Stay clear of this AT&T store if you are looking for help. This store is like a used car lot, you go in trying to get something repaired and all they are interested in is selling you something new. I went in to get my screen protector replaced and they had my wife and daughter all jacked up to get new phones and tablets. Believe me that is not easy to say no to. After all the talk about my bill only going up 10-15 dollars a month adding the 2 tablets and paying all the tax due. (while technically true, this is only the cost of the plan, adding 2 phone and 2 tablets, the real cost is over $50 per month for the next 3 years) I relented and said yes. I went home and researched what we had purchased and found out everything was 2-3 year old models, the tablets were very under powered (only 4gb ram and older processor). I talked with my wife and we decided to return everything. The next day we made sure everything we had was boxed up (one phone and one tablet had to be shipped to us, so we didn't have them yet) and went back to the store. The store was much busier on Monday than it was on Sunday. We were told we were the 4th in line to be helped. A half hour later the manager (who had helped us the day before) came by and commented I think I know what this is about and said he would help us personally. He then walked outside for 15 minutes for a phone call, came back in the store and disappeared into the back room. Then another sales person came and I requested help returning everything by the next available person. He disappeared into the back and the manager came out and again said he would help us and walked off. We sat there for 2 hours watching people come and go. Everyone who needed help fixing something was swerved into looking at new phones. If they chose not to buy a phone, they were told the store couldn't fix anything and were directed to the nearest YouBreakIFix location or told to search Google (YES SEARCH GOOGLE). Finally the manager starts helping with the returns and let's us know there is a $55 restocking fee per device ($220 for all 4 devices) would be taken out of the refund for the taxes we paid. Then proceeded to tell us we could take everything home and do the return over the phone to save the restocking fee. This store is great at redirecting issues to some place else. So, we wasted 3 hour of our lives on Sunday, 3 more hours on Monday, essentially wanting a screen protector replaced. Yes, I was a bit peeved at this point. I did do the return over the phone, printed 4 return labels, boxed each device independently and affixed the respective shipping label and dropped off at UPS. In the meantime, I still need my screen protector replaced, so I ordered a double pack from Amazon for $8. Wish I would have done that on Sunday, I probably spent $8 in gas going back and forth to the AT&T store and UPS. I'm still waiting for refunds (which take 15 business after the equipment is received. Oh, I did get my daughter a phone off Amazon the Google Pixel Fold, using my Prime Visa to pay over 12 month. This way I don't have to sign any new 3 year contracts and will be able to find a new carrier in 12 months when my phone is paid off and off contract. It used to be you would get a free phone if you signed a contract, now the only reason to sign a contract is to be able to pay for the phone over time. Just buy unlocked phones off Amazon and put your money in the bank to pay for the next phone and keep your freedom to switch carriers. If EVERYONE did that, the carriers would have to work a lot harder to keep their customers. I'm starting to think all of their good reviews are from family/friends, because our experience is the complete opposite! I wanted to add that I recently moved to the area. My old AT&T store was extremely helpful. They would swap out screen protectors in 5 minutes. I went to that store for 15 years. I opened my account in 1996, went through the Cingular years, and then back to AT&T. My account has not changed in 29 years. read more

First off, I hate giving bad reviews. I generally only leave reviews for places that are amazing or bad. In this stores case they are amazingly bad. I was here 2 months ago and had a horrible experience and today was no better. They are always extremely slow. I can understand that if you are busy and I can wait. However, it's extremely annoying when today I walk in, see people sat being helped, after a few minutes am asked to sit until they get to me, then as I wait a line forms and the person who asked me to sit and wait starts signing them in before me and helping the three people who came in 10 minutes or more after I did. When I said excuse me and asked to be signed in I was told that someone else would help me. Here's an idea. The first person free helps the next person in line. This place is a joke and is only making me want to drop my service even sooner. read more

