or shipped. I prefer them over FedEx Kinko's. I think the service is better and it's a lot less expensive. FedEx charges you by the minute if you use their computer and do stuff on your own. I don't like that. Office Depot has their own copy machines but not computers. All you have to do is email them the documents you wanted printed and they do it for you. You can also do the copies on your own. The copies usually come out to less than 20 cents each in black and white. They're more in full color. I know it's cheaper to use the library but this will do for me. I often forget to go to the library! I live by the Office Depot on the westside but the service and cleanliness of the store is better at this location. The employees at this one are so kind! They're really friendly and helpful. They really go above and beyond to help a customer. It's not quite the same at the Sunland Park location. The employees at that one sort of act like you're bothering them when you ask for copies. The young lady who helped me charged me the black and white rate when I had one color in the copies I needed. She double checked everything was fine and the correct number of copies were there. She also let me pay for something I wanted aside from the copies. Kind, little gestures like that make an impression on me. I usually go and visit my family on the eastside every week. I think I'm also going to make it a point to stop at this Office Max from now on. Thank you for making my last visit pleasant. read more

I ordered and paid $989 for two 4 feet by 8 feet dry erase boards from Office Depot at Las Palmas and they were to be delivered. I was given a delivery date and when they weren't, I went to store and was told that the boards had been delivered. The store manager at the time showed me the delivery info. sheet and it stated that the boards had been delivered but when he researched the information, he found that the delivery had been cancelled because there was no merchandise in the delivery truck, strange. He asked me to go to the store the following day to speak to the manager who ordered the boards. I went the next day and had to reorder the boards but was told I had to pay for them since the first order was cancelled and the money was being refunded. I was given a delivery date and only one board was delivered. I waited to see if second board would be delivered but it wasn't. I went to the store but the person in charge couldn't help me. I asked about my refund ($989) for the first order and was told that my money had already been refunded. I told him it had not been refunded but he stated that store records showed it had been refunded. he didn't give me a copy of store record where it showed money had been returned to my account and he cancelled the order for second board which was not delivered. I was very frustrated because it had been a back and forth for about three weeks. I finally went to my bank and I was told I could dispute the charge for the $989 because Office Depot didn't issue a refund. Only when my bank took action to dispute charge did Office Depot decide to refund my money within 3 days! Not happy with the service I got at Office Depot much less the lack of coordination between their managing staff! read more

Printing / copy services are absolute hell. It took me an hour and half just to scan and TRY to print something. Only for it to come out stretched out looking terrible. You can't email me my scans?? I had to drive home just to pick up a damn USB drive because that's the only way they scan images. read more

Nice location with friendly staff. They have a variety of products. My one complaint is with pen refill area. I use Jetstrfine point, and Office Depot does not carry them, only the fine point. If a store carries the 3 pack in fine point why do they not carry the refills in fine point? read more

5 stars cause I got customer service. Went to Office Depot on Geronimo and although inventory showed 2 office chairs that I selected, actually they did not have in store. Gentlemen did not offer to check other stores in area until I pushed and he checked sunland park's inventory. Claimed they had 2 but did not offer to call even when I asked. We left store without sale or any direction for even getting our item. On a whim called George Dieter store and Ashley not only checked inventory, she checked physically and confirmed. Then asked if she could pull and have waiting for us with our name. All was as promised and completed sale because of simple customer service. read more

Went to go have something printed this morning and I asked the guy behind the counter if he could produce the job for me mind you it was something super easy to do and he gave me the run around about how if he scanned my paper and uploaded it that it would come out wrong if he tried to edit the page so I let it go I went back to the counter after q few minutes to ask him for something else and he had an attitude and directed me to the self serve machines saying he was busy. There was 3 people in CPD and no one knew what they were doing. I think this individual needs to be trained better because i am currently a supervisor for the CPD in one of our Las Vegas stores and the job I was asking this kid to do would have taken 3 minutes tops yet he gave me a million excuses as to why he couldn't do the jobs read more

Working to acquire new two-pocket folders for my specific work group in the Ysleta Independent School District, I have visited various suppliers for low bid on the product. Motoring to one of my assigned campuses, this store was conveniently enroute and I stopped. I was immediately met by a cheery floor manager, Charlie, who addressed my needs immediately. Unfortunately, the specific person capable of handing my request was unavailable and I couldn't stay longer--my school work was increasing exponentially the longer away from my office. While returning home after the workday, I retraced my route and stopped once more. This time I met with dedicated store manager Erika, who gave me the exact information required for me to submit to higher authorities for a Purchase Order. Although she was not the specific person I needed 8 hours before, Erika more than met my information requirements. This clean, well-lit store has a multitude of office supplies, staffed with friendly, knowledgeable personnel, all eager to assist customers. You can be I'll return! Dan the manager has been really nice and helpful to me every time i have a problem with my scanner. I bought a hp scanner from here and the first time i bought it it didn't work so i returned it and he gave me a 25% discount off the next scanner i bought. He helped me get it hoocked up to my laptop and now i'm not having any problems with it. I took one star off because of the problem that i had with the last scanner and having to bring it back. read more
