They work off of commissions. All they care about is the sale unfortunately. They don't help transfer or set up your new phone. You can't use their internet and have to do it at your house they told me. If you have an issue they tell you to go to the Apple Store. Wait times are insane with 1-2 workers a day. I highly recommend if you want to purchase anything do that at the Apple Store. The AT&T store on broadway is so so much better! They have the staff. They help you and you can use their internet. read more

I cannot say enough about the help my husband and I have received from this store. Eddie, the manager, was so patient in explaining our plan and helping us in so many ways! On top of that, when we were so frustrated with our new Roku stick that would not stream our DIRECTV, he took the time to help us! (this was not a quick fix) He was so very patient and most generous!! Also, Arlyna was extremely patient with us. We had to come in several times to get clarification on our billing and she would ALWAYS take all the time it we needed to help us understand. I cannot express how thankful we are to her as well! This has been one of the worst, most frustrating customer experiences I've ever dealt with. Our account was not closed properly, nor was the new one opened properly. So far we have been overcharged $600+ and resolution has been promised, but not delivered. My husband and I have gone to the store 3 times since the initial set up and spent around 8 hours trying to get things corrected. There is a complete lack of communication or interest in helping on part of employees. One young woman did assist me, I believe her name is Joniece, and she was smart and helpful. She caught the initial mistake and tried to correct. But, this did not credit our plan the overcharge. The manager of the store is non-communicative and does not assist. I plan on leaving ATT service entirely. I would NEVER return to this particular store for any service or help. read more

Honestly I am not a big fan of AT&T, and if I had to do it all over again, I'd go with a different cell phone company. But I'm with AT&T now, and of course it isn't financially viable to leave. So alas, I stay. I haven't had very good luck with their customer service. At all. Their 1-800 number is akin to the third level of hell. And many of their stores have people who will end up putting you on the phone with the folks at the 800 number. This seems to defeat the purpose of walking into a store, no? That said, I have had good luck at this particular store. The wait time is occasionally longer than I wish it were, but once you do get to a salesperson, you get good help. And they fix what you need fixing. Of course they try to sell you on things you likely don't need, but they do take no for an answer, and they listen and respond to what you are saying. I appreciate that. I keep going back to this location because they give me what I need and they are quite helpful. They make staying with a company I don't want to be with more bearable. read more

Absolutely terrible! Placed an online order to pick up in store, it specifically said not to go to the store until you get the notification that it's ready! Was supposed to be ready in about 2 hours... called numerous times, no one answered, ever! Finally go to the store today (more than 24 hours after placing the order), the guy says, oh yeah, we don't process those until you get here! Just tried to get help with my samsung pad. Three guys sitting on their butts. One asked what I needed but when told didn't even look at my pad. He asked the other two guys who didn't even get up but said they couldn't help. I have bought from them for 20 years but no more. I will go where they at least act like they care. First time at this location. Walking in there's literally 5 employees standing around talking. The one guy that follows me around finally asking me what I'm looking for tell him I need to pay my bills. Tells me to go to the kiosk! Where another girl was. He says you can only pay in exact cash it doesn't give you money back. I ask if I can simply just pay through a person. I swear you would have thought I was asking for a rare dinosaur artifact. While paying I over hear an employee giving false information to someone asking for info on an iPad. I chime in my two scents letting this guy know that the information is not true. The employee became defensive and questioned me. All and all just skip this store. Try another one. Or just pay online. They aren't helpful or knowledgeable. Avoid at all costs! Dishonesty is never appreciated & as well as totally poor customer service. On Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014 we went to this location of ATT to see about getting a Microcell Tower because in our home we literally get no cell reception. We have to be outside to get decent coverage. Our next door neighbors said they went to ATT and told them of our problem and a very helpful manager looked up their address, confirmed they were in a dead zone w/ poor coverage and gave them a microcell tower free of charge & it has fixed the problem. I thought great, so we straight to ATT but the nieghbors husband mistakenly gave us this location in stead of ATT at 1255 E 2nd St, Edmond ( which his wife later told us correctly) Upon entering the store, I actually asked to speak with the manager since they had told me to go directly to him. The door attendant instead sent over a young man who we told the following. 1) We are at end of contract & both want to update to the new IPhone 6 & 2) we explained the Microcell Tower situation and our nieghbors success and would like the same thing. ( By the way been an ATT customer since 2002) The young man took my info, told us he would get the microcell tower for us asked for my drivers license for verification and then asked how I would be paying for it, by credit card or adding onto bill? I said well neither, my neighbors got their microcell tower for free because we can't get ATT service in the homes and we have paid for an almost unusable service for many years and would like to be extended the same customer service and courtesy. His exact words were" How they heck did they get it for free?" I don't think we can do that" to which we replied, well your manager did it for our neighbor and if you want us to keep using the service I'd find out what you can do. He replied" I'll talk to manager. We were told by the door attendant the manager was a lady whom he had pointed out to us when we got there. Our attendant then went over to another employee and was telling him the situation and the guy was already shaking his head and his body language told us we were going to be told "no". after 15 minutes of not returning to us, my wife asked what the status was and he said" they were trying to locate a micro cell tower for us. To which I said "Umm, 15 minutes ago you were going to the back to get me one until i told you I wanted one for free???" After another 10 minutes he walks over and says" Sorry we are out of luck because they tried locating a micro cell tower for us at all the ATT stores in the state of Oklahoma & the only "2" they found were in Elk City & WoodWard . and that they couldn't help me unless I wanted to drive out there to get one." I said" well can you order one and have it shipped to me or shipped to your store for me to pick up? " He replied" No, we can;t do that you have to call ATT customer service on your phone 611 and ask them" I said, " But YOU ARE AT&T & I am standing in your store!" "Yeah, sorry, we can't help you, you have to call AT&T. "He stated. I said" So there is nothing else you can do for me?" He said" No, afraid not". So our continued business and purchasing two new phones is of no value to you guys". He just kind of looked at me and said" Sorry, unless you want to drive to Clinton or Elk City" We left very upset. Called our nieghbor in the parking lot to relay the story. She said" Oh we din;t go to that store we went to the one on 1255 E 2nd St, Edmond, OK 73034. She said I have been to that sotre before and they were rude but the one on 2nd St. is very accomadting and friendly" The Conclusion- We walked into the AT & T store at 1255 E 2nd St, Edmond, and were waited on by Val, who could not have been more friendly & helpful and took care of us immediately. She gave us a "Micro-cell Tower" at no cost and actually said" as you can see on the receipt there is no charge of any kind but simply because we appreciate you being along time AT&T customer & want you to have the best service possible." WOW"! Now here is the kicker, we never told Val we went to the other store with the unhelpful and rude attendants that absolutely had no interest in helping us once I said " free micro-cell tower". We just went in and stated the same as at the other store. SO Val was not making up for the other stores bad behavior, she was jsut being an awesome representative of how customer service SHOULD be taken care of. If we stay with AT&T it would be because Val & her store manager took care of us, and if we leave after so many years, it would surely be due to the rude and non service issues at the location at 2003W Danforth Rd in Edmond,OK. I really wanted to drive directly back to this store and walk in with the micro-cell tower and loudly complain to the manager and staff about being lied too...but my wife( the wise one) encouraged me to take the high road but surely let everyone be know via Yelp. read more