Dre is the best! I just upgraded to a new iPhone and she helped transferred all my data and educated me on how to work my new phone. They have lots of staff onsite so waiting seems like it doesn't exist. They took care of me right away! I was so impressed as usually it's a headache to deal with any kind of wireless store. They stay open until the last minute which was also impressive, usually these stores want to start closing 15 min early. I felt great customer service here and would highly recommend visiting this store for your services. I work with phones all day as a service rep. I needed to see if what clients where seeing while logging in to view their paychecks was the same information I had for iPhones/Androids/Galaxy. I made an appointment which I was early for, no problem Kimberly meet me at the door and understood I was new to the area and what I wanted to do. The service was AMAZING and I did end up buying a new phone as my hadn't been updated since 2017. Now I loved my AT&T store in Santee, CA and now the D'Iberville, MS is my new store. I will never step foot in this store again. Went in because my upgraded phone that AT&T sent kept getting stuck in upgraded the software and would not finish doing the install. The woman that was helping me told me that they must have sent me a bad phone. She then suggested I could go to Best buy have the geek squad look at it. This was a phone that I had just received the night before from AT&T. She had no other options for me, besides I should have a warranty from Apple. Talk about lazy people. Warning -This will be loooong. Bluntness-5 stars are for the consultant Jared,not the store for sure. He deserves to be relocated and promoted to his own store to run-yes that great of a guy, knowledge and service. This review was necessary for Jared's accolade. . 2 weeks ago, after visiting Best Buy to assist in obtaining a new phone-They were out of phones and I purchased a "get -by'r" for $150-I already missed 2 conf calls and had a VERY imp't business call the next morning. As I was heading back home to New Orleans, my phone would not allow me to make any calls. I circled back to BB-When I arrived, yes, they were CLOSED!! They close early now apparently. I was totally panicking-absolutely zero communication. I saw AT&T was open and quickly flocked to their store. . I'm an observer/analyzer and 'one' of my professions (investigations) - I walked into the store and saw people sitting and some were being cared for by reps. I was a bit disappointed. I did not obtain names; however there was a guy with a long beard sitting at the main desk (reddish, short hair), another guy with black hair and a young lady in the back at the table with brown hair/mid-back. ZERO greeting, ZERO eye contact..Nothing! My first thought after sitting on the round sofa (after waiting 15 mins and still NO greeting) was to walk out, but I was more shocked there was NO recognition of a customer who just walked in. Did they see me-Yes, there was no way they did not see me or knew I walked in (the door chimes). I then asked the young lady was walked by briskly-Is there a sign-in sheet?" She barely slowed up and stated to the guy at the front desk (long beard)-"Do you have her or keeping order?" He shook his head-yes, I know. She then came back and stated - "He has you in line." Wow-very unprofessional...Other customers came in following me and they were greeting with "Hello - someone will be right with you." Interesting...To see the responses on here stating "Our #1 goal is to provide you with an exceptional customer service".."Serving our customers with the best service possible is what we strive for every day"..Ummm-NEGATIVE on my 1st visit of entering the store-Negative, negative, negative...Continuing-I waiting another 15/20 mins and still no contact and communication. Then just as I was @ to leave, another guy walked in (tattoo on his arm)-Jared. Being the observer I am...I wanted to see how this would play out. He glanced the store as he walked in and we made contact, he motioned with his head-Hello. He went in the back and came back with an iPad and paper, and took the customers who entered "AFTER" I did. I asked him as he passed by-"Do I need to sign in?" He stopped and stated-You haven't signed in? I stated-"No, and why are customers who entered 'after' me are receiving service?" He apologizes and stated "My name is Jared. I will enter you in. I had an appt with the customers I'm taking-I apologized for that-I know how it must look." I replied - "There was no greeting when I walked in and I've bee sitting here at least 20 mins, if there was SOME communication and CS etiquette when I walked in would have been helpful." Now...as he was getting my name and entering into his iPad-they guy at the front desk signaled him to the front. Because of the face mask I could not read lips, but I understood what was being expressed. My time came and Jared assist me (he yet apologized again for my initial entrance in the store). He assisted me with my phone and even allowed me to use his personal phone. Unbelievable how kind he is! I came back the following day (scheduled appt with my son and yet again-AHMazing service, time and attention from Jared. He and my son (18) immediately connected he made our time absolutely pleasant and enjoyable. He ordered a business phone for us, shipped directly to my house-exact date and time as he stated. I will ONLY visit this location, as long as Jared is there! Only! . Again-can't say enough about his attention to his customers-talk about true CS/candor/great vibe/knowledge-Exceptional! I