My experience here was absolutely horrible and I'm still dealing with the nightmare. Was in MS for school back from August til October. Stopped in to check out phones as my speaker was starting to go but ultimately just browsing. Elizabeth persuaded me to do an upgrade and assured me that I would not be paying for the phone since it was part of the deals they had at the time. I asked multiple times if the phone was free, to which she and the manager stated yes, I just had to pay the taxes on the handset itself. Fine. That's a pretty common deal when newer versions are released. They didn't have the one I wanted in stock so they had to order it. I told Elizabeth multiple times that I was out of state and that it would need shipped to the store. She still had it sent to my home address... My husband had to ship it to me via UPS (thankfully T-Mobile reimbursed me those charges.) Took it to the store to swap out my old phone and had it set up, to which the guy who was doing it, elected to set it up as a new phone and not use the backup information from my old phone so I lost a good amount of everything. To make matters worse, I'm currently paying for a phone I was assured was free because the promotion they told me I was getting, apparently had to be used for a NEW line, not an upgrade. So after months of calling customer service and not being able to return the phone as an option, I'm stuck paying an extra 20 something a month for the next couple years. DO NOT join T-Mobile. They are the absolute worst and have terrible customer service. As soon as phone is paid, I'm OUT OF THERE! read more