I'm never using any type of AT&T service since they lack common courtesy and decreased the value of my home. AT&T was very thoughtless when installing buried data cables in my neighborhood. WIthout telling us, they cut down several nice large trees near the property easement and buried the cable right where I want to put a fence. It would have been just as easy to locate the buried cable a few feet further on the easement so as not to interfere with the logical place to put a fence. Now a big chunk of my yard has to be outside the fence so I don't obstruct their lines. read more

I went to this store to simply make changes to my services, and I was told that there is no way they could help me with what I needed in the store because it was against policy. I then called the store on Broadway and explained the changes I was wanting to make, and they told me to come to their store and they could easily help me with everything in the store. The representative at this store seemed like she just didn't want to take the time to do her job or listen to the customer, and she was fairly rude for a service representative. If I could give zero stars I would. We went in at 7:00, one hour before closing. There were 3 "sales reps" with customers. 1 "greeter" and 1 "manager" on duty. After waiting for 30 minutes, one of the sales reps finished with her customers and left. The manager and greeter were talking to a buddy. After he left, I went to the manager (Cindy) and asked if the two sales reps were the only ones available to help customers. She said yes. I said we've been waiting for 30 minutes and you just let one leave. She said that person had been there since the morning so yes she let her leave. Then she said I am entering sales receipts so I can't help you. No, but she could joke around with her buddy for fifteen minutes while we were still waiting. We left and went to the ATT store on 2nd street. They had 5 sales reps and two managers helping customers. We were told the wait would be 30 minutes. This was at 7:40 pm. After ten minutes, the manager came and waited on us until a sales rep was free. We were out of there by 8:17. Long story short: we will NEVER step foot in the ATT Store on Danforth again! read more

This location employs the most incompetent individuals I have ever faced. They walk around with their ridiculous iPads and accomplish absolutely nothing. I had to file a complaint with the corporate office today, because not only are the employees incompetent but the manager Darryl is as well. I stopped in to pick up a cell phone that I purchased online, and after about 15 minutes of pushing buttons on his iPad I'm told they can't find my account. Shortly after, I was asked for my I.D. so they could try to find it on the computer. 10 minutes laters, after four idiots can't find my account, I was told my account was fraudulent and that they weren't giving me my driver's license until the police arrived to investigate my AT&T account! Imagine paying taxes so police officers can do AT&T employees job. When I say these ppl are idiots, it is a huge understatement! I eventually got my I.D. back. Shortly after filing my complaint with corporate, I went into a different AT&T and picked up my phone within 5 minutes. These ppl are buffoons. Do NOT do business at this place. Their incompetence will have you in jail. They are asking for a lawsuit. read more

The customer service reps at the danforth store are always the best. I use this place a lot. One day I came in about a screen cover and to get information about the burglar alarm system. I talked the the lady when I walked in about replacing the screen cover I had. She rudely snapped back at me and said "uh we don't do that here". A bit shocked I said that I always come here to get warranty stuff on chargers and was told that stuff has a 1 year warranty at store and figured this cover was the same. She then even more rudely told me that if I had actually read in the box it came in, it said to register it online to get lifetime warranty. After being disrespected and felt like I had been talked to like a dog enough, I kindly asked to speak with the manager. She as spiteful as she could said "I AM the manager here, how can I help you now". I told her that I thought it was a black lady that was. She quickly corrected me to "sir, you mean African American". At this point I felt it would be better if I walked out rather than argue with crystal the supposed manager. I don't know if she was having a bad day but crystal would probably be more effective where she doesn't have to deal with public! read more