travel the U.S. a lot and the absolute BEST CS I've ever received was Jared. He left me with a smile that there are still great people around and truly care about people and is genuine. . Understanding what it truly means it's stated "exceptional CS"-Jared's behavior echoes it! Seeing the reviews below-so many more agree. He deserves more than "Atta boy" and "he will be happy to see this review". Promote him. Jared, you are AH-Mazing! With your skills and talent-you should truly think about going in business for yourself and brand yourself! As they say-build it and they will come! If I could give less than 1 star I would. I've gone to this location on 3 separate occasions and sat there for 30+ minutes waiting to speak to a sales rep. We just left after one of the representatives looked at us, and then went to help two other individuals that walked in after us. If I could score this store and it's employees a zero I would. If you want to be robbed right under your nose, this is the store to go to. Ask for Jared Carter, he will certainly do the bait and switch on you. He will quote you a price and include a quote for coverage of all phones purchased, just for you to find out a month later that your bill is more than double the quote, and only one phone is covered by insurance. After 6 months of attempting to get this resolved, we simply get him dodging out of the back of the store and never intending to resolve the issue of the bait and switch. You sign what is quoted, before you get a receipt of what you paid for. Therefore it is all verbal until AFTER you pay. The management does NOT have a backbone to confront or solve the problem. They all say it's above their level. Funny how they can bait and switch at their level, but can't fix it at their level. WHAT A SCAM. AVOID THIS STORE AND JARED CARTER. AT&T has THE worst customer service anytime you need to speak to someone about anything you are calling overseas. About the 5th time I called to have them stop billing me for a bogo phone I asked to speak to a supervisor I was on hold for 45 mins but I was determined to have this matter resolved. do u know they kept coming back to me making sure I was holding and then after 45 mins they told me a supervisor would call me... it's been 10 months now and I still cannot get a supervisor to call me. My partner and I visited this location on Monday, August 19th, 2019, and we received excellent service from the moment we entered the door. Our associate, Casey, was attentive to our needs, from finding a new phone for my partner (our original reason for being there), to helping us add my number to the account, finding a plethora of deals and discounts, and helping us sign up for faster, cheaper internet than we had through another company. For a visit that was over 2 hours, we were the sole focus for her, and we never felt pressured into anything. Their manager, Carl, was also handy when we needed managerial approval for other issues we had. My wife and I wanted to change providers and the salesperson knew how to sale. After a few months my phone would not receive calls or receive calls, so we went back to the store. The person that helps us, since we had the same phone and hers worked mine should to. He changed out the SD card and it worked while we were in the store, we get home the same issue occurred. We went back to the store 2 more time with the same issue, and they acted like it was no concern to them. Also, my wife had bout the chrome laptop that was supposed to sync to her phone. Before she bought it, she told them what she wanted and how she was going to use it. She could not get them to sync so we took it back to the store as well. They told her the two were not compatible and then told her to take them to Geek Squad. It appears that after the sale is made, they could care less about the customer. I would not recommend doing business at this store unless you are a tech yourself, in case you have issues with your product. Personally, I would not give them a one star. read more

I bought a Samsung Gear Fit there for $199 dollars. Come to find out that all the stores around them and even the manufacturer are selling them for $99. So, I go to get a credit to apply to my bill since I am also an AT&T Customer that pays about $250 per month for service. Well they tell me they can't do it. The next day I bring back the device to return it since I bought it at another store for $99. To be honest, I felt like I was being taken advantage off even as an existing customer. It was the worst customer service I've ever experienced.This was my second trip there and they didn't even check us in till we ask them 20 mins there,didn't even get greeted.When another customer walk in we told her they haven't checked us in she told us that it was her second time back.Then when we asked about a waiting time the lady was rude and to us 65 mins with only a few people in the store smh.We left and went to ocean springs store and got help right away.Who ever the manager is needs to be demoted!!! *FYI: If you purchase and return items in MS, there is a law not to charge a restocking fee. Does not count if purchased online. Only return to corporate store not authorized retailer. Even though the