We had some time to peruse and she helped share some of her book recommendations. She shared that they have occasional events and sometimes host book clubs on their big couch. The store looked awesome and everything was well organized. The employee was very helpful, and every time I had to ask for something she knew exactly where it was. The first full run that I read was Brian Micheal Bendis' Ultimate Spider-Man, and I've been looking for issue 106 for some time and had no trouble finding it here. They seem to be branching out a little into sports cards, Lego, Warhammer 40K, even cosplay costumes. We've even sold/traded a few items for credit, and they are very fair. The store is located in a shopping center just south of I-240 on Western, on the east side of the street. It's at the south end and there is plenty of parking. We walked in and were immediately greeted by Joey. I don't know if he's the owner, but by the discussion we had I gathered he has been with Atomik for some time. He found what I needed. After that, my 4 year old talked me into buying him a couple of items, which he usually does. I asked Joey for recommendations for younger kids, and after we found a Fraggle Rock book (mad respect, and I am glad those guys are still around), he showed me Bone. I had not heard of this book, but after doing some research it's incredibly well respected, having won numerous awards in numerous countries. But, most importantly, it is appropriate for kids. Additionally, it looks to be something that both my son and I will enjoy reading. I really appreciated the recommendation and look forward to getting through the book with my son. As I am not a collector, I can't give a good opinion on the quantity or quality of Atomik's stock. But, the store seemed to be full to me, and it was very clean and easy to navigate. I never felt cramped. Importantly, my son and I were treated great by Joey, and he provided us with a fantastic recommendation. I would definitely return.

He just keeps flipping though pokie kids cards. I brought in a huge load of cards from 1952 and older. Without even looking at what i had to offer, he just snapped "I'm not buying". He seemed really annoyed that i even walked into the store. One of my cards was a 1933 Goudey Lou Gehrig. After looking around, i noticed that he only has a really tiny collection of sports card. Most of his items are pokie cards and other cartoon & magic card stuff. Not real sports... He seems to have a lot of reviews from hundreds of other people from different review sites, including Google... They all say the same thing that i am saying. Well.. it's just a matter of time.
