My SIM card stopped working, but I was needing a phone upgrade anyway. They had me get my husband to add me to the family business account for our phone plan, as an authorized user. Now, I needed to verify my identity as an authorized user. The only way to verify identity was through call or text, which was going to be a problem since I didn't have a working SIM card. The girl helping me approached two other girls working there how we should figure this out since my SIM card wasnt working . They had no idea what to do. Seemed like we were sitting around waiting for lighting to strike. They even told me to try sending the verification code through again to see if it would work on the WiFi. No, it didn't! It was only after the final time I sent a verification code that the girl helping me had the BRIGHT idea to take my SIM card out and put back in. Well, now my phone works. Now I can get a verification code. But...it was too late and I'm locked out of verification attempts for the next 24 HOURS. SO I HAVE TO TRY AGAIN TOMORROW. You'd think that could've been suggested earlier. Now I've completely wasted my time. I'm going to another location. read more

We had a wonderful experience at the Verizon in Edmond on Broadway. Damaris helped us figured everything out and easily upgraded my phone with no issues (& no added lines lol) and he was great company while we had to wait to transfer my phone over. The location at 15th an broadway isn't too shabby, given that it's only got 2 stars from four other people. Look we went in the after during the week and our experience was great! The guys name I think was scott? It's been a minute people since we were there lol. But he was totally upfront with us and didn't bs us at all, didn't try to sell us on xyz etc either. We had a great time and it wasn't crowded at all. Either ya go when they first open or during lunch or bout an hr before close an you'll be fine. read more

We had the BEST experience we've ever had at a phone store. Nick helped us with our purchase. We had a broken phone and Nick found us an economic way to get into a new phone. He also took the time to help us set up the phone. Most sales managers don't care to take the time to give detailed help like Nick did. And we got a credit too. My iPhone was stolen last night in Oklahoma City. My husband and I drove to Edmond (all the way from NW 23rd and Meridian, no less!) lickety-split to shut down my stolen phone and to replace it with a new phone just as quickly as we could. He (the hubs) kept saying, "We've got to get there before seven; we've got to get there before seven. They close at seven; they close at seven." We arrived at this particular Verizon location on the Broadway Extension at six p.m. sharp, but found it locked up tighter than a drum. The employee who came to the door wouldn't let me in even though I've been with Verizon for years and made it abundantly clear that I had an emergency on my hands. To add insult to injury, a closing time of (yeah, you guessed it!) seven p.m. was clearly marked on the building's doors. Disgusting. Infuriating. (If you're going to change your hours? Fine. At least have the common decency to post your changed hours over the old hours you refuse to honor.) We will not return, and will encourage our many friends to avoid this Verizon store like the plague. The "special hours" are listed here on Yelp, as it turns out, but were only posted (and on Yelp, I see) just a few days ago. (The front door still clearly says that closing is at seven p.m., or at least it did just last night.) How was I to know that from past experience? I drove all the way from Midtown so I could arrive here on what I reasonably thought was closing time. Even if I were wrong, you'd think that they'd have let me in long enough to a) explain my situation and b) quickly replace my iPhone. (But you'd be wrong.) The bottom line: there are just way too many cell phone carriers competing for my business for me to have to put up with crap like this. To quote fellow Yelper Jennifer H's review from 2016: "The in-store manager also was obnoxious and arrogant. How sad that there was only one review with one star. That was definitely not my experience when I came here. I learned about a really good iPhone deal where I could get the iPhone 7+ for half the price. When I walked in, I was instantly greeted by the workers in the store who were all very friendly. Aaron ended up helping me through the process of not only getting a new phone, but also switching carriers. I was with Sprint before. He really helped me feel less stressed through the whole process. I really felt like he had my best interests in mind. He knew exactly what he was doing so it did not feel like everything was dragged out. He was also really patient in answering any of my questions. Finally, I think he really helped me in getting the most use out of my phone by helping me do things like scan multiple fingers to unlock it and take advantage of the wallet feature of the phone. The manager was also very helpful with anything we needed. I am glad I switched to Verizon and was assisted by this store. 5 stars! read more

Awful experience here last weekend. I went in to upgrade my son's iPhone. They sent me home twice over 2 days without activating the phone and blamed the issue on Apple. In total, I spent 5 hours in the store, waiting for them to fix the issue. It turns out that the Verizon sales tech had forgotten to purge my son's old phone from the system and so could not add the new phone. I learned this only because the Apple advisor connected me in a 3-way call with a Verizon advisor, who recognized the issue in 5 minutes. The in-store manager also was obnoxious and arrogant. Poor service, poor knowledge, and arrogance does not make a winning combination. read more
