At first, I got a call saying the motherboard was completely damaged and likely beyond repair, which was disappointing. Then the next day, they called back and said they had spent more time looking into it and were actually able to fix it. The repair ended up costing an additional $150, but it was absolutely worth it. My kids' PS5 had stopped accepting discs, and now it's working again. They also advised against relying on random YouTube repair tutorials (oops), since DIY fixes can sometimes make the problem much worse (especially if you're clueless like me). No one answered the phone and voicemail mail was full. The representative we spoke to at Verizon said he would definitely report this issue. Bottom line, he canceled our whole order and processed a new one. (Thank you Verizon!)
