Customer service is absolute trash. There were 2-3 employees with customers and when my wife and I walked in, absolutely nobody acknowledged us. I understand the employees were working with other customers but a simple "hello, we will be with you in a moment," is all that's needed. We stood waiting like fools for about 10 minutes, waiting for anyone to make eye contact. We were ready to buy two iPhone 16's. Is it because we are a mixed race couple? I've done business with ATT (Paradise Key at Kelly Plantation, Destin) for years. I went to upgrade my phone under a promotion. The store manager (Chris) told me to return my old phone after I receive the new phone in the mail. He said it would be simpler to process. Two days later I returned to the Destin store with my new phone, and the manager would not honor my discount because the promotion expired the day prior. I found this very unethical and the manager disappeared and became unavailable. I complained to the regional manager, and he said there was nothing he could do. I will NOT patronize this store again, and if you get into an ATT jam, expect nothing from the ATT management. read more

Top notch experience from Anthony. He is that next level type of associate that we all wish we could have help us in any business we walk into. This type of sale and service is very consultative in my opinion and requires a person conversant with people of all budgets, tech knowledge, and walks of life. We wound up adding a line to our plan, getting a free iPhone XsMax, direct tv, and a couple hundred dollars on a gift card. It is important to have a representative who can understand what you need and how to get you there. Simply upgrading my wife's phone from an iPhone 8 to a new one is not as cost effective as adding the line, but I'll spare everyone the details. Just go to the store and ask for Anthony and see what he can do for you. We went at 9am on Monday to avoid lines compared to yesterday's two hour wait time. We received help instantly. In addition he put on a perfectly placed screen protector on the screen. Great job from beginning to end. read more

I went for some help from a human regarding a billing issue. 2 staff members were on staff. The male went out of his way to tell the people waiting "You can wait if you want to, but it is going to be a long wait." Two ladies were next to be served. When he finished with his current customer, instead of helping the ladies, he made a phone call, and again told them it would be a long wait. He then asked them to "Stop staring at me." This was the worst service I've every had at a AT&T store. When I walked in I was ignored and sat and waited before I left, also every time somebody else walked in they were tended to immediately. I also tried to go tell one of the workers we needed help but they just ignored me. read more

Been trying since 10 am to get a copy of my final ATT bill, customer service says to call local store, store tells me to call customer service, I call customer service AGAIN, they tell me call store.....guess they don't do the communication thing.......Went to ATT in Destin (34907 Emerald Coast Pkwy, Destin, FL 32541)....Asked if I could get a copy of my final bill, manager and employee laugh/smirk/and become frustrated...I politely ask them not to laugh I just need help...Manager straight up yells at me to leave store cause he is going to call police and says racial slur....Go somewhere else, never have i been treated this way...very disrespectful and racists! read more

Went in this morning before work, because my father in-law lost his phone during a fishing trip. One of the sales guy messed up and instead of transferring my father's line into the new sim he transferred my line instead, so I had to return after work. After a few minutes Gavin asked me what I needed. I told him my issue and if they can transfer all my number to the new sim not knowing that my numbers would still be in my phone. He told me all I had to do was change the sim over to my phone since it's the same size. He then signed me in along with the lady that came in after me. While I was sitting on the side where all the sales reps were. The rep closes to me went and service the lady after me first. I didn't know his name because he didn't have a name tag on. I'm not sure if he's new or the manager but he was the only one with a light blue shirt on. Just because I came in for a sim doesn't mean my time and money doesn't matter! All I needed was "1" minute of their time but I was completely ignored and skipped over. I had to stop Gavin from servicing other patrons to just get the pin to remove my iPhone sim. Even after the rep in the light blue shirt was finished with the lady after me he didn't even ask me if I needed anything. At this point I'm already annoyed so I left. While I was in the parking lot trying to type up this review, sweet Gavin came out to check if I still needed anything. As I was fuming with an angry expression he still gave me respect. If I ever come back to that location I would only look for Gavin, or better yet Gavin should just find another location to work. read more

