No... they would not consider that. I decided to try Rapid iPhone Repair. They quoted me 2 prices. One if the phone only needed the screen repair and another if there were additional issues. When I picked the watch up, they charged me for the screen replacement and said that the watch was fine. They did the job in one day. They did not try to upcharge. They were very professional and displayed integrity, I recommend this repair shop without any reservations. I would certainly take any Apple product there for repair (cross my fingers that I do not need to). It is almost always on and full speed. Last Friday unfortunately at 5 pm my internet died. I called on Saturday morning, and perhaps contradicting some messaging from the company and at least one other review here I immediately spoke to a human who was helpful and knowledgable. He did some initial diagnosis, decided I would need a service call, and arranged one as soon as possible, which because of recent storms was not possible until Wednesday. Thomas the tech arrived on time on Wednesday morning, was friendly, very smart, and immediately went about further diagnosis, which quickly became apparent as an external wiring problem. Thomas set about replacing the wiring, including re-routing the path of the wiring to avoid similar problems in the future. He was very thorough, worked fast and efficiently, and had me back and running in about one hour. Many kudos to Thomas and to BAM for helping me get back on the tubes! Their people, and their technology, are clearly superior to other providers for folks like me in rural desert settings.

When I called tech today, got Colorado and it sounded like I had called a bar. Laughing and screaming going on. They said they were people on other calls. How professional and childish. When calling BAM, a follow up survey is offered. Tried to take advantage of this 3 different times. Even mentioned it to the rep. Somehow they apparently saw to it that it was made unavailable. Call was just cut off. We have Starlink at another house and have not had to deal with the techs that are apparently sharing an IQ in Colorado. They didn't seem to care less when I mentioned switching. What's next? Call center in Mamila. Or the inevitable AI replacing all of them?
