He has tried to get a resolution for three days - he is told there are tickets out requesting service but still has no answers. He also has no working phone which he is paying for. I definitely recommend supporting our local retailers during this time. The store was clean and had tape on the floor for social distancing. The employees wore masks. If we hadn't gone into the store, we would not have learned about upgrades going on at this time (e.g. LG paid off the balance of my phone). My husband and I both ended up upgrading our phones and getting some accessories. Brad was a big help and not pushy at all.

I've been with Verizon for over twenty years and have never received the high quality service I received from this young man. He worked with me and took care of other customers at the same time. Usually, it's been my experience that after the sale is complete, customer service comes to an abrupt halt. He is patient, knowledgeable, humble and friendly. He helps with technical issues, and explains them in a way I can understand. I would put him in the category as a super-exceptional employee and should be acknowledged. Any business would be fortunate to have him as an employee. Kudos to you, Jayson! You rock!

Another Verizon franchise retailer gone wild (and I don't mean with bikini-clad coeds)!…read more Whatever you do - avoid this store. First of all, it's not a corporate-owned Verizon store. What does this mean to you? Less integrity in regards to customer service issues and a greater chance for customer dissatisfaction, which is exactly what happened to me. If you never received your high school degree and want to manage your own retail store, I'm sure the owners of this franchise will be more than happy to hire you without an interview apparently. Why do I say this? The manager on duty when I visited this store appeared to have recently had a lobotomy (or something similar to it). He didn't know anything about anything. Constantly on the phone with other stores to find the answers to customers' questions, this manager was in serious need of some real training. I actually felt sorry for him. Maybe he's more proficient now, but he wasn't then and that's a true reflection of the leadership involved with this store. Finally, I don't even know why one would bother walking into this closet-sized store. It's too small to provide the selection one deserves when patronizing Verizon. Compared to the corporate-owned stores, this one doesn't even come close. Why bother? Sorry Verizon. There's always a few bad apples in every bushel and this is one of them. Good luck.

I'm always distrustful of stores like these and this experience did nothing to make me feel more…read morecomfortable. I get a discount on Verizon through one of my clients so it makes sense for me to stick with them now that its time for me to upgrade phones. However, I don't use it for the web and I rarely text. I basically want something that will make and receive calls. But I do travel outside of the US quite a bit and was interested in a GSM phone with a SIM card of which I knew that Verizon carried at least one (from researching on its website) When I told the gentleman who offered to assist my mother and I what I was looking for, his response was, 'oh you mean you want one with a memory card.' No, I want a GSM phone with a SIM card. His response, 'No, I'm sure you mean a memory card, like one of those micro SD cards.' After explaining to him that I really did mean a SIM card, he told me that there wasn't such a thing with Verizon and I would have to get a smart phone with a data plan. I explained that I don't want a data plan as I wouldn't use it and he proceeds to show me a Blackberry. I mention the phone that I had seen on the website and he tells me it doesn't exist and the other worker on the computer (surfing the web) doesn't offer to look it up. He just gets up and walks away. After 10 minutes of him showing me phones that didn't meet my requirements he asks my mom what she's looking for. She just wants a basic phone. She doesn't text or use data service either. He starts showing her some of the more complicated phones in the store. She again asks him for something simple and he shows her a smart phone. I couldn't wait to get out of there. I went home and immediately found 2 GSM/SIM card phones on Verizon's website, both of which met my requirements. Think I'll be ordering off the web...

I was greeted and I explained my/her situation to Dominic. He was very helpful, and explained to me what my options were, since I was not listed on her account. Dominic went above and beyond to help me get this problem fixed. He went even further, as I couldn't figure out how to use my Aunt's flip phone to receive messages. I can't recommend this Verizon Store and especially Dominic highly enough. I have rarely given 5-star reviews in the past, because to me, even after a problem has been solved, I felt as though I had not been fully satisfied with the outcome. This time I wish there was a way to give more than 5-stars. Thank you, Dominic. This was a quick and satisfying outcome to her problem!