I've been using this AT&T for years but I won't be anymore. Phone service was disabled when my brother went in for an upgrade leaving me with no way to call and have it turned back on in the middle of my day. All phones on the plan were disabled. Three different phones disabled for a single phone upgrade. How do you mess up that bad? I had to meet up with my brother who had the only working phone to have it fixed only to hear my phone number is registered to a different SIM card and so on. For someone who uses their phone for work it annoyed me to the max I had my workday interrupted for an issue that was so simple. read more

It was a rainy day and a last minute trip to this at&t location. Lol We were met at the door by a smiling and welcoming employee by the name of Cameron. Anyways, I'm not a fan of having products thrown as us to be purchased and thankfully he was he opposite! He was very knowledgeable about the products and answered every question we had. Will definitely be going back to purchase a few extra products as his customer service was on point! He even walked us to our vehicle with an umbrella!!!! This guy deserves a raise!!! read more

I had broken my phone at 6:30pm. I called the store and the person who answered was very rude and said he was unwilling to help because they were already locking up when closing was not until 7pm. I called the Santa Rosa store which was 30 minutes further and they were kind and even offered to keep the doors open longer to assist with my unexpected issue. I arrive to the Destin AT&T and the owner was standing outside guarding the door and basically shut it in my face; however another sales person was inside helping a last minute customer. If you need an AT&T its worth the drive to Santa Rosa area. I will never stop at this one ever again. read more

we stopped while on a road trip to upgrade our family plan to an unlimited data plan. We purchased a Roku and new MIFI. the whole process took a long three hours. Just before finalizing all, Christopher L. went in the back and came back handing us a "free" tablet, telling us it was part of the whole deal. We never asked for the tablet but he insisted we take it. We are home now and when we looked at our first ATT invoice, we noticed a 200$ installment fee and a 40$/month new charge for the tablet! We never asked for this tablet/additional line as we have no use for it. Since two days we have been in contact with ATT to try to resolve this issue. We even will face a cancellation charge for a line we never asked for. Stay away from this store!! read more

I have been an AT&T wireless customer for nearly a decade, and my visit to this location has played a huge role in my decision to switch to Verizon. We recently relocated from Texas to Florida and immediately began having issues with coverage through AT&T. We had to purchase a Microcell tower from AT&T for $150 because we had absolutely no coverage in our house - this was not an ideal situation, but we dealt with it because we had never before had an issue with AT&T. However, the longer we were in the area, we discovered more and more dead zones and areas of spotty coverage, which was a major inconvenience. Our friends and neighbors who have wireless service through other providers do not have this issue. We visited this location to see if there is anything we could do to improve reception, and to possibly get three new phones. When we arrived, there were three people who were ahead of us in line. We browsed through the store while waiting for an employee to assist us. The manager of the store was busy assisting one of the employees with setting up another customer's phone. This went on for at least 30 minutes. He knew customers (not just us) were getting frustrated, and neither he, nor any other employee even acknowledged that we were there. Another young man arrived for his shift and stood around on the sales floor for about 15 minutes, clearly awaiting instruction from his supervisor. When you have 5 customers waiting, it should be a priority to get all available hands on deck in order to get the line moving. However, the manager continued with his task and did not provide any direction at all to the employee who had just arrived. We were next in line, and the young man who had just arrived for his shift should have been the one to help us. However, we noticed that while he was standing at the podium awaiting instruction from his supervisor, he was continuously biting his fingernails. After witnessing this for several minutes, we decided to leave, although at this point we had waited in the store for more than an hour. Who wants to shake the hand of, and hold products that were handed to you by someone who has been putting their fingers in their mouth for 15 minutes? That is completely disgusting. Due to the horrible customer service provided by this location, we have switched to Verizon and have had no issues with coverage and have experienced nothing but exceptional customer service. I honestly did not want to make the switch from AT&T to Verizon, but given the poor customer service and lack of coverage in my area, I had no choice. read more

I would not recommend it, call customer service or go to another location as this place or store manager seems that don't know how to deliver customer service. I had my service done recently and the associate or store manager were awful, after i called in customer service I had received the help I needed from the start, I can't understand why they just don't help when I did the purchase in their store, after all I was their client.