authorized retailer has the AT&T logo. I hope any of this info helps you. Our cluster fuck, your gain. There is years of issues but not enough time to explain. There is an exhausting history with AT&T and I loathe doing any type of change or upgrades. I will explain this year's issue, not the last few years. My husband purchased new phone on their website and did confirm that old phone can be returned to the store and not needing to be mail back. Showed up to the store Friday evening around 4 and didn't leave until after 8 in a hate filled rage. It started off with one rep saying they are not able to take the old phone and us saying it was confirmed twice before my husband ordered the phone that it can be traded in store. After disappearing for 15 mins, she confirmed with her manager it can be done and we even confirmed with customer service while waiting for the reps return. The rep explained they don't know how to return. The instructions are being printed out and someone else will help. Another rep came and activated the new phone but something went wrong with trading in my old phone. Saying my phone was not showing up to be able to print out the label for them to mail it off. We would have to mail the old phone off. Explained, no way that is not going to happen and gave them the story why not. My husband ask for manager but it would be a 30 min wait. All I know the manager was in the back during that time. If she was on lunch, unstandable, but the shit attitude that was provided the rest of the evening... she needs to be retrained. After, talking to her to having my husband calling up customer service, felt like for the millionth time, to where they could not help us or the store. The Manager even said to us that if we provided the store the returned shipping label, that was mailed to us, that when they mail the phone it's not guarantee return. So, we can still get charged! That is when I asked if I can just return the new phone and have my old phone turned back on. She said sure but she could not do it but another rep. So we waited an even longer time to the point other reps were leaving for the day. We get another rep and we have to explain the whole thing to him. He had no freaking clue why we were even there. He tells me that their is a restocking fee of $40 or $45. I said no way. This is not our issue, the box had to be open to activate the damn phone and were we not told when we spoke with the manager. At this point I am beyond heated and told the rep that I know this phone is under warranty and I will smash it. Now turn back on my phone. He said he would get the manager. Like holy hell folks. We waited AGAIN! Manager comes out again and she tells us how the fee would not be waived that the box was open. But if we purchased the phone at the store, and not online at the AT&T website, it can be returned with no restocking fee. At this point I grabbed the phones and left very pissed off that even the customers were aware. I went to the door to find the door locked. This damn store is closed for the day with 7 people waiting and reps were leaving before the store closed. Like holy hell, no fucks are given. I unlock the door and got the hell out. I needed to leave before shit hit the fan. I know AT&T does not give a shit but with how long we have been with them... after our DirecTv and other contracts are up. We are gone. The volume of the store compared to the people they have working is absurd. Two technicians assisted one customer so it seems that the people aren't trained to assist people on their own. I was a walk in and got skipped in line which really boiled me after waiting 35 minutes patiently with a smile. I will never return here and would rather drive to the Gulfport location. read more

I feel like this store takes advantage of you in every way possible. They give you free stuff only to find out that there are fees to pay you were not told of, lady at att said that you should have received an email that contains fee information and so nothing can be done about it.. Guy says if you setup your bundle here "I" can waive the activation for you!! After setting up says "I will try my best to get it waived but no guarantee.." I honestly felt tired of the ongoing issues that leads to (hidden)fees here and there. I have no issue paying - I just have to know exactly what its for, BEFORE it appears on bills! Lastly, you guys represent all of AT&T but even the manager says that "online people" create advertisement to entice customers but does not really reflect the actual truth.. I think they're doing the same thing in this store anyway. We were about to add another phone to this acct but changed our mind and as soon as we can we will change carriers. Very disappointed at the way this store kept holding back info just to entice customers in order to gain business. This store is very misleading and not helpful when issues come up on your bill. Once you get an account from them, you are tossed aside as they try to snag the next fool. I had several issues on my first bill and when I came in after talking to support at 611, the manager (who is the only person with the power to help) would not correct these issues even though customer support said that he should do that!
